This is a good shopping center with a wide variety of stores. It's separated into two major…read moresections. The Upper Section includes big box stores such as Target, Kohl's, Best Buy and Dick's, along with some smaller scale stores such as Nordstroms Rack, Michaels, and PetSmart. There are a couple of restaurants in the Upper Section, Chili's and TGI Fridays, two places I never visit. The Lower Section has more stores and a few restaurants including LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Robin and Panera Bread. There is a large Barnes and Noble and Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema de Lux. There is also a 110 Grill adjacent to the Cinema. The Cinema and the 110 Grill have their own parking lots. Two new restaurants are under construction in this section, The Yard House and Shake Shack. The Yard House is expected to have a standalone building, evident by the huge construction project taking up a large amount of parking in the Lower Section. During weekends and busy holidays, traffic police are out in force at the Shoppes, in part because there is only one way in and out of this sprawling shopping center. Traffic and parking can be an issue depending on where you want to park during peak periods.

Bay State Commons is a relatively new shopping center in Westborough, and even while there are a…read morelot of vacant spaces, I think it's a very prominent and well thought out addition to the center of Westborough. In town center areas, I (for one) don't expect to see large department stores anymore. It's sort of a generational thing that was lost when the bigger and larger shopping malls emerged on big gigantic highways, and all of the local independent department stores were lost and even the chain department stores didn't stay open in town center areas.... however, with a large plot of land that the town of Westborough had, they built a nice, new area with a lot of things the town needed without having to get on Route 9. Roche Bros (great to have, especially considering how unintentionally bad both of the Stop&Shop's in Westborough are), Boston Interiors, Ted's Montana Grill (the only one in the state), The Paper Store, Panera (with a drive thru), Art's Cleaners, GNC, Boston Sports Club (the only gym around), Tavolino, Stein Mart (the only one in the state), DaVine Liquors, Bosotn Ski & Tennis, Sachi Japanese Food, and other various stores as well. Linens & Things unfortunately closed years ago when their entire company fell apart, and has stayed vacant since, and so has a chocolate shop as well. Either way, it's a pleasant plaza, and even without all that much is a great addition to Westborough. Due to the fact of the lack of places to go and the somewhat confusing parking lot, 3 stars seems the most applicable for this shopping center.

Good little shopping plaza on Route 109 in Milford…read more Includes one big department store and a bunch of small stores and eateries. Never crowded. Only complaint (-1 star) for exit. SUPER dangerous turning left on 109 at one exit and the other has a no left turn sign!!!! Put a traffic light here!!! Some of Milford Plaza's finds are: -- Kohl's -- Town Fair Tire -- Sally Beauty Supply -- Panera Bread -- Papa Gino's -- Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft -- Radio Shack (closing next month though!) -- Applebee's and more. UPDATE : Early 2017 Recent renovations to the entire aesthetics of this building are great. They have completely renovated the look of all the storefronts (thank goodness.... they hadn't previously done any work since the 70's!). Parking lot has been completely re paved (also used to be bumps EVERYWHERE) and the layout of the lot is new and much more efficient. Good progress. Nice to see Milford getting better and more decent retail centers.

Perfect, new setup…read more Plaza includes: HUGE Target store Staples Very Un-crowded, Friendly Best Buy Bed Bath And Beyond Super Renovated, Fridays and Petco Everything essential you could get just from coming here! Be careful of stop signs at the few intersections, and Best Buy & Petco are hidden you have to look for them in the back behind Staples. But if you are a "newbie", don't worry there are signs directing you in every which way for everything. Only problem here is the entrance / exit. Entering the plaza is super annoying coming from Lowe's, Sports Authority and Route 85 because the turn signal is 3 seconds long and the cars coming down on Fortune are FLYING. Exiting the plaza is worse, it's a 4-way intersection with the Quarry Mall coming for the opposite side of the plaza's exit, and everyone is trying to turn left, with no turn signals, it's super dangerous, and the traffic gets out of control coming from the Target parking lot exit. Add turn signals!!!!!
