Nevertheless, I will not be giving this place business. Pulled into the lot, multiple doors to a building, but none actually look like the entrance. Workers standing around outside and didn't seem bothered by a female going to every door trying to find one that isn't locked. They didn't ask if I needed help or anything. So, I drove my Jeep across the street and lo and behold, the owners came out and greeted me before I even got out the car! Glad I gave my money to a business that knows customer service rather than this shop who is clearly only about the money.

Sharing my personal experience in hopes it's no one else's…read more Big daddy's- I had my car inspected previously.. even one that I knew wouldn't pass that we just bought and was going to get a "what I need to fix to inspect" list. A young man worked there. He was lovely & very helpful. Upon returning with the check list completed for the new vehicle my niece was greeted by a rude man who said the list wasn't completed. (We did the work and I knew it was done, I also have a family member who owns a shop- unfortunately they don't do inspections) That was her experience & I was surprised to hear she was treated this way but I won't speak on it much bc it wasn't my experience. Fast forward to my car needing inspected this year. I greeted a cheerful "Goodmorning I'm here for an inspection" and was returned with a dry "you all need to get out" (referring to my 3 young daughters).. no biggie. That was expected but that completely set the tone for my experience. I waited in the office with my daughters and watched as he helped the man behind me. I'm not one to "cry" (you'll understand the quotes shortly) about being treated differently as a woman. Anyways he failed me for a phone holder that I popped right off my dash and a broken stud on my tire. He stated several times he'll double check and make sure it's done correctly & I don't "just screw something on it". And even dismissed my "oh that shouldn't be hard to fix" with a lovely comment of "it won't be for this". I left and promptly went to the auto store and bought the whopping $8 worth of parts I needed to fix the issue. When I got home to fix the issue it wasn't broken I returned this morning to a long line and decided to walk in and see if there was a way to have my rejection sticker amended. (I'm not entitled just looking for a quick fix to an issue that could have been avoided) The lovely manager told me I could CRY to the police and he'd be happy to have them come down to the shop himself. I was pretty shocked as I walked in calmly and wasn't being rude & even stated that when I received such cold feedback. I clarified I was just trying to get a passing sticker as I paid yesterday for a rejection over (now technically) a phone holder I could have popped off and a lug nut I would have been happy to pay for. -which is a normal thing to be offered for a small issue as such. He told me to go somewhere else which was absolutely the plan anyways. And yes I lost my shit at the end when I walked out. He was an asshole and he deserved to hear it. Idk what my point of this post is besides venting. But this is absolutely NOT in sweet little Berryville fashion. No my opinion won't close a business. I don't expect it too. I'm not on here to argue. But I absolutely didn't deserve the treatment I received.

The shop has a charming, "old school" setup--customers wait outside, and there's a friendly, small-town vibe where people chat and pass the time together. It felt like a little community hangout spot. If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend going on a cooler day or bringing a cold drink, especially in the summer. Since the seating is outdoors, it can get pretty warm. The staff and mechanics were very polite and respectful. Despite the heat, they worked efficiently and with great care. Since the appointment would take some time they gave me a car to use while they worked on my car, and the only cost was to refill the gas when I returned it that evening. Let me also add that they have free coffee and snacks in their waiting area, which is a really nice treat.

Recently, after a heat shield fell off my exhaust on a long drive, I brought the car in for repair. I had replaced the entire exhaust system just six months earlier, so I was surprised when they quoted nearly $1,000 for the heat shield, claiming it was not included in the prior work. After discussion, the manager agreed to cover it. However, this left me questioning the clarity of their previous service descriptions. While the car was in the shop, they recommended replacing the rear sway bar. The estimate instead referenced "rear suspension" at around $700, even though I had replaced the full suspension (front and rear) only two years ago. Again, they stated the prior work did not cover this component. These inconsistencies have seriously damaged my trust. When I returned to pick up the car, an employee handed me a broken key (the electronic component had detached). Staff then made rude comments, suggesting I find another service center and telling me they no longer wanted me as a customer. A manager joined the conversation and the interaction became confrontational. The main issues appear to be vague terminology, poor communication about what parts are included in repairs, and unprofessional handling of customer concerns. As someone who is not a car expert, I felt misled and no longer confident in the services I had paid for over time. This experience has cost them a long-time loyal customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
