UPDATE 1/4/2026 - Before this, I have only ever written one bad review for an establishment. I am happy to say I can change my 1 Star review to a 4 Star. I realize things happen, and food can get messed up, or left out long enough to become cold before brought to the table. Any other evening, we would've happily waited for a new meal to be brought to us and given the establishment a second chance at showing us why they have their good reputation. Unfortunately, that particular night we were not able to do that. But, since all of this occurred two managers from Miller & Carter have reached out to me more than once to discuss this bad experience and work to rectify it. For me, good customer service goes a LONG way. They reimbursed us for the uneaten meal, apologized again for our negative experience, and invited us back to offer the hospitality and positive experience they are used to providing for their guests. Unfortunately for us, this was a once in a lifetime trip to Stratford Upon Avon, so we will not be able to take them up on the offer. But, I will now be wholeheartedly recommending them to family I have living nearby in England, and any friends that I know who travel there.
