My new favorite ice cream & cookie dessert place that I never knew I needed. They only sell three things here -ice cream, milk, & cookies but at all three they excel. The types of cookies they sell here are your more "traditional" variety and less the extravagant, over-the-top type like those 1,000 calorie kind that other cookie chains such as Crumbl sell. We've been here at least five times and every time, customer service has been nothing but short of outstanding, even though it's been different young people most of the time. One word.. FATE. As I walked out of one of my fave boba shops, I saw a few girls sitting on a bench eating cookies, so I knew they must've gotten them somewhere nearby. Milk & Cookies was right there a few shops down, so I had to stop in! It smells so good as soon as you get through the door, and they have so many cookie flavors to choose from! I got the s'mores and pistachio toffee cookies, and they were sooooo good! Warm and the epitome of perfection, I had to stop myself from eating one whole cookie! I can positively say this place is better than Crumbl! They also have a variety of ice cream flavors! The staff member that helped us was super friendly and helpful, and the prices for everything were pretty reasonable. We stopped by again, this time not as late and the peanut butter cookies were to die for. They taste so rich and delicious with actual peanut butter cups in them! Paired with some delicious milk root beer and the orange cream milk tastes just like a cream cycle. The triple chocolate and chocolate pistachio toffee was my personal favorite. Have had these out in OC and so glad they're closer to home. Good fix for cookies and ice cream cravings. BUT when I was eating the butter cake ice cream, there was a piece of something that I kept gnawing on thinking it was cookie or cake pieces. I couldn't swallow it down cuz it was really firm, so I spit out the bits and it turned out to be wood fibers that I'm assuming came from the sample spoons. I don't usually post so I'm only really posting so maybe they'll change the spoons before someone actually swallows wood. read more

My son saw the new signage from the road and immediately wanted to get some milk and cookies! I, on the other hand, thought the previous cookie place just rebranded itself, so I wasn't that interested. The old place made tall cake-like cookies, which I don't prefer. I like cookies that are crispy on the outside, chewy toward the center. I finally brought my kid here, just as a random treat. To my surprise, the business was completely new - they just also sell cookies. These looked better to me...not tall and fluffy but flatter and chewier looking. My kid got a bunch of different ones and the moment he bit into a snickerdoodle he muttered, "This is the best." Cookie crumbs flew out of his mouth like Cookie Monster. I got the standard chocolate chip. I really didn't expect the outside to be crispy - I figured if it's been sitting in the shelf for a while it's probably just going to be chewy. But it was in fact crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. I think this is a good quality cookie place and definitely worth visiting. read more

In addition, they serve ice cream, which is always a major plus, especially when you have. And the fact that they have a variety of different milk is also a plus. I have tried their milk but I will on my next visit. They also have an app so if you are like me sign up so you can get points to get free goodies. I am only taking off a star because when we walked in, we were not greeted. We stood there for about five minutes along with another lady who walked in after us and nobody seemed to be in. However an employee did come out eventually after she popped her head out, then ran back. I am assuming she was on break or listening to music but That is the only reason why I am taking off a star because even if you have no customers, you still should be mindful and be present at least pop your head in every few minutes because she could have lost out on business. read more

So we tried this out today. I love supporting small businesses. Their ice cream was very good. I got brown butter toffee and that was amazing. The reason for the 3 stars is that the woman working was extremely unfriendly. She didn't smile or make conversation. She seemed annoyed that we were there. My kids wanted to try a couple flavors of ice cream and I limited them to one because she just seemed so annoyed with us. The only 2 words she spoke were "hi" and "you're welcome". Customer service is what make or break businesses, and as someone in customer service myself, I can say that going the extra mile, especially for a family owned business is what matters. Unfortunately I don't think we will go back because of this. I'd rather support a small business that appreciates customers and wants to put effort into relationships. read more
