Time was of the essence for us as we'd already sold our other home, and had a baby due later in the summer. Our designer Mayerlin, and project manager Adam hit the ground running to get us to "substantial completion" as soon as humanly possible so we could move out of our temporary housing before baby arrived. Not only did they make it in time, they were early! The only time we fell behind was if I needed them to change something or added scope to the job and at every turn they were helpful, professional, and took pride in their work. While we still had pending projects after bringing baby home, they worked with us to keep disruptions to a minimum. A major selling point for us with SW was their reputation for doing what it takes to make clients happy and ensuring all employees and subcontractors who entered my home we background checked quality craftsmen. When they did the template, I sat there for three hours while they did it not one person asked me anything to come to find out. They couldn't speak English, and they couldn't understand any English. When they put the granite on the backsplash, it doesn't match any of the veining and the customer service is NILL. A gentleman came out to look at what was wrong said he would be in touch and I never heard from him again I reached out to him through text with no answer. Now I'm stuck hiring another granite company to repair their mistakes. Do not use this granite company. You will not be happy with their workmanship.

When their template person comes out and you talk about things you want, they nod along but will change things to what they want. If you don't pay attention and trust them you will sign something without knowing they changed something or didn't add something. Once you sign the document, you are stuck because they will use that against you when there is a problem with something. Their countertop cut is uneven and then say your cabinets must not be level and that is why the multiple seams don't line up correctly. They pride themselves on a seam you can barely see, but mine are like the ones they show as the competitors seam. We recently had our whole kitchen done through Lowe's and this is a subcontractor that is used. Learn from my mistake, if you use them make sure you have them explain the drawings before signing anything and make sure you are completely happy with the drawings before signing anything. I don't know which office we were dealing with but they have a 407 area code.

At our initial meeting with Kimberly, we were able to discuss ways to cut costs and she had some great suggestions. I made an appointment with Modern Plumbing for this Friday to have it removed plus to look into my water hammer issue. On Thursday I was called to see if I was available for an earlier day visit instead. Yes, I was available. Zach made it to my house and explained to me that the water hammer resistors I had in place needed to be moved from the back of the washing machine to the water faucet instead and lo and behold, the thumping stopped! Wonderful advice. We then discussed the second issue I had with removing the broken disposal and once the price was provided, I approved the work and he quickly got to it. He was very professional, left the entire area tidy and also gave me great insight into how the repiping would be done, which is something I need to save up for to get done. Zach tested the work he did several times to ensure that no leaking was happening, which is appreciated. It has been a good decade since I had them do work for me and once more, the work is satisfactory.
