Following my separation from the service and the delays caused by COVID, I was left without access to proper dental care and in urgent need of help. I had multiple cavities, worn-down teeth from grinding, and needed crowns as well as a retainer to protect what was left of my smile. With so much work needed, I was extremely nervous about finding the right dentist. Fortunately, after reading countless positive reviews and receiving strong recommendations from friends and family in the Houston area, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Allon. I am incredibly thankful that I did. From the moment I walked into her practice, I was met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Dr. Allon and her staff made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Whether it was a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, I always felt like I was in the best hands. Here they told me I needed Invisalign, and also was told they could break at any time. They called me and email me several times to see when I was going to make my appointment, I felt pressure by a sales person. My husband went for a cleaning and he didn't like the approach either with something they insisted he needed to be done. I decided to go for a second opinion to a different dentist, the diagnosis was the same as my dentist back in California. And now I only have to wear a guard. And she said my teeth are not even near to break. 1000's of $$ different approach.

So I have had quite a bit of dental work here. 4 implants total. I have never experienced…read morerudeness here, in fact they have been very helpful and pleasant. There have been a few hiccups which they have resolved when I spoke with them. I have a really big fear of dental work. When I first started with treatment I had 2 failed crowns that had to have pulled, one of my back teeth was very difficult to get out I think because the root was too long or something. However the attempt to pull that tooth out was very painful and could not seem to be numbed as well as the other side. They finally called in someone to help and it worked, but it was very painful and added to my anxiety. After those implants were complete I had a front tooth break and needed both front teeth replaced. The financial person, Jollee was very helpful I had seen her at my first visit and she worked with my insurance and me to understand everything financially. When moving to my next procedures Jollee had moved "across" the street to their surgical center, so I had spoken with someone else and that experience was not as clear cut as Jollee, when I had my front tooth experience Jollee was back thank goodness and helped me understand my previous quotes and everything financially up to date. She is pleasant, kind and helpful. I also spoke with her about some of my previous experience with anxiety and why and she offered nitrous oxide and it was extremely helpful. It would be helpful to have an after visit summary as most of the time my anxiety is so high I have very little comprehension after the surgeries. My partner was always there thank goodness and they were able to give her my care plan. Dr. Pham was my initial dentist and now is Dr. Das, all the dentist/ surgeons have been helpful and kind. The environment is very clean and pleasant. I do recommend Clear Lake Dental. A lot of concerns can be alleviated by asking questions until everyone is clear on the expected outcome. If they offer a dental plan outside of your budget say no, and see if there is a less expensive plan. I did not give a 5 star because right now I have been waiting over a week for confirmation about a balance due. I don't want to get a text about a balance due without reviewing a statement. So hopefully they will send via email as I have asked via text and email.

I came here after a failed root canal retreat and an infected tooth that wasn't having it…read more My initial appointment was maybe 5 minutes long and after Dr. Anton (Sr.) gave it a look, he quickly said yep, it's got to go and that we would get scheduled for the actual procedure. I was ready to get it done, but I understand schedules. They were able to get me in two days later - early in the morning with Dr. Anton (Jr.) and when I arrived they were ready for me within minutes. I went to the back, was introduced to the team and given an overview of how it would all go. They asked if I was ready and within 5 minutes, we were done. I didn't have any sedation so I was able to get in and out and also drive myself. Both Dr. Anton Sr, and Dr. Anton Jr were very friendly and professional. The nurses/assistants were as well. I was given the number to call if I had any issues and sent on my way with a care pack including a fancy head wrap ice pack. While I certainly don't plan on having any more teeth extracted, I would definitely recommend Dr's Anton and their team to anyone who needs their service.

Called the office to forward my Xray's to my periodontist and 2 days after it was not done by the office staff, have to call them to send it again. Ask for Dr. Gordon to talk to me and was told too busy, so I left my cell number to call to voice my concern directly to Dr. Gordon as of this writing/moment have not received any call back. Periodontist scheduled to show up at this dental office only once a month, so if you need immediate attention good luck.

Whoever is doing their billing fails to communicate. We had several conversations about billing to…read morefind out they had overbilled us and we now had a credit with them. I'd prefer they do their job rather than crediting us months after the service. We received a letter explaining it months after the fact. So how are we to know that you are charging correctly?! Their staff is not there to provide a service. I became a patient with them and explained how sensitive my teeth were. We, myself and Dr. Hannah Dickson, agreed on how to proceed with the cleaning. I needed a new nightguard and she instructed me it would be $200 for a hard night guard, not the soft one that I had. I wanted a replacement, soft like I had and was pretty much told they don't like doing that. It was hard or nothing. I agreed to the hard one, received it, and they fitted it. It was so hard that it suctioned to my teeth. It was uncomfortable and risked a cap that I have on my teeth. So I stopped using it. In 6 months, I went back for my next cleaning. I again requested the same process used in my prior cleaning. I was told that we didn't the process to treat for my sensitive teeth. Thankfully I was insistent and they reviewed my records to see I was correct before proceeding. We once again discussed the night guard and I insisted on a soft one. I was told it would be another $200 for the mold. I was not treated as if I had any part in my treatment plan or really as if my opinion on treatment mattered. I have spoken to their office manager several times, each time looking for clarity and each time met with rudeness and the attitude that she is doing me a favor. My advice is to find a different dentist, different office.
