I asked her to fix a small chip on my front tooth, and she suggested fixing a similar chip on the adjacent tooth. Afterward, I noticed that the tooth she "fixed" was noticeably shorter than all of my other teeth, which wasn't discussed or approved by me. At the time, I didn't realize the extent of the change, but when I returned to speak with her, she dismissed my concerns and insisted my tooth was already like that, which isn't true. She also claimed she only took a little bit off, but that small change made a big difference, and the tooth shouldn't have been altered at all without my consent. She didn't take responsibility for the mistake or offer a solution and left me talking to someone else without addressing the issue. I take great pride in my teeth, and I'm upset that my tooth was altered without my consent. It's noticeably shorter than the rest of my teeth, and the difference is very obvious. The lack of professionalism and empathy was disappointing, and I feel the tooth should never have been touched in the first place.

Talked to Lily 5/19 who told me the reimbursement request would be submitted and that I should expect the check 4-6 weeks. July 15th, sent text for status, no response. July 16th called and spoke to Lily who proceeds to tell me: she read my text and asked Barbara about it. It seems the lady who works remotely (they have a hard time reaching her) didn't submit the request. I then asked if I could speak w/Barbara and was told she's in a meeting. I then asked if there's a corp office she said there isn't one. She then told me looks like there was some kind of system problem so they need to resubmit the request and it will take the bank another 4-6 weeks to process it! I am beyond disgusted with the blame game. Dealing with this billing department has been horrific!! Now it's safe to say they're trying not pay me my money which isn't setting well with me at all. I didn't understand why they asked me about my insurance in the first place. Now I have to find another dentist and probably wait 2 months again. I don't know how good the doctor is, but they definitely don't care about their patients. Additionally, they work only on weekdays until 4pm. So, no working individuals are welcome, I guess.
