I've been going to Millennium for the last few months for a hip issue and a herniated L4 L5 disk in my spine. I was in a lot of pain in the beginning. Teddy, the owner and head PT, said I would improve and I wouldn't need any cortisone injections. He was right. Millennium has given me my life back. I do heat and electric stimulation followed my massage, stretching, and exercises. I also do the exercises at home between sessions. Millennium is a nice place. It's well run, clean, and friendly. It's run efficiently and rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes. I highly recommend. read more

I can't recommend Millennium PT highly enough. Everyone who works at this location as well as on the billing side is kind, warm, and professional, and focused on quality patient care. Dr. Teddy and Valeria have magic hands. Jessica at the front desk has a level of organization that is unmatched. I had spine surgery earlier this year and am still doing PT to get my strength back and feel like myself. My sessions at Millennium are calm, efficient, and most importantly, super effective. Every time I leave there I feel better. My only regret is that I wasted months of healing at another physical therapy clinic (a chain that was more like a glorified circuit gym where I spent 2 grueling hours per session doing pointless and sometimes counterproductive exercises that left me in pain, in a chaotic environment rather than a calm place of healing). If you are in the neighborhood or specifically looking for a physical therapist in the HSS network post-surgery, don't waste time, just go here. I received physical therapy at Millenium Physical Therapy in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, following bunion surgery. My husband had gone there,prior to my surgery, for a shoulder injury and had a positive experience. We were both treated by Latika Thakur, MS, PT. I knew I was in the hands of an expert when I met Latika. She was confident, competent, and sensitive. Most importantly, she was knowledgeable about the type of surgery I had and what the recovery process would entail on both a physical and emotional level. Latika took her time assessing and treating me. She was supportive, creative and encouraging with home exercises as well as with the excercises I did at Millennium. Latika also used state of the art equipment to assist in my complicated recovery. The rest of the team was also amazing. Dr.Teddy and Val Corelli, physical therapy assistant treated me when Latika was on vacation. The aids Jen, Irene, Amanda and Crystal were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Due to my difficulties with balancing, the entire team kept a close eye on me while I did my exercises. Jessica and Jackie always made it easy to schedule or reschedule an appointment. I was ALWAYS seen on time. Everyone at Millennium takes their job seriously. However, they also are able to laugh with each other as well as with their patients. I always looked forward to coming to Millennium. I was treated here for almost a year 2 to 3 times a week. Latika and the rest of the Millennium team became like family to me. I recovered from surgery, and resumed participating in physical activities I love. I'm gonna miss them. I give Millenium 5 stars. They are the best ! I had an acl and meniscus surgery. I was worried about my PT choice , cause everyone was talking of how important is the rehabilitation. Now three long months later I can surely tell that I have made a right decision to come here . Starting with Jessica who meets and greets you with warmest welcome . Continuing with Victoria who was always helping to get around . At first I couldn't even lift my leg myself. And tremendous work of Dr Teddy. Mentally and physically. If not for him I would probably still use crutches and braces . And last but not least Valeria and Latika , when I needed to reschedule and my doctor wasn't there they were here also helping me to get through this. Thank you guys all ! Ok. This time 0 starts. First time my review was removed. I got it ! Everyone wants to have 5 stars, but these five starts should be deserved . I got difficult extraction and got prescription from DDS Amrani( since yelp what's more details ). Ps after I shared experience w him, he was disappointed also. So my physical therapist ( do not remember her name) was absolutely last in my TMj problems and told me probably I need orthopedic specialist ! However many other therapist threat my problem very well!!!! Then, for $60 I can apply heat at home and listen to music also at home. Then, after I finished she just left wo any recommendation. Then, I asked her please give me some description what you have found. She- I don't know yet, but 90% TMj. Hmmm how can it be. Do not recommend. I have insurance for this place , but I am getting PT at location where I have to pay and I have my results. Hope I have enough details, Yelp!!!! read more

My first experience entering the place was feeling upbeat with music playing inside the office and gym. It was a very quick and easy process when signing up with the receptionist. The waiting time is never long and they actually see you on time. Valeria was my physical therapist, she was very informative and was patient when showing me the workouts. I love the rest of the staff, and how the girls made me feel very comfortable every time. I recommend this place and I know how hard it is to find a decent clean medical facility in Brooklyn. I have to start by saying physical therapy is not aways fun but the staff at Millennium make it as pleasant as possible! The doctors are very knowledgable. I have been here on two separate occasions for two unrelated issues and have always been treated well by the staff. I have only been seen by Dr. Neamonitis and he has always been professional. He is always willing to answer my questions. The assistants are all very sweet and helpful. The place is also spotless which is über important especially after visiting the other facilities in the area. read more

I've been to physical therapy before and I have to say this has been a very different experience. First of all is the space itself. If you're expecting the usual dingy office with fluorescent overhead lights, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the almost spa-like decor: recessed lighting, hardwood floors, warm colors and cozy design touches. No lying on an exam table in the middle of a room: here you'll be in a private cubicle with a curtain surrounding you during your treatment. The gym in the back is small but has what you need, and is spotlessly clean, like the rest of the area. More important than the decor, of course, is the therapy itself. "Dr. Teddy" as he is known, is a virtual medical encyclopedia of information, and if you're interested will tell you exactly which muscle is involved and what he can do to relieve pain and get you on the way to feeling better. He and his clinical staff are friendly yet professional, available for conversation if you're up for it while respecting your need for privacy. The front desk staff are also friendly and efficient, and will accommodate your schedule to the best of their ability. I had a no-fault insurance case but I'm sure they take most insurance. Considering that the same insurance will cover coming to Millenium and any of the lesser quality PT places in the area, it's just a natural choice to come here. read more

I started to come here because my girlfriend referred me here. The male therapist does a good job.Was totally disgusted after I heard them talking about us in the open. The female therapist with black hair and highlights was talking about how she didn't like my girlfriend . We kept coming here and ignored them. she kept making the whole experience for my girlfriend horrible. Always taking about her underneath her breath and to others. Giving her nasty looks and laughing about her. We had to stop coming here just disrespectful and disappointing that a place where one goes for help turns to be a place full of hatefulness. Sucks cause my therapist helped me out a lot. have to say something nice about Ashley the front desk she's very kind to us and everyone. We will be taking our business else where. read more

I was hurt on the job and needed surgery done on my left shoulder. I had attended physical therapy sessions before and after my surgery with great progress. My orthopedic surgeon had also agreed that the progress was astounding considering how much work i had done on my shoulder (acromioplasty and 2 anchors as well as some tissure removal). Im glad to say that after 4.5 months of post op therapy im at 75 percent mobility and in another 2 i should be back in the field. The staff and therapists are extremely helpful and accomodating everyone is very attentive to your needs and have great repore with their patients. read more

I've just recently completed a three month physical therapy program at Millennium and was very pleased with the service. I found everyone to be knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Dr. Latika Thakur who was my therapist took a great approach in working with me and in really listening to how and what I was feeling. Being someone who suffers from arthritis and has had one hip replaced, I've had my share of therapy over the years. Hands down Latika is the best physical therapist I ever worked with. With Latika's help we were able to hold off on having my other hip replaced. Over the course of treatment, I went from walking with a cane to working out four times a week. One of the best physical therapy offices in brooklyn. If you need physical therapy this is definitely the place to go to. I had inflamtion in the joints in both of my knees and i could hardly walk. Staff is amazing, very accommodating, they pretty much always run on schedule. Almost no wait time. Scheduling/rescheduling appointments has never been an issue.
