I was overwhelmed with how positive all of them were and I thought to myself they had to be paid for those or they're fake. However, I decided to check them out. Like a lot of people, I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. I was nervous and thought I was being punk'd from the reviews. It turns out the reviews were very real and I had a great experience. The staff and the dentist were amazing and they never made me feel bad about any issues I may have had. I never felt dread when I had to go to the dentist and I'm actually really bummed I won't be able to go to them now that I've moved states. At Snelling Ave Dental, I have always felt welcomed being there from checking in at the front desk to sitting in the patient's chair. Everyone is extremely friendly and loves chatting with patients when they're up for it. (Pro tip: Talk about food. They LOVE to try new foods and share their foodie experiences.) I've visited here for a total of 3-4 times over one year, and I like how seriously they take their work here. During checkups, the doctor informs me of ways to improve my brushing and the spots that might need more attention. Something that's super simple, but I've never been told by a dentist what spots I haven't been reaching. Besides checkups, I also had a mouthguard fitted because I constantly clench my teeth when I'm stressed. It was a pain-free process, and they checked my insurance coverage and gave me a quoted price before initiating the whole process. Their communication is amazing and there was no confusion. I'm really sad that I can no longer go to Snelling Ave Dental because I moved out-of-state recently, but I'm so happy that I was able to find a dentist that I was satisfied with.

I'm really impressed with Personal Care Dentistry after being a patient at Park Dental for years. The hygienists are lovely people (shout out to Brianne, if I remember her name correctly, she's amazing), and mostly good communicators. I had to get my permanent retainer removed, and they offered a much more reasonable price for the work, including replacing it with a better version. They recently made huge renovations to their clinic (thanks to building equipment malfunction on an upper level), so it's very new and clean. They do charge extra for credit cards, which can be a lot when the bill is so large (as it often is with the lack of dental insurance coverage. Believe me, root canals aren't easy! Imagine snaking a .6mm clogged drain, upside down, looking through a mirror. Not to mention people are terrified of getting root canals, but the horror stories you hear are of the toothache that made you need one, not the actual procedure. Yes, we dentists are creepily noisy, it's hard holding your mouth open, etc, but the procedure was completely painless and afterwards, I had some nice hot coffee, and later some ice water, forgetting that I no longer had to contort my tongue to cover up my previously painful tooth! When I went back for the procedure after a quick X-ray of my teeth and explanation of the process they said it would take 5 to 10 minutes so I went without the anesthesia. They put the numbing in my mouth which stung for just a moment but went away right after. Dr. Jason Jenny they said his name was came in they told me to open up. I felt a little bit of pressure but no pain at all and BOOM! My wisdom tooth was out in 5 seconds before I even noticed. I saw them pull out a white thing out of the corner of my eye. I was like, "Is that my tooth?" And I didn't need the graft that may have been possible. Numbing before the needle made it painless. We got on the subject of his being Scottish which led to Scottish singers and bands. Bay City Rollers anyone? Turns out he was a DJ years back. How many people are smiling after this procedure? I was. His staff are as cool as he is.
