They have a gas station, restrooms, a well-stocked market, several fast food places, like Wendy's and Dunkin and souvenir/clothing shops. Nathan's was selling their famous hot dogs! We were in a hurry and just visited the restroom and I bought a nice, cold Dasani! Nice area to walk your dogs and stretch your legs. It is well kept, clean and nicely planned out. The restrooms were pleasant smelling and clean also!! We were impressed!

The transportation and ticket center is the central transportation hub for magic kingdom. If you…read moredrove to Magic Kingdom, then you will end up here. The parking lot of Magic Kingdom is massive! This is my issue with it, its so large, that's fine, but they never have enough trams to pick up people. You end up waiting and then are jammed on the tram. Once you get to the front of the ticket center you have to go through security. This is another issue, they only have one line. There are so many people and one line! It's crazy! The ticket center also has ticket booths, but I would recommend buying your ticket ahead of time. Once you are past security you have three options to get to the parks: you can 1. Take the monorail to Magic Kingdom, 2. Take the Ferry Boat to Magic Kingdom or 3. Take the monorail to EPCOT. This is also the spot if you are park hoping from Magic to EPCOT or vice versa. You can also get to the monorail resorts from here. Overall this is fine, you kind of have no option if you drive to Magic Kingdom. Chances are you will go through here at some point. It's fine, its large and has all you need to get to the parks.

The transportation and ticket center is the main hub, it is attached to the parking lot which is giant. Once you get here, you have 3 options. 1. Take the monorail to Magic Kingdom 2. Take the Ferry Boat to Magic Kingdom 3. Take the monorail to EPCOT And then on really busy days or when there are issues with the Ferry or Monorail, they have buses to take you to Magic Kingdom. This is fine, there is not much to say about it. You have to come through here when you drive to Magic Kingdom. If you plan on ending the day at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, (park hoping to both), I would suggest parking here. It is easy to hop via the monorail from Magic to EPCOT. You can also purchase tickets here but the lines are long in the morning. I would also recommend getting your tickets before heading to the park. They also have security checkpoint here, so you will go through security, but then when you get to the park you do not have to go through again, you have already done it. The security line can get long, they usually funnel everyone into one line which is slightly annoying. Its so large and so many people, they need to have multiple lines open. My real issue with this place is the parking. The parking lot is so large and the rows are so long. They never have enough trams taking you up to the ticket center. You end up having to wait forever in the morning and then again at night. You can walk but it can potentially be a really long walk depending on where you park. But you will see it if you drive to Magic Kingdom.

The bus system transportation, boat transportation, monorail…read moretransportation, and other on site Disney World provided transportation options are great opportunities to get around the park without having to deal with driving. It's great to go point to point with no worries about parking, etc. The buses are air-conditioned, the boats have air-conditioned areas on the inside and the monorails have air conditioning. Fun and cool ways to travel - the kids see them as a ride... And they are! And not to forget, there's also the skyliner which has been added to Disney in the last few years. It's not air conditioned, but it has slatted vents at the top of the car that offer good air movement as the car sails through the air.

Sat in rain at the station waiting for my bus for over an hour. Saw at least three different busses…read moreover that time with my resort name on it drive right by without stopping. Called the office multiple times with no help at all. We did end up talking to one of the supervisors, James. He did do a good job helping us. He helped us get a bus to take us personally back to our resort. Which made the situation much better. He was the only person to truly help us.

You can rent an RV's if you'd like or even stay in one of the cabins that sleep up to six people. A beautiful pool, golf carts for rent, horseback riding, nightly campfires and sing alongs are just some of the amenities you'll find here. There are several places to eat, drink and purchase items and there's bus transportation to the parks and throughout Fort Wilderness. As usual staff here are all very welcoming and helpful.

Guilty pleasure! Riding the monorail was so much fun as a kid and it will always be the same…read morefeeling as an adult. My family was visiting the Magic Kingdom and wanted to stop by here first. Uber was easily about to take us to the front door for pick up and drop off. The monorail is easy to find from the lobby - a quick walk or elevator upstairs and a small walk to the station. Employees are there to monitor traffic and we had no issue with their being space to ride. Each time we were riding we also had seats.

This is a home resort location for us at the Walt Disney resort in Florida. We always enjoy our…read moretime here and this trip has already been no exception. Our first character on this trip was Dale who was hanging out here at the wilderness Lodge. The details of this area are amazing with nothing left undone. You feel like you're literally in a big lodge at a national park out west. The rooms are spacious. The accommodations are excellent and we enjoy every aspect of our day. We will often stay in multiple rooms during a stay - this gives uss us a chance to try the resort in several ways and experience it from different vantage points. This trip - we stayed in a studio at Boulder the first night and the 2nd night is at a cabin at Copper Creek and we will plan to finish in a one bedroom suite at Copper Creek. We try to stay in different areas to understand the plus and minus factors (if there are any negatives at Disney). Disney is the ultimate at spoiling...there isn't much better than Disney class and service and style. We are fans for sure!

We like the look of the 1930's California Redwood Style Lodge. The grounds are covered in coniferous trees giving it a forest atmosphere. The property is quiet, close to the Magic Kingdom and has all of the amenities we could ask for. We generally stay in a 1 bedroom villa which adds a living room area with complete kitchen. We can hit a store or have groceries delivered saving us from overpriced resort dining. If you drive there are plenty of parking stalls. If stay on Disney properties and you've never stayed here you may want to try it. Besides, the boat shuttle to Magic Kingdom is pretty cool.

While traveling down I-4 we decided to look at a few RV Parks that sparked our interest before…read moreattending the Florida State Fair. Caboose Junction RV Resort is a beautiful 55+ themed RV Park and certainly one I would consider a stay at. Unfortunately for us this is a long term RV Resort only that requires a minimum stay of 6 months (maybe that will change at some point) being we are residents of Florida a long term stay so close to home doesn't make sense for us but it definitely would be a place we would consider for a week or two while in the area. The sites are beautiful and clean and are spaced to provide plenty of privacy, the property is filled with rail cars and other train related items set in almost a museum like setting (very cool). We will continue to monitor this park to see if things change in the future it seems to be a real gem...

We stayed at this Voco for a week and had no problems. But saying that it is not a true Voco. The…read moremotel was recently purchased by IHG and they are still remodeling it. I don't see this ever being a boutique hotel. The check in process was quick and the staff were always friendly. There is a small restaurant in the lobby that is open for breakfast and dinner. We did not eat there so I don't know how it was. There is a large pool that ranges from 3'6" to 5'5" It is heated and was always warm. They had some life jackets and pool noodles available to use at no charge. Our room was on the third floor. There is one elevator and many stair cases. They have a laundry area on the second floor by the elevator. Our room was very dark. I found myself using the flash light on my phone. It's was a large room with two queen beds. The bed spread/duvet cover was very lumpy when we arrived. But was not like that every day after our room was cleaned. I think they may have ran out of wash clothes but we didn't not get any and they gave us extra hand towels. There is a shuttle bus that will take you to Disneys TTC or Hollywood Studios. We didn't use it on park days because it left too late for us. We did use it on non park days to go to HS and ride the Skyliner. But used an Uber to get back to the hotel. You have to scan a QR code and make a reservation to ride it. It's called the Fireman's shuttle I think. It's a third party company. They picked up at many hotels in the area before heading to Disney. We would stay at this property again.
