The Power Speed Shop is a great cycle shop specializing in Harley-Davidon motorcycles. Josh is an…read moreawesome mechanic, and a good honest man. Josh has done several regular maintenance services (5k, 10k and 15k mile) on my 03 FLSTCI. I found this bike with 4k miles on it a couple of years ago, and Josh has maintained it ever since. This services were timely, my bike was clean with no leaks, and the bike always rode better when I got it back. When you want engine modifications and other modifications, Josh is your guy. Last year Josh upgraded my engine with a big bore kit (88" to 95"), performance cams and hydraulic cam tensioners with double scavenging high-volume oil pump. He also installed an auto-adjust primary chain adjuster. Currently, Josh is working with me on a handbag conversion on my Heritage Softail. Later in the year, it will be powder coating wheels, front end and some engine parts, as well as ceramic coating the exhaust. If you have a Harley-Davidson, The Power Speed Shop is where you have to go for routine services, repairs, upgrades and customizations. Give Josh a try for your next maintenance; you will be glad you did!

I picked up a new piston and was having trouble replacing it myself. By luck I ran across his shop. Reached out and he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I brought the brake master cylinder into him, went to the store down the road, came back and it was fixed. He gave great suggestions for bleeding the cylinder and then the brake lines. Brakes are back to normal. All good.

I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

I was a bit intimidated to walk in as I dont look like a stereotypical motorcyclist but the gentlemen was super friendly and fast with helping me. I brought in a broken clutch lever that I didnt have the right tools to fix it myself. He was super quick to fix it for me and didnt even charge me for the quick fix! Would def come back if I need anything to fix for my bike!

I called foul…read moreafter paying their "out the door maintenance check', only to find out the bike's fluids had not been touched in years, and the bike was filthy. When I spoke with their service department, they agreed to take care of it for me.. no apology or anything about the extra time out of my week to get to and from their shop. I should have bailed right then and there. Fast forward a few years. Nothing but issues for a bike I took excellent care of and only put a grand total of 1000 miles on. I won't get into too many details here, but they kept the bike for a little over 3 months this last spring, " trying" to resolve an issue I was having with the bike struggling to start and not running correctly when it did start. After three months I complained to the owner about the absurd bill I got after his team of " professional Triumph techs" could not figure out anything and just started throwing random parts at it. To be clear, there were 3 error codes... After 90 days they didn't even mention any of those codes! The owner did right by me in terms of having them remove most of the fees they tacked on for their bull$!#@ work. It was super irritating that I was still out a couple hundred bucks for an intake snorkel (What the actual F?) and spark plugs (which I had also just replaced one day before leaving it with them) The real final coffin nail for me was that the final call from the service guy was unacceptable and infuriating: "Given enough time, we probably could figure it out, but we just don't have time to deal with your bike right now". I have never been more angry or disappointed by a business. I essentially just threw 10K+ into a fire. I will never purchase a bike here again and I will instruct everyone I encounter to avoid them for bike purchases and especially repairs.
