I got to Quest this morning at 7:30 for a 7:40 appointment. I have blood work done every four…read moremonths, and during my last visit the technician took my prescriptions, scanned them in, and told me they now had them on file, so I wouldn't need to bring the physical paperwork again. When I got there today, they said they did not have my prescriptions on file. I explained what I had been told, and I had a copy at home and said go back and get it. At this point I was starving since I had to fast before the blood work. Instead of focusing on helping me and finding the scanned paperwork, the staff seemed more concerned with who had told me I didn't need the paperwork. That visit was four months ago, I don't remember the technician's name, and it's concerning that they don't have a record of who performed my last blood work. Unfortunately, Quest is one of the few options available when you need routine blood work. Going forward, I'll make sure to write down the technician's name and bring a physical copy of all prescriptions with me, even if I'm something else.

Before arriving, I drank about 2 liters of water to help with the process, but it made no difference. As soon as I was called in, I clearly explained to the technician that I consistently have difficulty with blood draws. I told her that my right arm does not produce blood and that my left arm is very difficult. In my last three visits, I was stuck at least three times each time, and they always had to call the most experienced staff member to complete the draw. I even mentioned that during my last visit, they had to recline me with my legs elevated and use a hot pack on my arm just to get it done. Based on that history, I respectfully asked if I could be assisted directly by the most experienced technician. Instead of listening, she became defensive and insisted she knew what she was doing. She proceeded anyway and, as expected, was unable to draw blood. She moved the needle around repeatedly and applied excessive pressure, causing unnecessary discomfort, and still did not succeed. When I reminded her that I had explained this beforehand, she blamed my veins, saying they are too small and "move." She then insisted on trying my right arm, which I had already clearly refused because it has never worked. I had to firmly repeat that I would not allow it. At that point, she became visibly irritated. Only after all of this did she finally bring in a more experienced staff member, who was able to draw my blood successfully. This is not an isolated incident. It has become a pattern at Quest, and I have already reported similar experiences in previous surveys. This situation is completely avoidable. My request is simple: please document in my profile that I am a difficult draw and should be handled by the most experienced technician available. This would prevent unnecessary pain, repeated needle sticks, and stressful interactions for both patients and staff. On top of all this, the same technician added my credit card to my profile and set it for automatic charges without my knowledge or consent. At no point did she ask for my permission or explain that she was doing this. This is completely unacceptable and a serious breach of trust.

During my first visit, the staff struggled to insert my IV properly, which made the procedure much more difficult and painful than it should have been. For my second appointment, it was canceled because the office had ordered the wrong infusion solution and didn't have the medication they needed. Today was even worse. I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to find out that I wasn't even on the schedule. No one called or notified me in advance that my visit wouldn't happen. I wasted my time coming here for nothing. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially in a medical facility where patients rely on timely and professional care. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves communication, scheduling, and patient care so others don't have to go through the same experience.

The waiting area was good and very relaxing. The problem? The 1 lady standing there didn't have an appointment and ended up being crazy and wasting like 40 minutes going insane about getting a cholesterol test results that day. She kept making the front desk girl call the lab, call the courier, call her manager, just absolute insanity. Finally the crazy lady came to her senses and felt bad and told front desk girl to draw my blood. But the front desk girl should have done mine first on her own, then returned to the crazy lady. The blood draw was fine, the front desk girl was nice, and I got my results in a timely manner (I did not insist on getting my results on a Saturday ). I would have given 5 stars had it not been for that. They should have had another phlebotomist there and again, my appointment should have been handled first. I wouldn't have been as irritated had I just walked in with no appointment.

I was looking for an estimate on 17 different lab tests as I do not have insurance, and despite the office already being closed, she took the time to help me and provided the full estimate right then and there. She TYPED each 17 test code on the computer! I've honestly never experienced that level of service before. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. I really wish I had gotten her name, because she absolutely deserves a raise and recognition for going above and beyond. Huge thanks to her and to LabCorp for having such amazing staff. It feels as though candidates are being kept as a backup plan instead of being treated with the respect they deserve. Sweet, personable, and got my blood drawn the first time and quickly without hurting me. I arrived right on time for my appointment and was taken back straight away, and back out the door less than 5 minutes later. Most of my visits usually go like this. This is great when fasting and ready to go and get my food and coffee! It's also located in a busy parking lot right next to Target which is convenient. My only critique is that there is no person up front to speak to, so if you have a question or need to use the restroom you have to attack the person who is calling the next victim, er, I mean patient. But there is a screen showing how many people are ahead of you and next which is nice. And they don't have the full name for PHI purposes. I will continue to come here for the foreseeable future!

Usually when I go to a healthcare professional for the first time they basically cross off a check list and leave. After a 30 minute wait outside and another 30 minute wait in the examination room LOL. Which leads me into another highlight- the service was quick and efficient. LOVED THAT. All in all, this office treated me like I am a regular of theirs for years and gave me pretty spectacular service. Going to a clinic for your health care needs is extremely personal and you have to find a place that fits your needs. Often times they will not answer the phone or send you to voicemail despite being open. Maybe don't work in this field if you can't manage a phone call for a prescription update without being sarcastic, pointed, and nasty.
