Have been here once before years ago, fast service, food was pretty good. It's similarly priced to other restaurants in the area like Fords Garage and Cheesecake Factory. The mac and cheese I tried at the GCM Food Fest for the first time and it was SO good so that's what I came for.

Great football watching atmosphere. Even though they did not make my wings as ordered they were still enjoyable. Our waiter was tentative and nice.

A friend was visiting and chose Miller's Alehouse for dinner, so we checked it out on a Friday. While it was busy, we didn't wait more than 15 minutes for a table. They have a large selection of beers and mixed drinks to choose from. I ordered the Zinger's Mountain Melt, which is a delectable pile of chicken tenders on top of a bed of fries smothered in cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, and scallions. Is it healthy? No. Does it taste amazing? Absolutely. We also got an order of the fried jalapeños for the table. These were unique - I had never seen friend jalapeños on a menu before but they were crispy, crunchy, and spicy. Despite them being an appetizer, one order was large enough to serve as a full meal. Overall, Miller's Alehouse is like your typical sports bar pub food but on steroids. I know I'll be going back again soon.

Walked in for a late dinner and semi-busy for a Wed evening. Nice sports bar vibe. We were seated right away and tended to quickly with menus and drink orders. From there was downhill. Got the potstickers fairly quickly and ordered wings and nachos for our mains. Literally took 40 minutes. Our food was basically sitting in the window because our server wasn't on top of it. When I asked for our food to be checked on she handed the line cook my wings back for a "freshen up" since the sauce had dried out under the heat lamp. I just watched and stared as they stared back. Nachos came out luke warm and any cheese that came with it was so coagulated and chewy. Wonder what it's like when they're busy. Would I come back? Hard pass. Should you go try it? HELL NO. 2 stars because it had potential.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. I didn't have a long wait to be seated. The tables are spaced reasonably apart and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the cheese curds for my appetizer and they were amazing!! So light and fried to perfection. I also got a pitcher of Red sangria. I felt this was overly sweet and you couldn't really taste any wine in it at all. My date ordered the Hopsecutioner Ale. It was super hoppy. We split 20 wings half mild and the other half was garlic Parmesan. The wings were very flavorful but they were sadly still pink on the inside. Our waiter Roland was definitely very knowledgeable about lots of wine choices and helpful when choosing apps from the menu. Overall I would return but I would like to not see pink chicken again.

Coconut Shrimp to make my day at Miller's Ale House in Gainesville, FL
    Raye Z.

Miller's Ale House food gives you what you expect to get when you want comfort food. I didn't know I needed a beer and coconut shrimp to make my day. The New restaurant location is really nice, clean, nothing like the old one was. The coconut shrimp was a plumpy delicious crunch. The service was not memorable, but there is booze, plenty of space, and TVs everywhere. It was just the ease of a hangout and drank I was looking for.

The atmosphere is just the best and I always have a good time! Seating is first come, first serve or seat yourself situation. So if there is a big game, you should get there a couple hours early to ensure you get a seat. Otherwise you will be wondering the restaurant trying to pounce on an open seat the second you see one. We actually arrived 2.5 hours before the game even started and almost all the seats were taken already. While this can be a little chaotic, it really adds to the experience of eating here on a game day! It was absolutely PACKED for the national championship, people were even bringing chairs from home to sit outside. We ended up sitting at a small outdoor bar. Our bartender or server, Maddie, was excellent. She made sure we were satisfied the whole time and did a great job checking in on us. She was also super friendly and great to talk to! Considering how busy it was, the food didn't take too long to come out. When it is super busy, you can order food at the bar (inside or outside one) and don't need to have a table to receive service. The staff did a great job keeping up with everything and making sure things were running as efficiently as possible. For the food, the five of us started with an order of mozzarella sticks and their famous buffalo chicken dip. The mozzarella sticks are a new menu item and feature golden-fried mozzarella sticks, crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside, served with ranch marinara. These were really, really good, with a nice cheese pull and the perfect amount of breading. I was quite surprised with how tasty these were! The Buffalo chicken dip consists of pulled chicken mixed with buffalo wing sauce, melted cheddar, pepper jack, and cream cheese, finished with ranch and an extra kick of hot sauce, served with tortilla chips, celery, and carrots. This was AMAZING and a perfect starter for the table to share. Served in a cast iron skillet, the portion is huge and the dip is super flavorful and creamy. There weren't enough chips served with the dip for all of us, but our server was happy to give us a complimentary tray of chips. I can easily see why this is a favorite and I will definitely be ordering this next time I come here! I also got a side Caesar salad and thought that was great as well. It was a nice portion, with fresh romaine, shredded Parmesan cheese, croutons, and capers. We ordered our entrees around kickoff, I ended up getting the Founder's Club Sandwich. The Founder's Club included a grilled chicken breast topped crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, served on toasted sourdough bread, with a side of swamp sauce. All the entrees come with fries, unless you want to upgrade to another side or request not to have them. I really enjoyed this sandwich. The chicken had a nice char to it and was surprisingly juicy. I appreciated the sourdough bread over a regular bun as well. The subtleness of the provolone cheese and the fresh tomato were great too! Overall, we had an awesome time watching the CFB national championship at The Swamp. The atmosphere and vibes are unmatched. Service was awesome and the workers there are so on top of things. Food hit the spot and the Buffalo chicken dip was our favorite. Can't wait to come back!!
