Fun, well attended, great food trucks, micro brew beers, cocktails and non-alcohol beverages. Outdoor seating as well as plenty indoors. Great friendly and accommodating staff. Pet friendly. I want to love this place but I have not been able to find one of Millennial beers that I've ever liked in the 9 years I have been popping in there and trying time and time again. Thankfully they have brought in many from other breweries which is the only be I find myself enjoying when I do go, along with having cocktails and seltzers, bc their beer, not so much and I love me some breweries!! I get reined in by the idea of fun events, but every event ends up being so underwhelming. They make events sound fun(decent posts/marketing), I'll give them that, but when you walk in, you are like ohhh, this is it? Very minimal decorating. TV's are not adjusted to the theme of the night, music still regular music. We stopped in last year and gave it one more shot this year for Mardi Gras, TV's are playing what looks like a highway and no NOLA jazz, blues music or anything to make you feel like it is carnival season. No live music! It was just another night and throw on some beads and they claim it's a party. They used to have the CBD section but now that is gone. Pool table and all big games around the brewery were gone. Just a huge black curtain running the back of the brewery now and hiding the brew tanks. Few small games way in the corner that you don't even realize are there.. that we found a walking out. Food trucks, they advertise what food there will be, but the food trucks are not selling half of what they say will be served. Every event is like that. They still have their main menu with like 1 item geared towards an event and sadly most of the time the taste is eh. Hubby brought me here to get out of the house and because they had a small street vendor event. It was my first time coming to millennial. It was very hot outside but we grabbed bao buns from one of the vendors and went inside to eat them. We walked up to the bar to order and the bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab. The answer was simple. No thank you. There were no seats. There is a huge bar with zero seating. The place was packed with families with small kids most of whom were enjoying the A/C and eating food from the vendors. Very few people actually drinking beer. I then had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to use the bathroom which was absolutely disgusting. We have been to many breweries. This is not one we will be coming back to. The lack of seating, music and zero vibe did not make me want to hang out and enjoy a few cold beers. We have been wanting to come here for awhile and finally made it out! They had a fun event going for the 4th of May (Star Wars themed) plus lots of food trucks out front with a cinco de Mayo theme! Finally dragged the boyfriend with the temptation of sliders. Slight and flight night on Thursdays for $14. Which is a great deal. Dynamite food truck is amazing! Great service - had the sliders as advertised and the chicken slider won 1st place in my book then the pulled pork and then the burger gets last place. I want to try their others dishes next time. Five of us stop by Millennial to cool off and hang out after a day of golf and exercise in gym. As usual, there is plenty of parking around the brewery! Tonight's temperature is little low and on the chilly side around the high 50's and low 60's. There were numbers of patrons on large outside tent, but the inside seating quickly filled up! We ordered a round of flight with Millennial Lite, Dino DNA, Tripel Deke and Hoptain Planet to sample the local favorite. I enjoyed the Dino DNA but after a few sips, the cloudy Hoptain Planet is fine as well. Other member of party preferred the American Revolution and other IPA's. Wife ordered a diet Coke instead of local Flying Eagle Kombucha! The food truck on the weekend featured Never Mind Awesome Bar and Eatery. An offspring from the Cape Coral with the same name. The Philly Cheese, Lamb burgers and Quesadilla were excellent and well prepared. They are carrying the legacy of Shannon Yates, late owner and Chef of Never Mind at Cape Coral with fresh ingredients. A member of party remarked, "The best food truck in Fort Myers!" This Saturday night featured Virgil Cain, one man wonder band from New York with a lot of technological instruments - keyboard, guitars, violin and mixer! His clever lyrics, with arrangement took a style like Billy Joel. After a few songs, patrons were dancing! By the way, Virgil Cain is making his Florida Winter Tour from Bonita Springs to Sarasota. Ok soooooo I would definitely not ever come back here and not just because it's out of the way. We came today for their "90's Festival" / 7th Anniversary and it was very underwhelming. It would have been nice to have live or loud music instead it was just kind of a weird ambiance. Because it's a "festival" - they wouldn't do flights or even let you taste anything. I get it in theory if it's crowded, but I was the only one standing at the bar and asked if I could taste one of their funky specialty drinks before committing to a full cup and they said no??? So then she steered me away from a couple of flavors and it was fine. Overall we tried the American Pale Ale, the Jalapeño Pickle beer, Sour Apple Sour and Bohemian Raspberry. Everything was just average but the Raspberry was legitimately revolting - it's a thick "beer" with raspberry purée supposedly but it literally tastes like you're drinking throw up. Just don't order it. The best drinks we had were the Black Widow and Key Lime Cider which were canned. Awesome brewery in/near downtown ft myers. This was not far from Bullig and the butterfly estates. Outside they had a food truck offering burgers (and we noticed they did offer the impossible burger). Inside is very spacious and theyhadavarietyof drink options from mimosas with various fruit juices, beers, ciders, and cocktails. I tried thefrozencotton candy on tap- which tastes exactly like cotton candy and was delicious. My bf enjoyed an IPA. The service is good, staff were friendly. A short walk from downtown Fort Myers, Millennial is a fun warehouse style brewery bar with a good range of their own beers - most importantly, not focused too much in one style and offering a good range that most beer drinkers will find a few intriguing choices. As well as beer, they have a range of fruit juices for mimosas and a dedicated Kombucha bar sharing the premises - perfect for larger groups that might not comprise of beer fanatics. A decent amount of seating inside and out, some bar games and things like pool tables (I didn't spot pinball as mentioned in a previous review? Maybe gone, maybe I just didn't see!) as well as an area with a ring light and backdrop that kids seemed to love taking selfies in and kept them occupied. Dog friendly which always gets bonus points, and they are allowed inside as well. My friend said he was disappointed when he first came and they didn't brew their own beer, but it seems this was just temporary so he's now a happy customer too. We are from NY and love going to breweries at home and always like to tryout ones while on vacation. We chose to try the Millennial brewery. The inside is very large with lots of seating and table games, they even had beer pong set up. Outside there is a large tent with picnic tables. This brewery like most is dog friendly inside and out. We chose to sit outside since no-one was inside and it was a nice day. During our visit there was music playing through a speaker and there was a food truck. There is water inside for you or your pup. Bathrooms are nice, large and clean. There looks like a shop of some kind is available near the back but did not seem opened during our visit. My husband and I both tried different beers, but we both didn't care much for them and my husband is a big beer drinker. If we didn't have dinner plans then we would have stayed to try more. Millenial hosted an Asian Food Festival celebrating Asian and Pacific Island food early March. I know this review was a bit overdued but I was happy to see the brewery is more established since my last visit two years ago. We came across this event on FB and they had detailed info about the food and parking of the event. The county lot next door is open for free parking after 6pm. I met up with some friends at 6ish and it was already packed. They had a pretty good selection of food trucks and food vendors from vegan pizzas to ube macapuno ice cream. However by 8pm, some vendors already sold out and the food truck lines were long as 50 minutes wait. Since I got there early, I managed to get some baos and sake bombs. I look forward to coming back again for another event. read more

I am a fan of this place because they have my favorite beers and the vibe is a cool and friendly place to hang out. I love their "coffee and contemplation" coffee porter that is an excellent porter with coffee and cocoa notes. Then I tried their Bourbon Imperial Stout and I was blown away so much I had to get a growler of it to take home. The mix of people there is from young kids running around and having a great time playing to timers just catching up with friends. They do themed nights so there is always something happening there. One tip is that the food truck and food venders will run out of food on busy evenings, so go early and get a bite. Protip: visit on Tuesday for the FK Your Diet food truck. Try the cheese steak and Cuban sandwiches. (FK = Foster Kid. They spend 5% on helping kiddos). I tried a pint of the Clever Girl, which was just what I wanted: a refreshing, not-too-heavy, citrus-y IPA. Other samples of note: They got very creative for Christmas with an Eggnog stout, which reminded me of the coffee I was drinking all of last week (I used eggnog instead of half and half). They also had a sour cranberry seltzer for Christmas as well - Gruber's Last Stand. It was super good with the fatty meat-piles on the sandwiches Jeremiah and his food truck fed us. Looks like Flying Eagle Kombucha is worth a look, which appears to be a perma-popup inside the brewery. The decor is fantastic - I want the space mural in my garage. read more

Every time I try to go here these days they are either entirely closed for a private event or want you to pay $30 just to get in the door because they're hosting a "ticketed event." I've even been told immediately after being served a beer that I have to leave because a private event is about to start. I definitely would not recommend coming here - in all likelihood you'll end up needing to find somewhere else to go anyway after they turn you away. They simply don't want regular customers anymore. read more

I really want to like this place. The location is great, the staff is amazing, and they host fun events. The problem is that they are a craft brewery and their beers are mediocre at best. I tried the IPA, the Belgian triple, the white stout, an amber ale, and sampled some type of beer that tasted like pickle juice. None of the beers stood out as being really good. The Belgian, the stout and the ale were okay. I'm an IPA drinker and in my opinion their IPA was below average. The pickle beer made me gag. read more

Awesome place with friendly staff. We came on a night that wasn't busy and we practically had the whole place to ourselves we almost thought it was closed. They have arcade games that cost money but there is an ATM and change machine so there is no excuse as to why you can't play any games. There are pool tables as well. They are a bit smaller than usual but I guess that's to reserve space before when it does get busier. As for the beer, it is phenomenal. I had a $5 flight of five beers and my favorite was the Clever Girl IPA and my least favorite was the Winter Warmer. I'm an IPA kinda girl so the more hoppy the better. We were there before they opened but they already had people seated at the bar, and they were accommodating telling us that if we understood they were still opening - we were welcome to stay for a drink. I thought this was good business and nice accommodation. Having said that - we weren't impressed with their beers. They were all ok, but nothing spectacular. Perhaps we're beer snobs these days but have come to expect high standard from a renowned area brewery. They also had a food truck on site, but when I asked when they would be ready to serve - they told me it would be 5pm - we had gotten there a little after 3. I'm on point with a lot of the other reviews...good atmosphere, lots of potential, but beer needs improvement. As with most of my reviews, I'll start with parking. Call it the virgo in my. The logical question when going most places is, how difficult is it going to be for me to actually get there?? There are about 4 parking spots at the brewery, plus street parking. We found parking because it wasn't too busy, but on a busy night, I imagine this could become a headache. Once inside, it is a large open space. They have a mural on the wall, some TVs hung up, corn hole, and a few other forms of entertainment. We played cornhole, and had a good time doing so. The bar is on one end of thew warehouse, and the bathrooms on the other. The middle is a large open area where they can accommodate different uses and events. There was a food truck parked outside. Again, checking all the boxes for what you would want in a microbrewery. The only issue is the beer.. Our group tried a lot of the different options. Everything was fine, as in average, but as I am sitting here writing this, I can't even remember the style of beer it was besides dark. It must've been a stout or porter, but it was not memorable. It did not make me want to come back for more. After one, I stopped drinking because I just wasn't that into it. Its not you, its me..or something like that. When I think of craft beers, and the breweries, I can distinctly remember the greats. I can still taste the Belgian White at Lakefront, the Black Butte at Deschutes, the Cigar City Cracker, and the Funky Buddha options like Last Snow. To me, a great beer is one you can remember. There was just nothing special about the offerings at Millenial. Is it drinkable? Yes. Is it a fun place to hang out? Yes. Will I come back? Sure, if other people want to. Im not going out of my way for the beer though. If a fun craft brewery with live music, bar games, food trucks, and OK beer is your jam, check out Millenial. Maybe my palette just sucks. I checked out Millennial Brewing last year while visiting Fort Myers. Being from SFL, aesthetically, it's one of my favorites, located in a post-industrial building that's in the Downtown district and protrudes a fun, laid-back vibe. If I lived in the area, it would be one of my go-to hang outs to start the evening before moving on to the bars a few blocks down. The beers, for the most part, were solid and enjoyable. Out of the few breweries located through the Fort Myers area, Millennial, as stated above, is also the only one situated in the actual downtown part of the city limits. While it's not in the commercial part of downtown where you can find many of the known bars and clubs, Millennial's location is close enough to start the night, and far enough to have a chill experience on your own or with friends. I felt the sense of a back-yard party upon arriving there and entering through the open garage door. The layout is an open concept where the taproom blends in with the production area. It's a sizable space that's spread out (I think over 2,00 square feet), and can fit a ton of people. Parking is easy as there's both street and lots scattered about -- at least when were were there. The weather was gorgeous the late afternoon we visited, and, clearly a great place to people watch and have a good time. While we didn't take advantage of the food trucks on-site, the front of the lot can easily hold two. And with the traffic the brewery can receive, it makes sense. As for the beers, I had a flight of five when I was there. Some were solid, while others left me wondering what could have been. I started off with the Uncle Cam's Surprise sour ale, which had nice nodes of citrus. However, the Lighten Up weizenbock as disappointing, and seemed to live up to its name literally, being very watered down. The Get Stuffed English bitter tasted more like black tea than a English bitter, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. However, the last two made up for the formerly mentioned two with the Second Amendment brown ale and Coffee and Contemplation porter. Both were well-balanced beers, full-bodied with great finishes. Millennial would be one of the breweries I would visit again should I return to Fort Myers. Simply put, a great hang-out spot, with enough beers I found good to be worth repeating. read more
