I found brass castle salvage yard who quoted me a very reasonable price for a used motor. I asked him if they installed them and he mentioned that there was a mechanic shop behind him that will do the install. In my head I'm saying yea OK this is to good to be true. Well I dropped the car off the following Monday 6/29/2020 and received a call Wednesday 7/1/2020 two days later saying my car was complete. I dropped my wife's truck off when I picked up the car to have a issue looked at that other mechanics could not figure out since there was no check engine light on. Well the next day I got a call saying the truck is fixed and ready to be picked up. Both vehicles are running great and couldn't be happier. Good mechanics are very hard to find. My first time here was with my 2008 Dodge Charger which went through a flash flood a few years ago and was saved then had a pistol blow through the engine. J and J installed a working refurbished engine which extended my Charger's years with me. This recent time was a couple weeks ago where i brought my Ram 1500 with an aftermarket bumper to J and j to see if they can fabricate it on since i ordered it off of Amazon and the bumper was for a Chevy. J and J did one better than welding the bumper on by bolting it in place with bolts they had or ordered. When i got my truck back i was expecting a weld job and a bumper that will have to be sold with the truck when I'm ready to sell. With the bolts i can now take the bumper off if needed. J and J saved me a lot of stress and time with both my vehicles. They have so much knowledge with any vehicle and respect with their customers along with amazing service.

I have brought my fleet to John for about ten months, and with any vehicle they gave back to me,"stating it had be repaired," I would have to bring it back for the same issues within hours, sometimes minutes . They would keep the vehicle for a few more days again, state it had been repaired again and yes, you guessed it I'd make a u turn in his lot and show them different. The vehicle is still not repaired correctly. This was a common occurrence with any vehicle we brought to have serviced, but after about three four or five tries ultimately the vehicle was repaired. The '" m.o" over at J and J, is replace as many parts as you can, something is bound to fix the problem, which is fine I guess ...... But not at the customers expense. Parts vehicle didn't need after his staff's guessing games which made no improvement to the vehicle stayed in the vehicle and the customer was charged for it anyway, that's right, charged for parts and services you didn't even need. John seems to be a nice guy and he's likable so you let your guard down a bit and that's when he's got you. He believes in Cart blanc repairs whatever it takes and however much the invoice comes to, your responsible for the bill. Never any estimate given no authorization to do the job, and never any idea what is wrong or what the repair may cost, just leave it to me and I'll get it fixed one way or another even if it takes two to three months. From a tire needing to be plugged to a simple brake job and oh let's not forget about the $13,000.00 fuel pump which was so grossly misdiagnosed. John get some certified techs in that shop rather than street mechanic and votek boys with a screwdriver and hammer set and maybe your reputation within the town and the industry will change for the better. That's free advice, I strongly recommend you take it before things really spread like wild fire especially the part when you charge to do things and charge for changing parts that were never even touched, that's another no no John boy

Everyone I know said she got charged way too much for what was done, but that's not the worst of it.... Within hours of picking up her car, she suddenly had a significant leak. When she took it back in, he made up some nonsense about where the leak was coming from and took another $90 from her. My 80 year old mother said over and over again that this was unacceptable and caused by him, but he wouldn't budge without more money from her. She's retired & on a fixed income. Paying the $120 for the brake work was a big enough expense for her, but to add an additional $90 for something caused/created by him was crippling. FOLLOW-UP: The work Brinton did on her brakes didn't even last 10 days. The brakes are squealing again like nothing was ever done to them. $120 paid for NOTHING.

As per Amazon the price for 2 arm Controllers is 149$ and sway bar links are 30-41$ each for my car . He charged 143.43$ for each arm controllers- total- 286.86 He charged me 60.27$ each for sway bar links and it's costing around 31-40$ each -total - 120.54$ . Plus I have paid 400$ for his labour .He says That this is How he earns money -Whatever he wants to charge ,He will charge .His suppliers are best and rest other shop is also worst Even Auto Zone.I really dont know what kind of Person he is.
