My band is on tour and I've been traveling the whole US and Canada. We stopped at many places to eat in the morning but today changed my life. I ended up picking the most plump, freshest, and most tastiest bagel that I've ever had in my life. Paired with the homemade apple juice it was a match made in heaven. Then I also got a bacon/egg sandwich that had the crispiest bacon I've had ever stuffed into another amazing EVERYThing bagel. If you're going here for just a bagel & schmear for breakfast, you should be ok. Based on my experience, I definitely advise avoiding a breakfast sandwich. I'm not sure if they use fresh real eggs or not, as they were weird texture. The bacon, fatty & under cooked was enough to almost make me gag. I brought the bacon issue up to one of the 2 guys behind the counter and felt they couldn't care less. At any rate, I settled on my standard: sausage, egg and cheese bagel. I get what Eric was saying about the egg hockey puck. Agree that it's clearly an egg patty thing they nuke in the microwave. But you know - sometimes that's exactly what you want, and my sandwich was delicious. Hubby got a garlic bagel absolutely covered in garlic crystals on the top with chive cream cheese. Super tasty but maybe not the best for a first date if you are hoping for a goodnight kiss. Price-wise, it was more than $10 for my bagel sandwich, his bagel and shcmear and a soda -- so not awesome. We just came to Boppa's for the very first time this morning and it was just what we wanted. The bagels were amazing with a large variety to choose from. We ended up getting some to take home as well. They had that beautiful chewy bagel texture and were full of whatever ingredients they were supposed to have, I got an Asiago cheese and my husband had the jalapeño cheddar. The olive cream cheese was fantastic too. Everyone one was friendly and helpful. If I could afford the carbs I would start each day with one of their toasted Asiago cheese bagels . It smelled delicious & you can tell right away that this is the place the locals crave! I was overwhelmed with options, but decided on the breakfast bagel with egg, cheese & bacon on an asiago bagel. I ordered it with jack cheese, but they used swiss (not a fan)- but it didn't even bother me. Once I took a bite, that sandwich wasn't leaving my hands just for the cheese! That bagel was the most delicious bagel I have ever had. I could only eat half of it & I have been dreaming about the other half I left behind- really! Read some pretty rough reviews but shoved ahead in spite of it. Was glad I did. Coming from downtown the drive was a bit much for s bagel. Just go to many of the coffee shops in the area, most carry Boppas Bagels. The shop is nestled in the back corner of a strip mall. Once inside the bagel trays are well stocked with fresh items, waiting to be plucked off sack by sack. Step up to middle of the counter and place your order or bring up your sacks to pay. Made to order meals are prepared by the staff and bought out to you. How this works when it gets busy is unknown. Customer service was just fine. The older owner is clearly a spitfire with her focus on keeping things moving and running a business. I could see how if someone walked up to the counter fumbling around in a purse or flip-flopping with decisions could end up on their backside out in the parking lot. Just know what you want and you will have nice meal. No good bagel place is alike. They all come with there quirks. Finding one that matches your own is the trick. Being that Fargo only offers one may be the real issue. I was curious to see if there would be any issues with delivery. Bagels arrived right on time and with a smile. All wrapped up with each type bagged separately. All fresh, made shortly before. Not day old stuff which concerned me just a bit. I do believe the staff may have missed an opportunity to up-sell me on the cream cheese. I requested 1-8oz plain and 3-5oz sizes. In hindsight 3-8oz and 2-5oz may have been better for two dozen bagels. Bumping up to four stars for a crew I can count on. read more

I had breakfast there the other day and while I really enjoy their bagels I didn't enjoy my sandwich. I had an everything bagel which was very large in size. When I got my sandwich the egg,cheese and Canadian bacon was buried inside the bagel barely visible and it took several bites to even hit the inside. The Canadian bacon was 1 small slice and the egg was equally as small. Given the increase in prices this sandwich was not worth the price. Very disappointed! Now let's talk about their coffee. I use to enjoy their breakfast blend but no longer. They have either changed brands or have no idea how to brew a pot of coffee. It was the most bitter tasting coffee and certainly did not compliment the sandwich as in past years. I will say the place was clean and bright, music was a little to loud though, and employees were very friendly. read more
