OK well the first sign of problems was when we came here to basically a sports bar to watch the FSU/Miami football game.Years ago it was standing room only for any college game really. Walking in the door we commented on the fact the place was almost empty for a 3:30 pm game. Our original waitress was 'ok'. We ordered drinks and well done chicken wings. Meanwhile, our original waitress cashed us out and turned us over to LeeAnn. WOW. She never -I mean never- came over to see if we needed anything. We didn't even know who she was but we did see a sloppy looking waitress who wore her mask on her chin (thats correct right? Why even bother wearing it really) hanging with the table behind us. This waitress spent all of her time at the table behind us.She must have known them because they had her attention for 10 minutes at a time. We finally asked who our waitress was to the busboy who went to find out. She finally comes over. I mean it took 15 minutes. Then she acted as if we were bothering her. She was horrible! I mean absolutely the worst I've seen. And she walked around the restaurant with a Starbucks drink. I know as a patron that would be frowned upon. At least do it where customers cant see you. And then the 'extra done' wings came out. And they were literally raw. RAW! Gross! Bloody! We wanted to tell there manage but we didn't see LeeAnn for at least 10 minutes after the wings came out. She snottily just walked away when we nicely said they were not cooked to order-being nice- They were raw. So then the manage comes over- Dark hair female- proceeds ro tell us the meat is cooked its just not cooked all the way to the bone. WHAT??? ". My husband said but we ordered them extra done! But she says well you already paid for them. Horrible for a manager to say. Finally did get new wings that were as ordered. Meanwhile another person joined our table and after 10 minutes (because she was busy with the table behind us) LeeAnn walks by and stares at the person for at least 10 seconds who was looking at the menu and didn't know she was there and so she walks away! Never asking if she wanted anything to drink. WE WATCHED THIS HAPPEN! We did order fried jalapeño chips and how do you think they came out? VERY WELL DONE! Point made Ale House! Well played. Don't complain because everything you get from that point on will be overcooked. We have had these done to perfection at other Millers Ale Houses. Finally we are slow I guess, we moved up to the bar where we encountered two wonderful bartenders who could not have been nicer. But it doesn't end there. As we were chatting at the bar a roach walked by my plate. We smashed it and handed it to the bartender. Gross. Now another thing.... I went to the bathroom. And lets just say... one of the toilets was not flushed. So me being me, I tried to flush it. Because that is gross (really bad!) And the toilet would not flush. Told the 3 young people at the hostess station. I cant say if they did anything but from where we sat at the bar no one from the restaurant went in in the 15 minutes we were there. Patrons did though. Ugh. So needless to say we will NEVER step a foot in there and since I have talked to several friends about it they don't go there either. No wonder when I asked people to meet us there they turned us down. GOT IT! I can tell you it starts with management ( you know, the dark haired girl that was not apologetic when we complained about the wings). She must know how bad this girl is. Horrible experience at Miller's tonight. Visiting a friend from out of town and came in to attend trivia night. Our waiter immediately started giving us a hard time from the moment we sat down. Went to order drinks and he accepted my friends ID and then questioned my license from NY state. He told me it was very clearly a fake (he claimed the lamination wasn't correct), and I should "get my money back." When I showed him pictures from my college graduation a few years ago, he said I was a "real handsome guy" in a patronizing manner and then demanded I thank him for the compliment. He brought both of us our drink orders and slammed them on the table again repeating that my "fake ID" was shit and I needed to get my money back. I am very understanding if someone has questions about an out of state license especially when I am only 24 years old, but the entire situation was handled extremely poorly. We alerted the manager to the situation, and he kept asking what he could do to make it right. It was too late at that point. We were so uncomfortable and needed to leave. Halfway through our conversation with the manager, the waiter came over and lurked. I don't know what the issue was with the server but clearly some protocol was not followed. If he was so sure my ID was fake, then why was I served? I find it hard to believe that a large chain like Miller's does not have a procedure to check IDs, or why not get the manager involved early on if the server was unsure. My friend and I found out after the fact that there was a scanner in the back, which was never used to check the ID. We were simply harassed, under the assumption one of us would "fess up" to it being a fake ID, which it was not. It is unfortunate, since my friend was familiar with the Miller's locations in PA and spoke highly of the restaurant. But after being harassed from the moment we were seated right up until the very moment we ultimately left, I cannot say I recommend anyone visit this Miller's location. read more

Went in her for some Friday night (10pm) chicken wings and drinks. 45 minutes later, no food and still one drink. Chicken wings.... how long does it take to make chicken wings when the place is empty? Nary a manager to be found. Who operates a business like this... no manager and a couple of parolees at minimum wage in the kitchen. Fine dining at it's best. Yikes. Tried to give me a a $15 gift card to placate me. F yoo. Manager didn't even have the stones to offer it themselves, put the poor bartender up to do it. I wouldn't come back if it was the last place for food on the planet. Judge a sports bar by how it is on an nfl Sunday. Not good. Several TVs left unused in the 1-4 transition. Bartenders chasing each other and playing Grabass instead of serving customers. Managers chit chatting with servers ignoring customers. Bartenders especially more concerned with each other, gossip, singing and dancing and game playing than serving. This Ale House is comparable to the Ale House I frequent in Columbus, Ohio. The atmosphere is similar but with some Florida fishing flair. The menu is extensive and they have a decent drink selection. The $3 house wine during happy hour is the way to go. The waitress was not familiar with the drink menu so we had to ask the bartender for specifics. The steak fajitas were incredible, so where the coconut shrimp and southwest bistro steak salad. The food is always good and prices are very reasonable. We saved room for the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure cake and it was incredible! Solid food and service for a chain restaurant and the wide menu will please even the pickiest of eaters (or people with diet restrictions). read more

This place not only has good food but they are great at hospitality. I am someone who comes from a training and learning development field and am totally impressed with the way The Ale House operates. It's 100% customer service. I had an issue with my meal and when I talked to our waiter Paris, who is fabulous, he immediately took my plate and let the manage know. Martin, the manager, then came over and apologized and offered me another meal. When I ordered another glass of wine next the pour was perfecto!! :). I get a lot of you are saying "that's what should happen" but it doesn't always and they deserve the accolades for doing the right thing. We have been to three Ale House's in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter FL and Paramus NJ and it's consistently good and a pleasure! Thank you all for your hard work and perfect customer service!!! I had driven by this restaurant a couple of times and the parking lot was always full for lunch so I figured I would give it a try. Started with a fried clam strips appetizer that was very disappointing. They tasted like frozen clam strips that were fried until almost charcoal. The barbecue pork sandwich was actually mushy, no texture at all. The best part of the meal was the beer. They had Anchor Steam on tap which was excellent. Today I waited 15 mins longer than was quoted online, and the food was just average. Zingers have been my all time favorite for years but tonight they were bad. Small, dry, and the breading seemed different than normal, like not as much breading or old or something. Fries were soggy and cold by the time I got the food and I ate one right in the car. One of my favorite places to go in Jupiter. This place has all the games on all of the time. The zingers or the mountain melt are the way to go. I recommend the hot ones. I would not recommend the pasta. It has little flavor and there are much better things on the menu. The zingers flatbread is delicious. For dessert, the captain jacks is the only way to go and it can serve about 3 people. They have trivia night on Tuesday at 8 which is a great event. You can win zingers or beer with each round. Delivery was 50 minutes late (not Ale House's fault). Cold fish & chips is not very tasty. Called the restaurant as order was missing their $10 pint of ice cream and wrong salad dressing. Told to take it up with DoorDash and young lady that answered the phone said she gave driver the ice cream. I don't know, when my family owned a business we wanted to ensure our customers were happy. Disappointed by the entire experience with both DoorDash and the Ale House. I think you can do better. A happy customer is a repeat customer. read more

Hot melted fudge one top of a homemade ice cream cake with Oreo® cookie crust, caramel, chocolate fudge and Heath Bar® crunch. It's to die for!! Used to love going here to get a zinger mountain melt. This time unfortunately was terrible! The server BRENDA was so slow and didn't give us any water when we asked. Every time we asked for something it seemed to be a burden. I ordered my usual, the mountain melt and asked for extra cheese, but when it came out it definitely did not have extra cheese. Met my parents here for a late lunch and to watch the Buckeye game. The staff was very accommodating in making sure one of the TV's in our area was tuned to the Buckeye game (we're from Ohio, this place is in Florida) ;-) We sat on the patio which was nice but they really need to do a better job of blocking out the late afternoon sun. The roll-down "awnings" they have are clear so they don't block out the sun which can make watching TV a bit difficult. We had the loaded fries for an appetizer, they were OK. I had asked for BBQ sauce w/ them but never got it (the loaded fries come with ranch). I had the Chicken Parmesan, the chicken was great, the pasta not so much. When the hostess asked if I wanted a table or booth, we requested booth because my hiney deserves only the must cushiest of cushions. It was stacked with corned-beef, lean and tasty! It wasn't too oily, like it is in many places, and the blend of flavors was perfect. Cole slaw was fresh and not heavy with mayonnaise dressing. Today Jupiter, where I sat for 18 minutes listening to Lauren's personal issues about a door. While Brittany busted ass trying to keep up. Needless to say, Lauren took a perfectly good day off and infused aggravation. Why in the world would Management allow her to work in this fashion?, ultimately at the Customers experience.
