You can get some pretty classic tacky tourist stuff, like "uffda", "doncha know", "ope", or other funny Minn- Dak sayings on magnets and stickers. There's lots of college gear from UND or NDSU to sport and decorate with. But the food products are by far the spotlight here- the newly famed and ND originated Dot's pretzels are of course sold here. There's locally based chocolates, cheese, jams, honey, hot sauce, peanut butter, popcorn and so much more. You can spend a lot of time just walking around the store and seeing all there is to offer. This was the perfect place to buy my FL friend some homegrown ND stuff. The young man working was also super helpful when I asked his opinion on what to get my friend (should have gotten his name!). I heard about Meats by John & Wayne; wanting something more than a typical supermarket meat selection, I went there...and was pleased! The selection is quite impressive. While there is a small selection of seafood, what really shines here is all the sausages! There's Cajun sausage, bratwursts, snack sticks, breakfast links, potato sausage and more! There's plenty of pork options, chicken, duck, lamb and buffalo! The service is pretty good as there have two registers active when it is really busy and the amount of traffic I saw in the store convinced me it was a good choice for meats!
