FRENCH ONION SOUP

Stopped in tonight hoping to see our favorite server but she was off. Josh was our server and he was awesome as well! Super attentive and got our special wing order correct which is a huge plus to us. Food was hot and delicious and ambiance was a good vibe as usual. Giulia & Josh are wonderful servers and Natally is wonderful and friendly hostess .

First time at this location and we were a bit disappointed. We were at the Kissimmee location last week and my girls enjoyed it so much they asked for it again. Hamlin was much closer to home, so., why not, right? We ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks, zingers, prime rib and kids mac n cheese. Every dish was lacking flavor. We all agreed the Kissimmee location tasted better. Prime rib was ok, could've used more seasoning. Mozzarella sticks tasted stale. Calamari had zero flavor. Zingers were super dry (we had garlic parm). Mac n cheese was lacking cheese. My 7yo said the food quality is not there. Maybe it's an off night for them?

We are regulars here and I order the same entree every time. The Mimi's Cafe. It is such a flavorful dish and also low calorie. Loaded with grilled chicken (topped with chimichurri) and grilled shrimp, served on a bed of rice with lettuce, tomatoes, beans, etc. This is such a great dish!!

We doubled back for our favorite wings. I made sure to get the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks for an appetizer. They came out good as always. Then I ordered the difficult to make wings. Medium Extra Wet then retossed in Chili Lime Rub. They came out perfect.. Josh was a good server. It looks like this location is the only one that came consistently get those wings right. Until next time!

We stopped by last night around 6pm from our Sunday evening family dinner. We were a group of 5. Walked right in, no wait. Restaurant is a proper sports bar. Tons of TVs of various sizes. You can see a tv from any seat. It's very loud with game activity, not good or bad just something to be aware. There is seating inside (high tops, low tops and booths) and covered outdoor seating. There is a large bar in the middle of the restaurant with seating all around. Menu items cover American pub style options such as handhelds, burgers, salads, wings, steaks and more. Food is underwhelming. If you're coming here, order a burger or wings. Everything else in my experience are below average. Last night we had classic burger (good) big red chicken sandwich (good) Mimi festive bowl (meh) kids burger (ok) kids Mac and cheese (bad). Pricing $10-20. It was busy so I'll chalk the wait up to that but our food took a very long time arrive after ordering. Our server was attentive and apologetic of the wait. I'd come her to watch a game have a burger or wings but other than that, there are better food options in the area.

I stopped by here to catch an Orlando City game. I was a bit surprised that not one TV had the home town soccer game on, but they were nice enough to put it on for me. It was around 5pm and it was not too busy. The bartender and staff were super friendly. I dropped a star purely because the bar TVs were absolutely filthy and it was kind of gross. The fried calamari was good. It came out super hot and fresh. To be expected when that the only thing ordered. Probably could have cooked a hair longer, but that's nitpicking.

It's been years since I had eaten at an ale house. I was out with the family and wanted someplace they haven't been so decided to come in. It was a flash of memories when I walked in looks exactly like the ale houses that have been around forever. No one was at the hostess stand when we arrived but within a minute someone came over and sat us. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but not packed. Our server was nice but you can tell she was new and doing her part to push the menu item they taught her to push. She was also very slow to get us drinks and take our order. Food was good but nothing great My boys ordered quesadillas. My one son is a vegetarian and he asked if he could get a veggie burger for the kids meal and the manager said no. Probably because it's a larger burger but a nice gesture would have been pay for the full size burger and he can get a free drink like with a kids meal. ( since we all know the massive mark up on soda). My mom had the steak sandwich and she enjoyed it. I had the fish and chips. It was a good portion and fish was nice and crispy but very greasy. All in all it was an ok meal. The boys want to come back and watch football one Sunday so we will probably be back.

Great wings I get them breaded . 20oz Guinness for $5.99. Service is very good. Place is very clean. Staffs very friendly.

Went with the family and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Drinks refilled without asking, food plentiful and very tasty. I had the slow braised pork shank and it was sooo good and only $19.99. My sister and nieces saw some police having lunch and secretly paid for their meal and my niece gave them some candy and wished them a Merry Christmas and was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day. Would certainly return!

My husband and I like coming to this location in Hamlin for football weekends or sometimes for lunch in between meetings after work. All the staff has been on top of it every time we come to eat, especially Rose at the bar (always super nice, with the best attitude). The food is always out on time, and pretty tasty. I can see that they really try to meet times, and service and from my point of view they have been doing it great since they opened. This is a very convenient location if you live in Horizon's west. No complaints with this location, there's also enough parking!!

I love this Millers. It's less busy than the others in the area (the one at the corner or 535/535-locals will understand-is legit the craziest all the time) and it's newer. The only reason they don't get a 5 is not the fault of the restaurant staff but the space doesn't have any outdoor space. So like the "outside bar/patio" isn't technically outside and they don't have the traditional fire pit section that a lot of the Millers have. If you're not local make sure you try the mountain melt, get it Millers style and share it! Also, don't be fooled any "ale house" that doesn't say Millers isn't the real deal don't be fooled! The bar staff at this millers treat you like family and knew the names of many people sitting at their bar! I had a great time and I will for sure visit this one again!

If you are from Orlando, chances are you have been to Ale House. It is your typical sports bar, huge menu, lots of options, lots of drinks, especially beer. This one has opened in our area, about 6 minutes from our house. It took us about 3 months to finally get here, because the wait is always so long! You can sit at the bar, inside or outside. They have TVs everywhere so you can absolutely watch some of sort sporting event while eating. It definitely has the sports bar vibe and atmosphere. Game days for our football team are always the most fun! We have been to Ale House numerous times and the food is always pretty good. I know what I like, and I know what I am going to get. The food is typical ale house food, but we actually enjoy it. It usually comes out right away, it's always correct and always hot. Some of my favorite items include the zinger mountain melt, the zinger salad and the Cajun chicken pasta. Their wings are also good and honestly most of their appetizers. I honestly have never had a bad meal here. I love their loaded fries but recommend asking for the fries crispy or well done. Once that cheese and everything gets added, they get soggy really fast. On certain nights of the week, they offer specials such as the prime rib, coconut shrimp and crab legs. The drinks are very good, every night almost having a drink special or beer special. We usually go for beer, it's just the vibe that needs beer, but I also enjoy their wines and mixes drinks (margaritas and martinis) as well. All in all this is a really great place to get some really great food. I have done the order ahead car pull up a few times as well and I do not recommend the car, where they bring it to you. Last time I sat there way past my time, I called a few times to remind them I was there (I could not get out of the car because of my doggies) and when they finally brought my food, they shoved it through the window at me and it was ice cold and clearly been sitting there for quite some time. If you call ahead, go inside and get it or better yet, just eat inside. Great atmosphere, good drinks, great food, its all around a win.

There is an ice cream shop and three different pub areas where visitors can enjoy beverages and pub food. There are activity areas that include a playground for younger children and another area with table tennis, foosball, and cornhole. Then there's the miniature golf area. Unlike "traditional" miniature golf courses filled with obstacles like windmills, the holes here are miniatures of actual golf courses. They have fairways, sand traps, and roughs. The fairways are not level; you have to plan for breaks. The course is automated. Each hole has an electric sign showing statistics for the hole such as its par, distance, and difficulty. It also displays the number of aces and the average number of strokes for the hole that day. There's an app that players can use to keep score that feeds the displays. There are two separate 18-hole courses. Players can order drinks while playing and have them delivered while playing. There are misting fans that provide a cool, refreshing breeze on hot summer days. Following play, I went into the air-conditioned pub. They have a decent selection of drinks and pub food. Their beer selection includes several draft, craft beers. I had a glass of mango wheat beer and a hummus platter. Both hit the spot on a hot summer day. Their printed menu does not have prices. However, there are little plaques that have a QR code to view the menu with prices. Play is not inexpensive. The fee to play is $25, but customers can play all day. There are packages that allow return visits over a period of time that are more economical. I visited late weekday mornings and was able to play uninhibited by others. I enjoyed my visit and will likely sign up for one of their packages that allows repeat visits.

Well that all changed over the years as more places opened and competition got stiffer. When the original owner, Derelict Dave, sold to Luis & Gio a few years ago the place got going again. But when the "Bridges Brothers" bought the place it was awful timing as decades of neglect to the plumbing and equipment made the place an Inspection review nightmare! They pumped some money into revamping the motif of the place but all they did was just raise prices it seemed. The quality and choices of food went downhill and the staff was subpar. The initial training of the employees was minimal and it showed in the operational inefficiency. 10 months after opening they bite the bullet and close the doors to stop the hemorrhaging of cash. Another big problem is the landlord is notoriously, cheap, and impossible to deal with so good luck to anyone else who tries to lease out that spot as they will pay through the nose with a zero Tennant improvement!

Even after moving to Florida, I've had some great ones... but I'm always chasing that next "ohhh yeah" bite. That chase led us to Josie's Pizza and Wings -- and let me tell you, this was not a casual wing experience. This was a commitment to flavor. I went with the Citrus Chipotle. My wife stayed loyal to her signature BBQ (she doesn't mess around when she finds her flavor). The wings came out glistening like they knew they were about to be talked about on Yelp. First surprise? The onion rings. Dare I say... elite. Crispy, golden, not greasy, actual crunch in every bite. And the spicy dipping sauce they paired with them? Game changer. I would order those alone and be completely satisfied. Now the wings. Top. Tier. That crunch when you bite in? Immediate validation. The Citrus Chipotle brought the sweet heat balance perfectly -- not overpowering, just enough kick to keep you going back for "one more." The BBQ was bold, classic, exactly what a BBQ wing should be without tasting bottled and basic. You can taste when a kitchen cares about texture and execution.
