Mill Creek Firearms helped me with a gunbroker.com purchase and transfer. Great having a local FFL in Mill Creek. I would highly recommend.

I brought the gold membership. It is a bit costly but I would say it worth the price if you come regularly. It's also a great option for me as it includes the rental fees and I'd like to try different guns each time. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. One small thing to mention: They do provide shotguns for rental but the only standard option is KS7, which is cool if it's not jamming. I went to rent it twice and it both jammed. Staffs are nice as they switched Benelli M4 to me which was intended to be a "premium" rental. Would be nicer if they also provide 590/870/any other pump-action shotguns as standard options in the future. Apart from that, there's nothing I can complain. There was a time I went to the range with a friend who's shooting for the first time. Chris was very helpful and provides my friend with a quick but through intro and some other helps. For the shop: Great service. There's a young staff who is really friendly and helpful. No one would push you to make decisions here (which I like it) but you can always find helps if needed.

Imagine you're a repeat customer of Precise Shooter. They receive the item you ordered via FedEx,…read morebut refuse to help you even though there is only one other customer in the store. This is a true story of some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I arrived at Precise Shooter and saw the store was basically empty. I told them my SIG had arrived that day via FedEx. They asked if I had received the email, and I said no, but explained that I live an hour away, happened to be in the area, and was hoping they could do me a favor. The guy behind the register gave me pushback, but eventually said he would check. From his tone and expression, it was obvious that even looking was a huge bother. He went to the back for about 30 seconds and came back saying, "There is no way we can find your package. There are 20 boxes back there, and we can't open them all up to find yours." I said, "You don't have to open them all. I have the sender's name and tracking information right here. Could you use that to identify mine?" At that point, another staff member, who had been helping the only other customer, decided it was more important to argue with me. He came across like someone who needed to show customers who was in charge. He said, "We have a process, and we can't make exceptions for everyone. We get boxes every day." I said I was nearby and thought they might provide basic customer service. His response was, "We didn't ask you to come here!" I've never heard a retail employee say that before. I replied that I don't have to shop there either, but asked whether it made sense that there were almost no customers, at least three staff members present, and they still wouldn't help one of the only two customers there. Someone in the back could have looked during the time they spent arguing. He kept repeating that it would be hard to find the package and that they don't have time to do that for everyone. My response was, "Isn't that what you do in a retail store -- help your customers so you can make sales?" I could not understand why checking about 20 packages for the sender and tracking number was treated like an impossible task. Most people could do that in a few minutes. Helping customers seemed to be the lowest priority here. By then, two staff members had spent about 15 minutes arguing that it would take too much time, even though finding it likely would have taken 3-5 minutes. I asked if it made sense to spend all that time explaining why they couldn't help me when it could have already been resolved. That's when he got even more upset and started threatening to send my SIG back to the company. That felt like a pure power move. They refused to help a customer, then were apparently willing to pay to ship the item back just to make things harder for someone who had already purchased two pistols from them. This place seems to be all about ego and control. They were willing to argue for 20 minutes to avoid helping someone, then threaten to ship the item back to the factory out of spite. I'll get my SIG from another FFL -- no worries. Other FFLs I've worked with have started the paperwork the same day with no problem. Now that I've seen how they handle this, I'll make sure people know. This is truly the kind of gun store that alienates both new and experienced shooters. P.S. The owner emailed me that I am banned from the store and that they will send my SIG back to the factory, without ever speaking to me or asking for my side of the story. Good customer service starts from the top, and in this case, there is none at any level.

Then they were telling people trying to do a lawful transfer that they couldn't communicate during paperwork because of straw purchase concerns. Straw purchasesers typically don't come in for background checks. Then while trying to purchase a gun the staff because extremely rude after I followed instructions exactly as asked. The experience was surreal. Precise shooter has a long reputation for having "particular" sales staff and being hard to deal with and I knew this when I went in but I tried to overlook it. This industry is too challenging to accept stores that enjoy bullying their customers instead of providing great service.

Which they ( Tammy ) were very helpful in explaining the process on the phone. I came in to do my state mandated paperwork once the firearm arrived, had a great conversation again with Tammy, a couple of friendly customers and even got to pet the shop cat as well. He's cool. Anyways 9 days pass and I get a call, back ground is clear so I go in to receive my purchase. Got to talking with both Tammy & Jason were both clearly quite knowledgeable and eager to resolve some questions and bounce some ideas off of for the next 30-40 minutes. To this point every interaction has been pleasant and boils down to this... Personalized attention from people who are vested in helping you on your journey is rare. Sure You could go talk to some folks at (insert large box store here) or a place that sells guns in addition to range time with over priced ammo but this little Ma' & Pa' joint has character and soul. They genuinely seem to give more damns here than just about making a buck or if it is time to clock out. Because of that I know it makes it worth a drive to Bothell to check them out!
