Never again! We will always buy from Northwoods - they are a great value for what you get. A beautiful tree that lasts from Thanksgiving, through Christmas, and well into January! There are acres of trees to choose from, with several different types of pines and firs. They allow you to come out late October or early November to tag your tree when the weather is still nice. Then you can come back and pick it up closer to Christmas. When you come to pick up your tree, you take a mat and saw and head out to cut it down! What a fun family tradition! After you have brought it back for them to shake and bundle, there are candy canes on the Christmas tree inside for the kids. Super fun place, great memories, highly recommend!

Wanted a Bonsai Plant, but had no luck in finding something similar like the one that "bit the…read moredust." However, several young assistants tried to help me find a substitute for what I needed. The plant selected was colorful and would "fit" nicely in the space allocated. I am still surprised at all the beautiful greenery that they still have. Go in and take a peek, and maybe you too might find a last minute arrangement before summer turns to fall.

The grounds were huge; the activities & games for the children, the goats, the slides, and all of the treats sold there in the store were quite impressive!! Arrive early to beat the crowds and for parking. Staff was very kind and their recommendations were helpful. $15 a person is really nothing for the amount of fun and memories in the making we had. Those flower fields were so gorgeous as well!!

The time that I came I got a flight of their alcoholic ciders which were delicious (the blackberry was my fave) and we also got a quick hay ride around the place. They have a nice gift shop as well with a lot of yummy goods and some little souvenirs. I definitely would recommend and want to go back and bring my nieces and nephews to take part in some of the other activities. I think some of the other kid activities might cost money but for this trip the only things I paid for were the goods I received (drinks and gift shop products) which was awesome compared to other places I've been.

I have enjoyed going to The Attic in the past. However, the consignment reimbursement process is…read morequestionable. We dropped off a number of items last year for consignment. I was under the impression that anything sold would be reflected as a store credit to be used at our discretion. I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to buy some dishes and asked to use my credit. I was informed that there was no credit and that a check had been issued, that is now expired. I had a check...when?? That was not at all clear and I was not notified. I sent a message and received a call from the store about the issue, and nothing will be done. Not even a hint at a possible solution besides too bad, but the check is expired, nothing more. I asked if people are notified about consignment checks and they are NOT. The checks are put in a drawer and removed upon expiration if they weren't picked up. Even if I misunderstood, shouldn't customers be notified of money they are owed for personal items sold? I'm surprised that no message is ever sent. So, I gave my items to the store for free. My patronage must be very low priority. Questionable business practice and extremely frustrating.

Terrible experience here. My husband just wanted to look at plants, I chased our 6 and 3 year old…read morearound the store and stopped them from touching things and giggling and running and was doing my best to get them to behave, but was getting constant dirty looks from one of the cashiers, a grey haired elderly woman who was sweeping up. As we were leaving I said "we didn't really appreciate all the dirty looks we were getting, bye." And this cashier followed us out to berate us and tell us "if you had better control over your children[she wouldn't be giving us dirty looks]" I said " ma'am both my kids have ADHD I was trying my best what do you want me to do? Never take them in public?" And she continued to berate us as we were walking to the parking lot, she literally didn't need to do any of that, she could have just taken the feedback and not said anything as we were already out the door as I was saying it, but no, she felt the need to give her judgment at what terrible parents we apparently are. If she has adult children I'd definitely understand why they no longer speak to her, but I'm sure it's more likely with how bitter and unhappy she is that she doesn't have a family at all. DO NOT COME HERE WITH KIDS! These people clearly only want adult customers as all kids can't be perfectly behaved all the time and that's what the staff members who work here expect. I'd give zero stars if I could and return what we did purchase from them because clearly the owners have no problem employing bitter and rude employees who are fine at looking at their customers like they're worse than the dirt stuck to the bottom of their shoes. Please don't give them your business, especially if you have kids.
