The server Thom was awesome. He made some great suggestions to us for dinner ideas. It was very nice and quiet in the restaurant. We were able to watch some of the Columbia and Portugal soccer FIFA tournament which was nice. We also enjoyed the Oso Buco and ,pot stickers, grilled shrimp and chicken salad. This place is utterly terrible I was here with a group of friends for over an hour and all we got were one round of drinks the server "Emma" was no help at all after this terrible service when we asked to get our check and cancel our food she gave us nothing but rude attitude and passive aggressive comments while going on to talk to the cook about us and point at us infront of our face!!! Normally we love Miller's Ale House. However this particular one was not a good choice for us. The service was great. So it wasn't because of the service. The two main problems at the restaurant was it was filthy and nasty. The bathroom has torn spots on the wall and the restaurant was very dated and just filthy. We order a 14 oz ribeye and it was very thought. Normally their food is fantastic for the price point so I really believe this location is just having some issues and needs to be address. I would avoid it until they get their restaurant cleans up and better cooks. read more

Had a great dinner with my brother. Service was great and the food was very good. It wasn't too loud and we were there early enough that we didn't have to wait for a table. They have several televisions for sports fans. Apparently there are a lot of Auburn fans in the area because they have an Auburn Alumni Club there. I Love that!. I hear they have a fantastic dessert that only they make. It's called Capt. Jack's Buried Treasure. It is a triple-layered vanilla ice cream cake, with a Oreo cookie crust, a Heath Bar crumble, and socaramel and hot fudge. Many take it to go! I wasn't too impressed with the Mimi's Fiesta Bowl. Especially for the price of $15.99. Definitely not worth the price. You could get a Chicken and Shrimp Cobb Salad for the same price and get more for you buck. I will definitely not order it again unless they cheapen the price. Maybe $11.99. I got a bacon cheeseburger medium, very hard to mess that up. Idk who is behind the counter but you should be ashamed of yourself. I got a burger so done and dry it's pretty much crumbling apart in my mouth. If you want the burger to be somewhat okay, then make sure you order it rare so it doesn't come out like a piece of charcoal. Have a good night. Note, they also charge an extra 5$ over the regular burger for 2 flimsy pieces of bacon. read more

Absolutely worst experience. We came as a family with four adults and two toddlers. It took us a little while to be greeted, and when we were, it was not that pleasant. Our servers started off experience like we had already upset her. She took her drink and came back to take our food order. We specifically asked for the kids chicken tenders to come out first as it would keep them, quiet and happy and generally restaurants can accommodate this request pretty quickly. during the 30 minutes, we waited for our food. The chicken tenders never came out. We also had to specifically remind her and ask for our drinks for our two-year-old and no one at the table was given a refill at all despite the empty cups, sitting at the end of our table. our food was delivered by a runner and we let them know that our children's meals were never received. We had to send back one burger for being the second burger was supposed to be cooked, medium rare and came out well done. As our server never came back to check in on that we were never able to send that one back. everyone had already gotten their food. Our kids finally returned the table. No point in our server asked how the experience was or apologize about all of the errors with the food. She was so disrespectful and thought we were on a show. I had to leave otherwise I was going to say something in Poor taste, leaving the guys at the table to pay the bill. My husband said that they had to ask her for a box and she threw it on the table. When they asked if she was aware of all the food issues tonight, she said yes, and then walked away. At no point was a manager ever called to the table nor can we find one and I did call after leaving that night because I was so upset about the experience and spoke to a manager. The GM was supposed to give me a call back and I have yet to hear. This is not our first time having an experience at this location have decided that we will not be returning. read more

Place is usually pretty solid as far as food quality goes. I ordered the Prime burger which was delicious, but was Luke warm once I finally walked in and picked it up. This was supposed to be a curbside order but I ended up having to go inside after 15 minutes and getting my order which was sitting under the heat lamp in the bag. I even ordered through their app and let them know I was at the restaurant. Strike:1 I also ordered the Pork Oso Buco which was delicious but the mashed potatoes were obviously from a box and were supper watery! This is a traditional style Millers that I will enjoy watching my favorite sporting events. The restaurant has an original old traditional architectural design not like most of the other Miller Ale Houses that I have visited throughout my travels. One would find in the restaurant wall-to-wall Flat Screens, and the enthusiastic service that I have always experienced at Millers Ale House. We were at Millers to watch the Boston Bruins game on a quiet Monday holiday afternoon. We sat at the bar where they were easily able to accommodate us. The bartender, Nick, was friendly, and the overall staff seemed to be working as a team well. As for a sports bar, l recommend Millers Ale House chain of restaurants. I am not there usually for the food, just sports and beer. read more

Ryan the server came in and saved the day! The service at Miller Ale House Alton wasn't the best (in the beginning) but our server was changed and Ryan came in with the best attitude and service! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations with great service. He was attentive without being intrusive. My first time to Miller's Ale House and it was disappointing all around. The obvious attitude of our server Aaliyah was my first clue. Even if she was the only server, with us being only the 5th table occupied, I'd hardly call the restaurant busy at 3:10 p.m. The special (sirloin and side) looked appetizing, so I ordered it. However, my "medium rare" steak was way beyond well-done, and took forever to arrive, My friend ordered a burger, so it wasn't like we ordered the most complicated things on the menu. What a great place!!!! We love coming to "our" Ale House. The staff is always very friendly and the food and drinks are right on point. The high points are the staff, how clean it was and the food is served hot and the drinks are always refilled. I consider myself a tuff yelper and I think the management team here deserves a 10 for the great job their team is doing! Thanks!!! The food was just average. 3 stars because the delivery service was quick for a late Friday night and the food served its purpose. The wings were rather large, but lacked any seasoning or flavor. The hot sauce was very mild. The chicken Philly was average with little seasoning. It needed extra sauce or something. The fries were standard fries... can't really mess those up. Great to be back at Miller Ale House for Prime Rib Thursday.. Great service from Adam! Give him a raise! We had a lot of requests and he was always smiling and took such great care of us! The Hostess was wonderful- I was coming from a Doctors appointment and my sister left me at the bar with a large glass of wine to pick up my brother in law.. the hostess also took care of us when they arrived.. now to some of the most delicious prime rib I've had in a long time! We started with the onion rings! We ate them too quickly to take a picture! If you love onion rings like we do- do yourself a favor and order their onion rings! Crispy and piping hot.. and when you bite into it the onion doesn't all come out.. it is so tender it actually stays in the breading. Yay! Their dipping sauce is unbelievably delicious!!! Get extra! Now to the main event! The Prime Rib! I ordered mine blackened medium rare. It came out perfectly cooked and filled with flavor and cut like butter! My sister and brother in law always order it rare! We all agreed they were soooo perfectly cooked and delicious maybe some of the best ever! Like I said Adam was amazing! All of our extra requests he went above and beyond for us.. it was a busy night and our food came out quickly! Our wine selection was also perfect! All the staff were friendly and attentive! We usually enjoy Miller's Ale House, at least in Daytona and Orlando; Palm Beach Gardens, not so much. My partner enjoys their Osso Buco, but last nights was overcooked, dry and flaky. I had the Steak and Shrimp. I expected at their price point that the meal would not be exceptional BUT, the size of the steak was miniscule and the toughest steak that I have ever been served ! The popcorn shrimp were acceptable. The server did a decent job and seemed to be a buddy to other diners, no problem with that. The crowning touch was, even the beer was WARM !! Zingers are fantastic, mt st helens sauce is hot but tasty. Good ambiance and fun during football games. We never got our lemon water though and wondered where the server was at times. Nice but just didn't see them. Come here often and usually solid and similar experience as this. read more

Waited over 35 minutes for a medium burger and fries and medium well sirloin and shrimp , it came back well done close to burned burger and sirloin was well done as well and the shrimp was one of the most bland things I've ever tried. The sauce was delicious and they filled up the bowl with French fries. Definitely improved. And they didn't run out of angry orchard. So I would change my 3 star to 5 star. They are back at being awesome. Usually the food Is good but lately the food has been off. The sauce on the wings is watery and flavorless. The fries were overcooked and cold and they barely gave you any. I counted 30. The angry orchard they were out of. The food has been like this for a few weeks now. Post hurricane Dorian, cabin fever, so we go for a ride to see whats open. We do a big north county loop, not finding anything. So my wife says go south, if theres anything itll be south. Made sense. We saw some cars at a local watering hole, not interested even with cabin fever. A department store had a lot full of cars, what? Why? Made no sense. Then we smelled it! The aroma of beef charbroiling, we both exclaimed THE ALE HOUSE! From the back it was kinda obscured but the aroma! The lot was full, folks waiting. We dont normally do the wait thing, but where we going? We walked in and it was jammed, 30 minute wait. Thats actually cool, less house time. We hawk the bar for service. Theres one seat, do we go there to order. Now we find the adjoining seat is available. The bartender said, hes done, gone, have a seat. He will realize he left his phone eventually. The service was great, two bartenders, hustling, smiling, slinging suds. The menu was limited to the bar card and no frozen drinks. A couple of beers were brought. Ahhhh. We went burgers with fries. I wasnt hungry, but i know i will be eventually. So chow down. A preemptive hunger strike? All was good. So nice. Thanks for being open. read more

In the age of " we have no staff" this millers location in PBG seems to consistently rise to the challenge. We have been several times over the last couple of month, most recently on Friday. Matt was our server. He was pleasant, professional and timely. I didn't have to ask for drink refills or wait endlessly for ketchup. My pear and Gorgonzola salad was tasty and crisp. My husbands Philly sandwich was hot and flavorful. I would recommend them for a quick bite or a leisurely dinner. read more
