The employee approached me quickly and began browsing but my head starting pounding from the intense fragrance diffuser pumping out a strong scent. Not sure why this would be needed in a lighting store. Found some cool led lighting but had to leave from the scent and unexpectedly cut my shopping experience short.

He also gave me the space to look around, didn't hover over me. Great start. I looked around and they have a great selection. Very unique items which is refreshing. I saw one dining fixture that I really liked but it would be way too big for the dining room. Otherwise, not much else I wanted in that Departme t. I did see one light that is really beautiful. It comes in two sizes so I Will probably buy it in each size. One for a bathroom and the smaller one for the guest bathroom. I was told for returns there is a 30% restocking fee if you do not choose something else. I was also told they always have a 40% off sale. That was surprising. This is a great store for all your lighting needs.

They installed a ceiling fan for me and I cannot figure a single thing they did wrong or even…read moremarginally. The job was perfect! And, in doing it the installer was on time, polite, cleaned up the mess, personable, etc. The price bid by "My Electrical Genie" was offered right away - they were the first to respond to my listing. And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.

I shopped…read moreonline with my husband so by the time we walked into the store, we recognized the styles we saw on luxury design sites, etc. We were delighted by the choices so it was great to have Laura give us a tour. She left us to shop on our own when she saw we were dragging one another from fixture to fixture! We turned the corner and as soon as we saw it we knew it was THE one. The store was closing so we returned the next day, still in love with the light, and ordered it. Laura explained the details about the Austrian crystal and quality of the Tomia 'Ellie' fixture. We were so excited that we floated out of the store and returned 3 days later to pick it up. The guy at the warehouse behind the building was super nice and helped load the enormous box into the backseat. The day after we got the fixture, Marvin from My Electrical Genie installed it and we all stood back in amazement. The fixture is even more beautiful than when surrounded by all the other fixtures in the store. It is exactly what we wanted - contemporary, crystal, linear with curves and bright. Done. One store and one knowledgeable, smart and friendly salesperson equals a new fixture that lights us up!

Beautiful Things Lighting had the most aesthetically pleasing and quality items without 'breaking the bank' or being too modern. Kathy Caldwell, our liaison at the store, was wonderful. As we discussed various items, she was able to quickly hone in on what we were looking for. Even the final price that we were able to pay was on target and in budget. I recommend at least seeing what they have and speaking with a consultant.
