I hired them to clean a new home before I moved in, about 2,500 sq ft. They were better priced than other similarly rated groups and I appreciated that they gave a flat fee, rather than an hourly rate. Your milage my vary, but I was pleased they were able to come on short notice, the very next day. They worked for a little over 3 hours and I'm satisfied with their work. Is the house now absolutely spotless? No. Was it good value for the cost? Yes, most definitely. They also gave me the option to look things over before they left and I did ask them to re-mop a spot that had been missed. (Some internet cables had been piled in a corner and made it hard to get to the cat hair under it. But all I had to do was point it out and the gals grabbed the mop and took care of it.) read more

Couldn't even hire them. They have a confusing and rushed onboarding process where - get this - YOU supply a description of what you need - and THEY give you a quote that DOES NOT include what you asked for. Then they give you add-ons - for extra fees - for things that were in the original request - a request that was created using THEIR FORM! Here we are chatting and I'm on the verge of hiring them - and they have no self-awareness - no understanding of what it's like to communicate with their confusion machine. If there's confusion in the sales process, there will certainly be confusion once they land in my home. Yelp provides this form and then relays it to the vendor - and it's evident in the job chat. Very confusing that a company wouldn't know how Yelp works when they use it regularly for their business. read more

To quote 'Guy', this company loves honest reviews. Even if my review is 1 star it will still give them volume and flow. So here is my honest review: You would be better served using another company that operates with honesty and integrity! Filled out the project request for a move in/move out cleaning service on Yelp and listed the MAX number of bedrooms and bathrooms (4 or more) allowed on the survey. Photo included. I received an estimated quote (NO specifics were provided with the quote) and a follow up message asking if I needed appliances cleaned.  I specified the number of appliances and confirmed the date and time for service. The day of service I received a message with a higher than estimated cost (no cost breakdown was provided) and instructions to prepay. Towards the end of the service, I received a call asking me to check the work that had been completed and see if I needed anything else. It was at this time that I noticed one of the appliances that I had put in my original request (I showed the cleaners my text and later sent a screenshot to the company) was not completed. As the team was taking care of this, I started receiving messages from someone named 'Guy'. Guy tells me that I have to pay more for the additional appliance. Since I already paid more than the estimated quote, I didn't agree with this.  Then Guy tells me that my estimated quote was for a 4/4 bed/bath home followed by a screenshot of my Zillow home estimate showing 4 beds and 5 baths. When I put my information into YELP I put in the max bed/baths allowed. I reiterated this during our phone call. Now if the company's practice is to pull up Zillow home estimates, this should have been done BEFORE you sent me the amount due on the morning of service. PERIOD! YOU should have specified the number of beds/baths the estimated quote covered which would have given ME the opportunity to correct it if needed. This should not be used as an EXTORTION tactic to get more money at the end. Nor should this be used as an attempt to appear as though you gave me some kind of concession on the service. Nothing I've said in this review is inaccurate. Use the same approach you use with scammers when they try to 'continue the conversation' and keep you texting or on a call. Hang up and block. I needed my former apartment cleaned out and they stepped in. While it was on the more expensive side, it was well worth it. Every room that I requested to be clean was spotless (out of a 2bd/2br apartment, I only had them clean the common areas and 1bd/1br). There was still visible dirt, grime in the bathrooms, crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and floors that clearly hadn't been mopped properly. It looked like a rushed job with zero attention to detail. We hired EcoHappy Maids to do a move-out cleaning for our 3 bed / 4 bath townhouse, and they absolutely blew us away. A team of 4 came in and worked with incredible precision. I scheduled a clean through yelp with eco happy maids that was just OK . for a whole house clean that was supposed to be top to bottom ( around $400 cost ) i was disappointed in the level of detail . found a great deal of dust still around the house, the cleaners left without checking with us. If this review was just for that clean i would give 3 stars but it was what happened after that was completely unprofessional. Eco reached out a month later asking if we were interested , i shared my feedback about the first clean and stated that MAYBE i might be willing to give them another chance . We never scheduled or confirmed a clean . The next monday , a crew showed up to my house unannounced and unscheduled . they interrupted an important work meeting. Things happen so after expressing my disappointment and turning them away i figured I would just let it go. However today , they sent my wife a venmo request for $229 for a clean that never was confirmed , scheduled , or happened . this is obviously a disorganized operation and i was never impressed that much in the first place , but to show up at my house and start requesting money for nothing is absolutely ridiculous . We had EcoHappyMaids come today for a deep move out clean of our rental house and I'm embarrassed to say they had their work cut out for them. We lived there for 6 months and never had it cleaned professionally during that time, and probably only vacuumed 3 times. I wish I had before and after photos, but I also don't because it was in such a state. They were AMAZING! Not only were they super kind, but they were efficient as anything, and had the place sparkling clean in 2.5 hours, which is exactly how long they told me it would take. And they arrived on time, which is worth mentioning because the cleaners who came to our new house arrived at the end of a 2 hour arrival window. I am so impressed by this crew, and plan to book them for routine cleans in our new spot!! read more

I've used this service twice. The first time good, still had some issues like cob webs in the corner and around a light fixture. Nothing too crazy since the rest of the house looked great. The second time was a disaster. Literally nothing was moved or wiped down. The only thing that appeared to have been cleaned were the mirrors and one bed was made. I called asking for money back but was denied. The only thing they offered was to have the crew come back to clean again or to have another crew come and clean. There was no way I was going to have the same crew come back or have another crew come in. That would be extremely uncomfortable. If you're looking for a basic move in or move out cleaning go for it, but if you want a consistent cleaning service I'd go elsewhere. read more

The place looked clean on the surface and was tidy and vacuumed but drawers had crumbs and dirt, rust on the tile, grease on edges of the cupboards, the beds sloppily made, sink drain had grime around the edges. Disappointed for the money I spent on a small studio. I had asked for before and after photos and got terrible odd photos. read more

I contacted this company on Yelp to clean our house. We filled out the form and received a quote. The form asked about number of beds, number of baths, sqft, and pets. Decided to book them based on the quote. They showed up at my house and started cleaning. I get a text 30 minutes later telling me they made a mistake and the price is going to be higher. I wasn't okay with the higher price. We have a budget for cleaning & we've always been able to find companies who fit within that budget in the past. The person on the phone then blamed it on me saying I didn't provide accurate information because our house has shelves in the basement. The form never asked about shelves and no one ever inquired. How am I supposed to know to provide you with information that was never requested? I wasn't going to pay the higher price so they left midclean. Extremely unhappy with this customer service & experience & especially unhappy with the "bait and switch" pricing. Edit: Post below from the company is incorrect. I told them we couldn't pay a higher price and asked them how they wanted to proceed. They kept repeating that they couldn't clean our house for the quoted price so the resolution was for them to leave mid-clean because I wasn't going to pay more than I was quoted. As a customer, I have a right to pick the best company based on prices that are quoted to me & I can't do that when a company uses bait & switch pricing. We've since gotten quotes from multiple other cleaning companies, all of which are in our budget. Skip this company & choose one of the many other options on Yelp. read more

I wanted to love this service but I'm really disappointed. We did their initial clean for $300 and were happy with it (so if you just want a one time deep clean, they should be good). However we had them come back twice since and it have been disappointed. Yesterday for $200, 2 women came to our house for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. For $100 an hour, I expect my house to be clean but they basically did what I would do prior to having friends over, a quick surface clean. Some examples, didn't move anything on our bathroom sink so there were soap rings and loose hairs, still had loose hairs in on the bathtub brim (I don't recall there being any more than shown to begin with as we regularly wipe it down from our dog), on our decorative bookshelf cleaned the first inch but didn't move any of the decor around to clean the shelves (hard to see but so dusty still), left all the tree needles, the list goes on. I'm nearly 8 months pregnant and really wanted some help before hosting my in laws over Christmas, but $200 later looks like I will still have to be spending the weekend cleaning. (Pics are from right after they left). They also didn't wear masks even though I was wearing one and COVID is surging. ***updating to 4-stars because they have tried hard to come back and do more cleaning to make it right which I appreciate. read more

We have been using Eco Happy Maids for just over two years now. They come two times a month. This has been the first time in my entire life that I've ever lived anywhere and had a maid service come, so I don't have anything to compare this particular company with, but I can say that it has been life-changing. That may sound hyperbolic, but it is not. One example of the terrific work they do was on one of our toilets. After they had finished cleaning it, I literally gasped when I saw how clean they had gotten it. I had been trying unsuccessfully to get out some hard water stains on the toilet bowl. I scrubbed and tried different methods, but to no avail. Whatever they did - it now looks amazing! I appreciate the hard work they put in every time they come. They are also very friendly, and want you to be satisfied with what they've done before they leave. read more

I used EcoHappyMaids to clean our home after we had moved out. We chose them because of the great reviews and the fair cost. They showed up on time, and spent around 4 hours cleaning our 3b/ 3.5b, 2500 sq ft home, and cleaned every surface, carpet, baseboard, fridge, oven, etc. It was spotless by the time they had left. Our stove burners weren't functioning correctly whilst cleaning, but I called Guy who reassured me that this happens often and that the burners would return to normal, but if not he would send out a technician. Lo and behold, the next day, everything functioned correctly. I really appreciated Guy's professionalism and availabity to address any concerns I had. My wife is very, very OCD when it comes to cleanliness. That being the case...it also eats up a lot of her free-time since she literally can't relax until everything is pristine. Beyond that...the idea of having people come into your home is always slightly nerve-wracking, especially when you have pets (in our case, 2 dogs). We had our first "deep cleaning" with EcoHappyMaids, and the smile on my wife's face (and the wag on our dog's tails) when they left said it all. They were WONDERFUL with our dogs, and we were very much at ease having them clean each room of the house. The cleaning was thorough, and they communicated to us when needed (which we appreciate). Moreover, after they left my wife commented on how she likes that they don't use heavy "chemical" cleaners. Obviously that's the "ECO" in their name, but she didn't know their name...but still noticed. Great for us, and for out pets. :) A very nice, friendly group of women -- of which we will be using each month for a 'maintenance' clean. read more

Ive never hired anyone to clean anywhere I've ever lived, so I don't have anything to compare this to. The pros: Laura was quite responsive to my messages and questions. My condo did smell clean when I returned. At a glance the condo looked clean. The cons: Given the cost, ($348) and the fact that my condo was completely empty (no furniture whatsoever) I have to say I'm a little disappointed. As I've been painting and doing my own cleaning, I'm finding a lot of dirt and dust around. I dropped something on the floor the other day and when I wiped it up, the paper towel was dirtier than I expected. When I returned after cleaning was complete, my kitchen cabinets were still visibly dirty, the whole top of the microwave was sticky and greasy, and some drawers were not wiped out. I texted Laura about this and she did have the maids come back, but now I'm questioning what else is still dirty that I haven't discovered-yet. I will likely be re cleaning quite a few of the surfaces that were supposed to be clean. Maybe my standards are too high, but I was hoping my place would be sparkling for the cost UPDATE: reduced to 2 stars as today I was lining kitchen cabinets and had to wipe them down again as some were still sticky and had crumbs in them. Easy to schedule and they did a great job! They were even able to add extras like cleaning the refrigerator.

Ultimately, they did a great job at a great price. Super happy with the work and would use again! We had a little difficulty with scheduling/communication, I think because of the Yelp system. I have to update my review. My lowered star rating is not for their cleaning services, which have been consistently good (there were sometimes very small issues, like unplugging an Internet router...easy fix once we realized what had happened). My big concern, and the reason we will no longer use EcoHappyMaids, is that the cleaners consistently wore their safety masks improperly (below the nose, and sometimes below the chin). My husband and I are both immunocompromised and we expressed our concern three separate times to the cleaners and the owners, and the problem persisted. I understand masks are annoying to wear for long periods of time, but my house is the one place during the COVID-19 pandemic where I can control my own safety. If this is not a deal-breaker for you, I would definitely recommend them! They are responsive and do a good job for a reasonable price. If you are like me and are at a much higher risk of getting a severe case of COVID-19, you may want to consider another company. read more
