The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

I bought the tickets and knew that there wouldn't be a bad seat in the place, but with it being my favorite play, I chose the front row. It did not disappoint as we were a little raised from the stage so you're not looking up straining your neck the entire time. The refreshments sold are of a wonderful variety and the canned bloody mary was delicious! I do wish they had cup holders simply because I'm accient prone. I would love to see another play here soon!

That creates a very small space for the people next to each other to put their legs. I was in seat C13, hubby was in C12 and the 6ft. tall lady in C11 had to vie for leg room. I believe the seats are original to the theater. My seat was lumpy and not at all comfortable. It was directly behind the seat in front of me so I had to lean to the side to see the stage. That said, the building has a very interesting history. It was originally built in the 1920's as the Town Hall for Littleton. A fire truck was kept in what's now the lobby and there was a jail in the basement. The whole building has a historical feel. The staff was friendly and welcoming and their production of Avenue Q was excellent. Parking is along Main Street which could be a challenge so I recommend arriving early.

Yes, I'm definitely a fan of Cherry Creek Theater!…read more CCT is a relatively new addition to the Denver theater scene, and have just begun their second season of productions. They're so new, in fact, they don't actually have a traditional theater space. They partner with the Shaver-Ramsey rug gallery in Cherry Creek and hold their performances in the large room off to the side of the main showroom. The acoustics are wonderful, and the space works really well. The performance we saw was in-the-round, so there wasn't a bad seat in the place. They don't focus on one specific type of theater - you'll find dramas, comedies, even musicals. I suspect that anything you see will be quite good as they get some of the best acting talent in Denver, and do a solid job with their script selection. The CCT also offers refreshments before the show and during intermission, including wine, most of which seemed to just have a suggested "donation" amount. You are allowed to bring drinks into the theater - yay! They find places around the area (Whole Foods, for example) and bring in pretty decent bites. So, there you go - yet another theater in Denver you perhaps never knew was there. Check it out!

This place has grassy space in the back half of the amphitheater and traditional reserved seating up front. They do have a VIP entrance if that matters. They have a bike valet. Lots of booze and easy food options. Nothing glamorous and everything expensive. You can bring a blanket in with bag search. I'd say this place holds between 20-30 thousand guests at capacity. It's sometimes crowded and that can make things unpleasant in the open seating. For Above and Beyond we sat in row 102 seats 114 and 115. Those were decent. Right next to the sounds booth so we saw all the acts come in and hang for a bit. We stayed at a local hotel and used the parking shuttle. One time we used lightrail to get back home in downtown and had to leave early to catch the last train. The train is easy. Bathrooms are ok. Lots of people working doing security and seat management etc. Parking seems challenging but never done it.
