After installing the fuel injector they advised there was problems with the piston or rings. I trued to talk to them to find out if they installed the fuel injector wrong and caused the damage but they don't take calls. Their voicemail says to text them. So you text, but they either don't respond or just give a limited self serving response. I went there to pick up the car to take it to another mechanic and they refused to advise if the car is safe to operate, refuse to discuss the work they did or their misdiagnosis. They advised they will not release the car without full payment, When I tried to pay them via a check, they advised they do not accept checks but no where do they stare such prior to pick up. They want cash, Zelle or a credit card and if you use a credit card you have to pay a 3 percent fee. Then they require you to sign their self serving summary after payment or they "Will void out the payment" and refuse to give you the keys. I wrote on their document "disputed" and that I reserved the right to sue them. They refused to accept what I wrote - I had to get the local police involved just to get the car back that I fully paid them for. ---// it was such a crazy experience I told them I was going to record it on my phone and they said the they will not talk at all. I ended up changing the transmission cooler because I noticed it only struggled to get in gear when hot. Anyways two years later same Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same trans and it shifts perfect and is still going. Maybe it was an honest mistake, what annoys me more is they performed a trans service without my permission, and when they did they striped 3 of the bolts on the pan, I am sure they used an impact gun. The pan leaks now. I don't live in NJ anymore, but I know the shop as it has been there for years. I just wanted to take the time out to write this as I thought it could be useful to others looking to get a diagnosis.

In the last 8 months, Norbert has now seen my Nissan Rogue for oil changes, a grinding sound near my tires when I turned the wheel, and the AC that stopped working. Not only were my appointments scheduled in reasonable time, prior to doing any work or making any replacements in my car, he called to explain what was specifically wrong, how he could fix it, and what it would cost. I am not a car person, but the details and breakdown that he provided to me in simple terms were greatly appreciated, and I felt his pricing was very reasonable. His solution for the grinding issues was something that I had forgotten I'd been told about by another mechanic 1.5 years ago and the AC issue was a common problem in Nissan Rogue. All in all, I felt his was truthful and not scamming me. I had my car back within the same day for each service and after months, I have not run into any problems with the issues he handled.
