It was our first time here. Our server was so sweet and informative. Everything comes out piping hot. I swear not normal hot. Which is a good thing but just be warned. We started with jalapeño poppers, which were delicious and crispy. We had hot honey wings, which the wings were not soggy. They had a nice crispness to them, but was not dry and was very meaty. Then we had probably the best garlic cheesy bread that I have ever had. It is extra cheesy though. We had no more room to try anything else, but we will definitely be back. I picked up a 17" cheese pizza to go this time. Pros: It was really nice to have a real pizza from a pizzeria after the chains. The pizza was great. Cons: $3 for extra sauce is kinda steep, but OK - I knew that when I ordered - we've been through this in old reviews. I think they make it in-house? I just want to mention if you're gonna charge $3, please put a decent amount of extra sauce on there! I very much appreciated being told not to tilt the pizza b/c of the extra sauce (I seriously see me not thinking about that ), but there was NO sliding going on with the minimal additional sauce. Decent food but they nickel and dime you. For example, I ordered a buffalo chicken sub which you would think would come with ranch or blue cheese but it does not. It's $.75 for a small container (1 1/2 oz). I ordered 2 because we're dippers so $1.60 by the time you add tax. When I arrived to pick up the sandwich and realized how small they were, I asked for a third and was charged so I ended up paying $2.40 for dressing to put on our sandwich. If the side of dressing was at least 2 ounces I could get onboard with paying $.75 a pop. read more

The service is always consistent and the food is always prepared very quickly. The atmosphere is like a sports bar with a couple of TVs and a bar. This was my first time here. They have a great craft beer selection and the wings are pretty darn good. For me the pizza was ok. I liked that it wasn't super salty but wished it had a bit more sauce. My daughter ordered pasta which came out 10+ minutes before the rest of our meals. Operations seemed a bit disorganized. We arrived around 3 PM on a Thursday afternoon right before Christmas. We had the entire place to ourselves, literally. There was no one else in there. All of their menus are QR code. There were just two of us in our party, and we opted to keep it simple. My husband got the meatball sub with fries (there is a up charge fee for fries) and I got the metro turkey sub with chips (no up charge). They have Coppertail beer on tap, and with it being a beer out of Tampa, I opted for one glass of beer while my husband got a Sprite. The subs were beautifully toasted. Not too hard, but not too soft. The meatball sub was good but it needed more marinara on it. My husband ended up asking for two more small containers to add to the sandwich. Overall, it was good, but he said the pizza and the wings he's had there before were much better. I had the metro turkey sub which was turkey, deli meat with green apples and lettuce, cheese and a slightly spicy sauce. Was not overly spicy but the perfect balance with the sweetness of the apples. First time visiting, 8pm on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty which was perfect. Small place, inside & outside seating. Has a small bar and TV's with the games on. Started off with an order of cheesy bread which was a solid 4.5/5 SOOOO GOOD! Then ordered the "Josie" pizza which was pepperoni, sausage, mushroom & green peppers. Was a total of 8 slices and more than enough for 2 people. Pizza was honestly one of the better ones I've had in the Orlando area so far. I see all of this love for Josie's but to be honest I left my experience feeling whelmed at best...not overwhelmed; not underwhelmed...just whelmed. Looking to order pick-up I hopped onto their website to review the menu and found it to be glitchy and not mobile browser friendly. The site said to download the app, so I did...and it's just as glitchy. I started to try and place an order through the app but it would not allow for modifications to the order. I gave Josie's a call and was able to place my order with ease. The employee who helped me was super friendly and attentive. After a brief wait; maybe 20mins I headed over to pick up our food. The dining area was small but very clean. A handful of customers were scattered about having beer and talking. I will say they have some great local and craft beers on tap here. I was promptly greeted and my order was ready when I arrived. So far you're thinking...if everything was so smooth and easy-why the two stars? The food. We ordered two calzones and an order of their cheese bread which totaled just shy of $31. Upon getting our order home we found the serving sizes to be lackluster. The cheese bread, tho delicious, was quite tiny. The calzones were of okay size but massively lacking on the fillings and the majority of it just being bread. It just wasn't worth the price we paid to be honest. There are other, local joints nearby where you can get way more and better food for a similar price. Sadly that is what made Josie's a one-and-done for us. Obviously I am in the minority when it comes to Josie's but based on our experience we just won't be returning. I've been going to Josie's on Hiawassee for more than twenty years, but somehow missed the opening of this one, which is much closer to my home. The space is much brighter and more open than the old location. Although there is a sort of bar in the back, this is primarily a table service place, with plenty of tables both inside and outside. On our visit there were a handful of inside tables occupied, and the sole server was doing a fantastic job of keeping up with everyone. We shared a large Greek salad, an order of ten hot garlic wings, and a pepperoni, ricotta, and basil pizza. Everything was excellent, and the hot food arrived literally steaming from the kitchen. The Greek salad was a nice mix of fresh veggies on top of crisp lettuce, and the Greek dressing was delicious. The pizza didn't have a crisp crust, but the sauce had a great oregano flavor, the cheese was plentiful, and the pepperoni was very flavorful. The wings are the wet style, and some of the best in town. I love that they use fresh garlic on top of the hot sauce rather than mixing in powdered garlic. A lot of places have been having staffing issues, and we had the impression there might be just two people working here on a Monday at lunch, but they were certainly doing a great job, and I give them full points for food and service. read more

This location is our number one local Pizza spot in the area. The staff are always friendly, food always fresh and delicious, and the deals they have are great for the family. It has indoor and outdoor seating and take out is always a breeze. Their service is always on perfect timing even when they are packed certain days of the weeks. My father and I have a personal favorite which is their pizza with meatball and ricotta cheese as the topping. Even their regular cheese pizza never disappoints with cheese/sauce ratio always perfect. Their garlic cheese bread always hits the spot and is a must get side dish. I am not a big wing fan but theirs never disappoints and my grandmother who is the pickiest eater always finishes her serving. I highly recommend stopping by if you and your party are in a pizza mood you won't regret it one bit. The sub, packed full of flavor. The Italian meats were definitely the star. The wings, BEST WINGS IN TOWN! I don't say this lightly. We have been searching for solid wings for 3 years now. Being from up north, we have serious expectations. Josie's met them and beyond. The cheesy bread. So good. Flavorful, several kinds of cheese and each one played a part in the dish. The pizza. My husband and I were so excited to see Josie's open up closer to our home. We have been visiting the original location in Metrowest for many years and love that we no longer have to cross town to enjoy the best wings ever. The dining room was closed because of COVID-19 so we ordered 50 wings and a large cheese pizza for pick up. Our order was made quickly and packaged nicely for transport. We asked for the wings to be cooked well and they came out perfect. The outside was crunchy and the inside was tender. The hot sauce pulled it all together. For the price and the fact the water isn't filtered from the fountain, I'd normally go a 3/5, but they just opened and it's "Coronavirus Season", so I'm going to be a bit lax with my review and bump it up, with those 2 things in consideration. I understand this place is best known for their wings, but wings aren't really my thing, so here it is. The pizza is good. Lots of flop and it gets soggy in the middle pretty easily. The crust is good and has some good crunch to it. The sauce is ok. It's a bit bland and tastes like tomato sauce with garlic salt added. Nothing great, but it works for pizza. The calzone was good. We got the Meat Lover's Large Calzone and it was just good. The ground beef didn't have much flavor and the ricotta was actually barely lukewarm when we got the calzone. It was a good size, but for $14.99, I'd expect a large calzone. The prices are a bit high and even for wings, it's $1/wing and if you buy 50, you don't get a discount, which I thought was strange. Staff is fairly friendly and prices aren't bad. Pizza overall is just OK. Main complaint is the past few times I've gotten food here they have been human hair in the pizza. Judging by the length it's a brunette female. It's a mom and pop place I think. Or at least a smaller franchise so maybe the owner can't get his wife to wear a hairnet in the kitchen? Anyway it always grosses me out when I find hair in my food especially when it's baked between the cheese and the bread. Imagine pulling a slice out and finding that connecting it to the rest of the pizza...Bon appetite. I just can't do it. Obviously that's an accident but I consider it something that's pretty avoidable with proper food handling skills.
