Service is drive-up only and it was difficult to remember what was on the menu when they supported in-house dining. A printed menu was not available and I was told the online menus were not accurate. Whatever the case, I ordered what I could remember - fish and chips which were delivered to a picnic table outside the drive-up window. Fish was slightly undercooked and a bit raw in the center, but the portion size and flavor was good. The server was pleasant and efficient. The small outside area needed a good raking and general clean-up and improvement in ambience would help. Cute little place like walking into a bait shop with their fishing theme. The reason we stopped here is because they offer a variety of game burgers. We got the Elk. Burger was small like a McDonald's patty but very flavorful. We asked for an extra patty but it was $4.00 so we passed. Comes with potato salad but they were sold out so we had to settle for coldslaw which was just ok. Batter dipped onion rings were good but the battered fish was greasy. Wow. Came here after a day trip with my parents to try. The lady asked us if we were local, we told her no from Reno and she was so completely rude and disgusting towards us. I understand the coronavirus is a concern, but we were safe, we wore masks and are very clean. But she didn't need to treat like garbage. We didn't even eat the food, we told her Nevermind and left. There's not a hell of a lot to do in Quincy, but it's a nice drive on a weekend afternoon. I was reccomended this place because in addition to "fish and chips" they serve Wild Game burgers: Elk, Buffalo, Alligator, Kangaroo, etc. Oh, but I didn't try those. I tried the Volcano Burger: a half pound angus beef cheeseburger with jalapenos, habaneros, ghost chilis, and a homemade sauce. Going down it was fine, very tasty with a bit of heat. Three hours later I felt like there was a cagefight going on in my gut! Still, a very good burger...next time I'll try the gator one! The french fries are made from fresh cut potatoes, too. We stopped here while we were in Quincy and thought it was really good. The fish & chips were delicious, as was the deep-fried macaroni and cheese as well as the fried shrimp. Service was great and very helpful, they even helped us find a great local swimming hole. Next time we are in Quincy we are definitely stopping by here again. Great hole in the wall. Awesome burgers and fish and chips had a Teriyaki burger with a buffalo patty and the husband had a Texas Burger with a buffalo patty. Portion sizes are perfect and fish and chips were awesome. Two huge pieces of fish that were cooked to a golden brown. Fresh oil used on the fries and the fish ... and they must use different oil batches for each or they filter/ rotate it enough to keep the flavors from crossover of flavors.
