Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend their services. EcoHandyman was the most expensive of the bids we received, but we felt the quality materials and work justified the price for our primary residence. They used a thick 12 mil crawlspace vapor barrier, reinforced to 15 mil under stored items, exceeding the flimsier 6 mil plastic typically used by cheaper contractors. The radon system components were high quality and installed properly for energy efficiency and performance. Throughout the project, communication was clear and all crew members conducted themselves professionally in our home. They kept us informed during each step and were thoughtful about protecting our space during the messy crawlspace work. Most importantly, the crawlspace improvements have drastically reduced winter radon levels from over 8 pCi/L to around 1 pCi/L now. The vapor barrier and added insulation also seem to make the floor noticeably warmer this winter. The overall experience gives us confidence that the work was done right. While the price was high, we felt it was fair for the quality and expertise. For any major crawlspace or radon work needed in the future, EcoHandyman will be at the top of our list to call again.

Huh? And, we waited days for him to come to our house. Soooo...we saw 5 star reviews for PestMafia and called Jeff. He is the owner operator and couldn't have been nicer, very professional, and said we didn't even need a cage. He put some rags, and loose shingles in the raccoon hole and came back the next day to see if anything had moved. No raccoon and a charge of $75!!! Jeff's number is 303-990-1218. Yelp guided me to several options to consider for service, and upon reading many reviews, I decided to contact Safe Dryers. I contacted them rather late on a Friday afternoon, but they promptly texted me back, and got me on their calendar. Saul and his colleague arrived at the scheduled time, and got to work. They vacuumed out a pile of lint, and exclaimed at the amount in such a short dryer vent :). They measured the airflow, and explained to me what the ideal airflow is, what mine was at the start, and what it is now. They answered every question that I had about the state of the system and how I should maintain it going forward. They were efficient and cordial. What else can I expect? I'd like to point out that Safe Dryers wasn't the first company I called. The company, which was referred by my appliance repair folks, wanted to come to "inspect" my system for a low fee, and then "assess" what needed to be done and provide an estimate on site. When I asked how much it would cost to clean the vent, which I knew needed to be done, this other company would not answer that question. They insisted on a $69 visit to provide that assessment and cost. Safe Dryers had a simple answer--$169 for a ground level vent, $259 for something 10' off the ground or more. I'm sure if Saul and his team found something amiss while they were here, they would have told me about it, but all I needed was that vent cleaning, and that is what I got. A bargain at $169.
