Came here for a birthday brunch. Hostess sat us at a high top. Kind waitress took our drink orders. I got the lavender spritz. Didn't look lavender as the picture and it tasted just okay. For my entree I decided on the chicken and waffles. The chicken breasts were tiny. We ordered a round of orange tea shots for a bday toasts. It tasted just like green tea shots with maybe a hint of citrus.

Came for some football and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and took my drink order promptly. The mojito was refreshing. It's a sports bar with plenty of televisions to catch a game on any given night. There was some outdoor seating as well.

By BF and I went to WOB Saturday for brunch and it never disappoints. It was delish and it was great to relax, have some good food and fun! The service was great and we had such a good time. Reminds us of a modern day "Cheers". Come have some fun and good food!

The staff is always super friendly and attentive. The food is great , as well as the drinks! I love the outdoor seating! Outside they have a beautiful water fountain and fun games like corn hole to play! They have probably the best spinach dip I have ever tried!! This is a great place for a date night, solo, or you can even bring the family!

I can't believe we haven't been to world beer. This is this place has been here for a while and we haven't been. We were there on a Tuesday night at 6 PM, no problem getting a seat. House is very friendly and our waiter is very friendly and nice and she got some good recommendations. I absolutely love the decoration in here. We didn't realize there's also happy hour so that is great. got a little flatbread. It was delicious. We truly enjoy the trivia night and our food.

We had a stellar experience here for lunch. We sat at the bar and had fantastic and friendly service from Adam. I'd been craving a great burger. We both ordered from the lunch specials menu. And I got what I was craving, I chose their build your own with Swiss cheese and lettuce and tomato. My included side was either house made potato chips or cucumber salad. I chose the chips. The burger was cooked exactly as ordered. The angus beef blend was tasty. I even enjoyed the brioche bun. I'd get this again when in a burger mood. My husband sampled a couple of their beers -- they have a slew on tap plus cans and bottles from all over the world and locally, too. He found a light grapefruit one that he enjoyed most. He also had their BYO burger but no cheese and had added on onions. In addition to good service, we found the fellow diners at the bar quite friendly. We were welcomed by a few of the regulars and chatted with some of the other folks as we dined. Good food, well priced, good service, and friendly neighbors. All in all, it made for a wonderful lunch experience.

Five Stars, Yes, five stars for our lunch Beer and Burger session here! Adam was tending bar and was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding their tap beers. I went with a Grapefruit beer which paired with my perfectly cooked burger! Friendly bar mates and an enjoyable experience all around!

World of Beer is an awesome pub with an incredible selection of--what else?--beer! The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making customers feel welcome. WOB is the perfect spot to catch a game or sporting event. With TV screens visible from nearly every seat--including the bar--you won't miss a moment. On this visit, we tried the Smash Burger Sliders and the Parmesan Truffle Fries. Both were excellent. The fries, served with mayonnaise, reminded me of how they're done in Amsterdam--rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. If you're looking to enjoy a few exotic brews or just want a great place to watch the game, WOB delivers on every front. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for me, I've officially moved into World of Beer Royal Palm Beach. Sorry, not sorry! The beer list is longer than my grocery list, and infinitely more exciting. Whether you're a sour-lover, a stout-devotee, or just here for a solid lager, they've got you covered. I'm pretty sure I found my soulmate in a pint glass today. But it's not just about the brews--the Mac & Cheese Bites are basically little nuggets of joy, and the staff is so friendly they make you feel like a local even if it's your first time. Plus, sitting out by the water with a cold one? Absolute perfection. Come for the beer, stay for the vibes (and the giant pretzels). 10/10 would recommend!" Photo Suggestions to Level Up Your Review To really help other people find this spot, try adding these shots: The "Cheers" Shot: A close-up of your beer with the outdoor patio or the lake in the background. The Food Porn: A top-down shot of those Mac & Cheese bites or the giant German Pretzel. The "Wall of Fame": A wide shot of the massive cooler wall or the tap handles to show off the selection. The View: A scenic photo of the outdoor seating area during sunset. Thanks Shayna and Sam for a great experience. Now you can go ahead and read it, add how many stars you want

This place is incredible as always! We are from Miami and it's our go to spot when we come to Palm Beach. The highlight for me is the drinks. However, their food is perfectly savory and hits the spot every time. Their staff is amazing too! Worth a try

Went to the World of Beer for the first time to hang out with friends during happy hour, which offered a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, which makes it a great choice for casual get-togethers. The indoor and outdoor seating options are a nice touch, giving you flexibility depending on the weather or vibe you're going for. The place is clean and well-maintained, with neat decor that adds to the laid-back atmosphere. The staff was helpful and polite, though nothing particularly stood out in terms of service. While it's not a must-visit destination, it's definitely a nice spot to grab a drink and some bites with friends after work.

World of Beer sure has changed over the years , since I last visited one at the now closed Wellington location. Starting with the menu. We stopped in for happy hour. The margherita flatbread was just as good as Shooters in Ft.Lauderdale. We ordered the mac and cheese bites from the happy hour menu, which were very good. We also ordered burgers from the regular menu. I had the BBQ Smoked Brisket Burger. Delicious. Cooked perfectly . And service was great. They have a huge bar with plenty of tables, and they also have an extra room, which had a poker tournament going on. And they have 2 ample spaces for a simulated golf game with screens. Looked pretty cool. My only complaint, being a beer guy, is the beer choices for happy hour. They only had 6 beers on the happy hour list, and they were out of one, making it 5 that was available . You call yourselves World of beer, and you can't add another beer to the list.? It's draft beer not bottles, they should have more choices for a happy hour. Maybe 10 at least. Other than that, we will be back, probably on a Monday, when they have burger deals going on.

So much fun with the kids

As always a delicious lunch with Adam and Tammy today. Service is excellent and we feel like it's cheers when we walk in. The atmosphere is always fun and energetic, we watch all sports and the conversation between guests is like meeting new friends.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Nice place for an Italian date night. The majority of the restaurant is indoors but the cool part is that then it connects to an open outdoor area so it just feels like a huge open space. If you've been to Louie Bossi in Fort Lauderdale, this is like the sister. For my choice of drink, I decided it was an espresso martini type of day. As our appetizer, our waiter recommended for us to try the "Coccoli Fritto" which is little breads to fill with fresh ricotta and prosciutto. It was delicious. The bread was warm and toasty and then filled with ricotta and prosciutto?! Utter perfection while being simple. For my entree, I tried the "Tagliarini al limone" long pasta. It was unique and tasty. Be advised it does have pistachios (which I loved) if you have a nut allergy. I would definitely order this pasta again. The service was quick and efficient and our waiter was very nice and helped with recommendations. I wish I catched her name but she was wonderful. The restaurant was fairly empty during our visit, so it took longer than expected for our meals to arrive. As for the food, it was a bit mixed. I ordered the Mulberry salad, which was good but not particularly memorable. My husband had the meatball sandwich and felt the same way. The pizza seemed to be a standout, and those who ordered pasta were very happy with their meals. One small disappointment was that a member of our group tried to order an item that was still listed on the menu but was told it was no longer available. Overall, this is a beautiful venue with excellent service and a great atmosphere. For me, it feels like the perfect place to enjoy drinks, appetizers, and good company, with a few menu items standing out more than others.

I'm not here to diminish anyone else's experience, but rather to share my own honestly and constructively. Situations like this should serve as a learning opportunity for upper-level management, especially when the level of service and leadership falls below even basic expectations. We ordered a filet mignon that lacked the tenderness I would expect from a restaurant claiming this caliber of dining. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control. With an abundance of superior restaurants nearby, this is not a place I would return to, even if offered a complimentary meal. Don't chance it.

You may experience it once, or multiple times, depending on how comfortable you are with strictly valet parking and, in particular, the Palm Beach prices, but the food, the cocktails, and the service are on point. For as long as I have lived in the West Palm Beach area, the building that now houses Mary Lou's was a bait-and-tackle store with a respectable craft beer selection. The structure has been in existence since at least the 1960s, by my knowledge, and the owners of what has become Mary Lou's have kept the exterior aesthetic to make it appear like an old but unassuming store on Southern Boulevard, but once you're inside, you realize you're in a completely different universe. Once you valet your car and walk inside, you're greeted by ship-like, polished wooden walls and intimate lighting as you head to the greeting desk to check in. Yes, please reserve a table in advance. Once checked in, you're escorted through a set of doors into a darkened hallway before a circular, circus-like lounge area and bar appear that radiates 70s vibes, not too far from what you may watch on the show Palm Royale from Apple TV. After being escorted to our table, we enjoyed a myriad of lovely cocktails and small and large bites with excellent service. I enjoyed cocktails such as the Olive Ave and Old Soul: the former was a filthy martini made with love and understanding, the latter was a bourbon-based powerhouse with applejack, Barenjager, and mango. I also ordered off the menu and enjoyed a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned. Both were fantastic bourbon cocktails that the bar made well. The Beef Carpaccio Salad was wicked good with the goat cheese brulee and pine nut butter, while the maple pork belly skewers were solid. The crispy octopus was excellent with the fav bean puree, while the grilled lamb chops were piquant. The Banana Creme Brulee for dessert was very good, shaped like an actual banana with a chocolate shell that evoked Andy Warhol. Everything we were served was meticulously prepared and exquisitely delicious. The service was prompt and accommodating. We rarely waited long for drinks, for additional items off the menu, the bar accommodated us well with different drink selections -- we were a party of six and didn't have delays per my observation. The drawbacks are pricing and exclusive valet parking. Most cocktails run at least $20, and the small and large bites are priced between $30 and $45, with some slightly lower and some slightly higher. You can easily spend $75 to $100 before tip. Therefore, this serves as either a special-occasion spot or a regular-occasion spot for those who can afford it -- definitely Palm Beachy in that regard. The on-site parking spots for Mary Lou's are reserved for valet; self-parking is not readily available, as I have observed. If you're concerned about valet parking, consider either coming with a large group and carpooling or using Uber. After 10 PM at least on Saturdays is when the lounge turns into a dance club with the lights darkening, the spotlights shining, reflecting off the mirror bar, with dancers and DJ spinning music. It can be a lot of fun to take part if you make a reservation at the right time to experience both sides of the establishment.

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience at Mary Lou's in West Palm Beach…read more The prices were already extremely high, and then the final bill included an added 5% operational fee on top of an automatic 20% gratuity. For a restaurant at this price point, these charges should be clearly explained before the bill arrives, not left as an unexpected surprise for customers. The restaurant was also uncomfortably cold throughout the entire evening, which took away from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. What was most upsetting, however, was the treatment by the bouncer. He was rude and physically shoved me without any reason. No customer should ever be handled in that manner. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. For the amount charged, I expected a much higher level of service, transparency, and respect. Instead, the evening felt overpriced, uncomfortable, and hostile. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage management to address both the hidden fees and the conduct of their staff.
