[[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the open air venue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] GIANT pretzel, walk up/self service was super easy to have a large group and have a good time ... until it rained! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not enough covered areas![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cool spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Did not eat but saw others with food and it looked amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an outdoor venue with an elevated terrace to overlook the crowd and see straight-on for the bands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are plenty of bars available to order a drink. This place has been added to my list for my return.

Had a great night at Bay Street Yard! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its moatly an outdoor venue with lots of seating options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was an awesome live band playing when we arrived, then switched to a live DJ later on in the evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of TVs to catch your favorite sports.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food trucks to grab a bite. Bartenders were friendly and efficient on a busy Saturday night. Appreciate the local beer options on tap as well!

First stop of the night when bar hopping. It was kind of expensive... traveling here so I'm not sure if that is normal for the area but $60 for 2 drinks and shot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dj was really bad and only some weird guys were dancing haha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is an upstairs area which was fun the vibe could've been there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of seating and table tennis with bean bag toss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the outdoor vibe but just didn't make it for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went to Bay Street Yard, to see a group we like. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bay Street Yard is this small, hidden music venue. Perfect setting to kick back and listen to great music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sits just next to a large parking garage, so very convenient to parking. We will for sure go back to Bay Street Yard! Especially if they have the band Mayhem SWFL back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun fun night listening to Chasing Denver.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The venue has different musicians or a large tv for watching events so check out their website.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sitting is first come first serve which is mostly high top style with Adirondack style chairs close to the stage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are also some games to play.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For food there are three permanent food trucks. Asian, American and Mexican. Parking is easy as there's a garage nearby or street parking.

Opening day. As with any "opening day", it was crowded. Obviously not as crowded as it could have been - during season, but still plenty of people. Unfortunately, I don't think they were prepared for the crowd. They had "drinks menus" but when I went to the bar, they told me they were only making 5 special drinks. Unfortunately the drink my wife wanted was not one of the five. Food is offered through 3 "permanent" food trucks. I got nachos from one and wings from another. The wings took forever- over 20 minutes. But the food was good. They had a live band (not bad) and it looks like live music will be a staple, as they have a stage. Bars are crowded and undermanned. Hopefully this gets better. Bathrooms are interesting. I'm not sure if the "open door" is supposed to be like that. lol. Lots of seating, but again "undermanned". We sat there for over 30 minutes and no server ever came by. They did have servers - just not enough. It was almost like they had a "don't make eye contact" mind set. I'm sure (know) they were swamped, and the bars were probably not keeping up. I'm confident that they will get it together, and this place will be a great hangout. I look forward to going back "later".

Birria tacos. No cheese on middle one.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stumbled upon this place and glad we did. Was a good late afternoon kind of drink place with music. It's extremely casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bars r basically conex boxes that open up & u walk up to order a drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is from 2 food trucks - 1 that does Mexican (ironically said burgers on it) and 1 that does burgers (ironically said tacos on it). Ordered the birria street tacos for approx $18. Lije most street tacos, these r very small! Recommend getting without the cheese. It's overpowering & a mess, but the tacos r quite tasty without it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't recall the name of the guy who was playing , but he was great! Country singer up there w/his guitar. Would definitely go back to c him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bay Street yard is a great casual place to hang out w/some friends. They have corn hole & a relaxed atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's an upstairs as well, but we didn't go there. Think there was a private party day we went. If ur looking for a casual place yo stop for a drink, give it a try.

What an amazing addition to downtown Fort Myers. This place was awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I could sit here all day and enjoy a few drinks and watch football.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The set up that they have is perfect for any bands for any sports teams for anything you really looking for as long as you're looking to have a hang out and a few drinks with friends and family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I highly recommend you trying here if you like good beer, a good atmosphere and also they have some food trucks that were really good[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The bar tenders had no idea what the happy hour specials were. So in the end paid more bc they had no idea what they were doing. The handicap bathroom was out of order. Food trucks, one out of three closed. Very pricey. No one was eating here, just drinking. Music was good, but the big screen behind the musician (football game one) hurt my eyes! So I couldn't even look. BUT lots of fans and heaters to deal with the crazy Florida weather.

(kinda on the smaller side) i did end up getting a second one ($15 each). For apps we got the tuna cervichi and flatbread. (I do not eat raw tuna, so I have no option on that dish. But the rest of the table ate it up) The flat bread was great too. It had black olives, figs, tomatoes and lots of cheese. For dinner we each ordered something different. I got the crab cake stuffed Salmon with seasoned spinach and mashed topped with, what i think the waitress said was lobster sauce.. altho my friend that got the seafood risotto was supposed to have the same sauce on top but hers was a much more red color. The risotto was another great dish. It had scallops, big shrimps and muscles in it. Cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sicilian Penne. He said: It was a delicious pasta dish with sausage and cannellini beans. The Gorgonzola cheese was an amazing addition that really took the dish to the next level. Our server Sydney was great. She let us know they were short staffed some wait ataff and she may have been backed up (there was probably 6 tables in there at the time idk.. where I waitress i have a 12 table station, and its fast paced..) but she still a great job. The restaurant its self love nice after the renovations, but inqoukdnhave never known it was a finer dining place rather then a typical breakfast diner from the outside of it. Ill be back! There were other things on the menu I'd like to try. (Please, dont mind the photos, we were all just so excited to dig in i didn't remember to take pics till we were 1/4 of the way into eating)

His game plan was to…read morefigure out the perfect dinner spot where we could catch an epic Sanibel sunset, then still have enough time to roll over for a hallmark view of the July 4th fireworks. Mission accomplished. Lighthouse Waterfront is huge with a big dining rm on one side and another section closer to the left overlooking the outdoor deck sitting right on the water. If you're chasing sunset vibes, this deck is where it's at. We started with a dozen meaty oysters and a hot crab dip with crispy wontons to dip. For our main plates, hubs ordered the thick-cut bone-in pork chop and loved it while I went with the seasoned grilled swordfish. I had the Dubai Chocolate cocktail and I'll give them props for that pistachio rim and the dark chocolate drizzle.....that Hershey's syrup crap. The only downside was it could've packed a punch. But then again- between my recent trip to Miami/Ft Lauderdale and now Sanibel...I haven't had a drink that would know the shit out me here. No offense. Anyhow, to wrap things up, we shared a slice of key lime pie. That's basically mandatory when you're down here. It was good, but honestly, the real treat was watching that Sanibel sunset. Service was ok- I just wished our young server was more present. On the plus side, when he'd showed up, he made sure to help at any given moment. We finished dinner, headed out to the deck and soaked in every second of the sunset before making our way to catch the fireworks elsewhere.

Where to start. 1)Our servers were amazing. 2) Drinks - pathetic. $16.00 for a lime martini that tasted like a melted popsicle and was a total of 6 oz. Tasted no alcohol. 3) crab dip a 3 inch skillet of carb dip with 10 small pita chips. No taste at all and $19.00. 4) shrimp with garlic and butter over linguini - it was basically pho soup. $28.00. 5) and the best of all. Lobster Mac n cheese. It was macaroni with (I kid you not) seafood bisque over top and a small ramekin of Parmesan cheese $50.00. The man playing music (nice island vibe) in the corner was so loud I could not hear my husband across the table. In fact most asked to move to the other side but it was closed off or outside because it was so loud. Did I mention it was 95 degrees. 5 or so parties were seated after us, and while we were not at all in a hurry, every one of them received their meals prior to us and left before we received our food. Our server felt bad so she offered us some bread for the extra wait. (Shouldn't that be standard). We didn't complain and paid the over $150.00 bill plus a nice tip and the 3% charge for using a card. No manager came to ask how the meal was and at this point we were over it. Asked for a take home box and left. I can also tell you the menu was extremely limited. No crab dishes, no scallop dishes? A seafood restaurant not anymore? What happened? New management, owners? And yes we've been there since IAN so can't blame the hurricane. We will only visit Lobster Lady from now on. I sound like I just want to complain but I don't. I know it's off season and don't ever expect perfection. This was worse than horrible. Beware. It's not what it once was. Sadly! Sorry no pictures mostly out of shock but the water feature that used to be so picturesque outside was green algae.

Our server was ok and in general the service was good, maybe can improve a little on the timing and explanations provided but more than anything it was a little hard to get the attention of our server sometimes. We went for brunch and there were good options and food was average... the highlights of the meal were: The Sourdough bread with honey butter and preserves and the outdoor bar with delicious cocktails and the best bartender (Jackson). The farm part is also fun but is very small only a few animals. It's cool you can buy drinks and walk with them while you enjoy the farm. It was a fun activity to do on our vacation but if we want to do it again we might try to go for lunch or another farm with similar option.
