The office, overall, isn't fancy and doesn't have the newest of the newest technology however their quality of service, assistants, front desk staff and the doctor himself have made orthodontic treatment, as an adult, as much of a delight as it can be. This update is being posted as I reach the end of my first year in treatment (1 down, 1 to go!). I had an overbite with crowding for 20 years (I'm in my early 30s) so the initial treatment process wasn't the most comfortable with teeth shifting and all. Within this time I have had no pokey wires, no loose brackets, no mouth sores, nothing negative to report. The office assistants at the front desk are always friendly and greet you upon entering and leaving. The orthodontic assistants are always friendly with any questions you have and if it's something they don't have the answer to they make sure to direct you to the doctor. I have received tons of compliments already with how far my orthodontic treatment has progressed - even when I relay my progress info with my old ortho co-workers where I used to work! They have seen my braces change with the seasons and with holidays and they have seen me through a lot. Finally, the day came where I graduated into a perfect fitting clear retainer and I left their office equipped with a bag of once illegal popcorn and candy and firm instructions on how to use my retainer. I will be back for a few checkups but moving forward I am fully invested in myself and my smile and I don't think I could have possibly found a better place to work on my self worth. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and when I asked someone about their honest opinion on whether or not I should go with invisalign or metal braces, she was forthcoming with her honest opinion (get the metal--go with the traditional). Dr. Maher herself has quite the educational resume and has been in business for many years. The office itself was quite spacious and welcoming and had lots of natural light. The technology was all up to date and everyone seemed to be very competent and reliable.

This not only caused pain but also added cost of having a competent orthodontist fix the problem as well as additional and expensive specialized dental laser treatments to fix her gums. The office staff only cared about keeping it all quiet rather than helping her which was rather unprofessional and borderline disgusting behavior. They recently sent me a letter stating that they do not expect to hear from me again and won't cover the cost of the laser treatment but I can and will always share our devastating and painful experience. And honestly, the unprofessional attitude of the office staff provides an experience that would make me rather not hear from them again. I hope you, the "human consumer" will make the correct decision when choosing Orthodontic care for your children.

One of my upper right tooth is hiding behind my front two teeth, bottom teeth not so straight, and failed retainer, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. I was dumb back in Dec 2020 so I just okay then left. But now I know that I should've voice myself back then because I went to Minnesota Orthodontist today and they told me I can ask for a refund back, which I doubt they'll refund my unsatisfied result. After the work is complete, they are diligent about scheduling regular follow-ups to ensure that retainers are working as expected. She brought it to the attention of the staff and they suggested that we allow them to advocate on our behalf. He left his retainers in his college apartment in Pittsburgh, and he's leaving for an internship in Silicon Valley, CA, in 10 days. Hensler & Kocian came through big time. My teeth have been a large insecurity of mine starting at a young age so I know my expectations are extremely nit picky and tedious to tend to, on top of whoever is working with me has to work around my prior dental trauma of past dental staff being too rough and not listening / proceeding even after I've expressed my pain tolerance being reached. After expressing my concerns and asking to stick with the same kind woman who had assisted me a couple of times, Tressa has gone above and beyond to ensure we schedule my appointments to match the days she is in office because I dislike having new technicians in fear not having all of my concerns heard or remembered correctly. She thoroughly explains all of the procedures being done and really makes sure she understands my concerns and brings them all up to Dr. B, who is always able to ease my anxiety and reassure me to trust the process. Tressa is very confident in her field and has a positive attitude every time we interact.
