Signing in was a breeze, and despite my "novice bowler" status, the staff made me feel like I belonged in the big leagues. They expertly sized my hand, asked all the right questions (some of which I knew the answers to, some of which I answered with a confident nod and hoped for the best), and guided me to my perfect match--a Husker ball that caught my eye the second I walked in. As luck would have it, they had it in my size and a package deal: ball, bag, shoes, and towel for $250. A deal so good, it practically bowled me over. My husband got the same VIP treatment, and before long, we were both on our way to bowling glory. They took our new balls to the back to be drilled and even engraved them with our names (because why not make it official?). While we waited, we picked out our shoes--Brunswick Panda Dunks, as I like to call them. Stylish, functional, and ready to help us avoid the dreaded gutter life. Once our balls were done, we got to test them out in-store, rolling them right toward an employee (a bold move, but they seemed unfazed). Any adjustments were made on the spot, and we left knowing that future tweaks would be covered for free. Talk about customer service! All in all, our trip to Tom Kelley's was a perfect 300.
