We had frequented Hagans for years as they sponsored our Men's league softball team. The place was a shit show but the food was decent, the drinks were cheap and they were the only outdoor bar open past 11pm in Winter Garden. Well that all changed over the years as more places opened and competition got stiffer. When the original owner, Derelict Dave, sold to Luis & Gio a few years ago the place got going again. But when the "Bridges Brothers" bought the place it was awful timing as decades of neglect to the plumbing and equipment made the place an Inspection review nightmare! They pumped some money into revamping the motif of the place but all they did was just raise prices it seemed. The quality and choices of food went downhill and the staff was subpar. The initial training of the employees was minimal and it showed in the operational inefficiency. 10 months after opening they bite the bullet and close the doors to stop the hemorrhaging of cash. Another big problem is the landlord is notoriously, cheap, and impossible to deal with so good luck to anyone else who tries to lease out that spot as they will pay through the nose with a zero Tennant improvement! read more

Twas a stormy summer evening and my friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat. He mentioned that this pub had recently been renovated close to his home so off we went. He said that it was not the cleanest or nicest establishment but that it had since then gotten new management. Parking was ample since the lot is for several other establishments. When we pulled up I was pleasantly surprised by how it evoked the British culture with its styling. The inside was warmly lit and they were having a Bingo night with a $5 entry. We were less interested in the bingo night and more fixated on getting fed. We decided to sit down at the bar as most of the tables were full with families, couples, and small groups of 4-6 people. We were helped by the bartender who was patient and gave us time to take in the ambience and the menu. We decided to share an appetizer and entree. Amused by the name we decided on the Lush Mush. Yummmmm....the port reduction... delectable. For those hesitating on this selection because of the blue cheese fear not! It was not strong but made mild and gentle by the cream. The shepherds pie was comforting and satisfying. A hearty farmer's style meal. We were satisfied. The establishment was clean. We briefly explored the outside bar area which had multiple TV's for sports aficionados. It's a great locals spot for this are of Winter Garden which is a little ways from the main area. There is a secret room to explore which I didn't get a chance to enter. Hopefully, if I return on a weekend it will be open and I'll get to see what is inside. All-in-all I recommend this establishment. With the new management it's off to a great start. They had different events each night including live music, so come on over and stay awhile! read more

Excited to make this our new go to for a night cap or quick bite! We went in on a Tuesday night and it wasn't super busy. Our server, Bobby was fantastic! He was super personable and really wanted to know what our thoughts were on the food and drinks. We had an order of the garlic parm wings, and the loaded potato skins. The sauce on the wings were good - wish they were a little crisper. The potato skins were okay. The raw onion was a miss in my option. We also had an order of the chicken tenders with the garlic parm sauce. They were tasty. I got the chicken tikka masala. It was really tasty! Naan bread was toasted perfectly and the spice has a nice building spice. It's not overwhelming at all but I also like spice. They carry Magers cider on tap in both the original and pear! First time at Two Bridges since they opened from the previous establishment. Lots of positive vibes. The place has a much more happy hour. Option was very delicious and the staff was very friendly. How much brighter and fresh look to it which I hope continues. Definitely really cool, small but not for what it is. Highly recommend it. It was around 6-8 and honestly not as busy as I would hope. I hope the local area really supports two bridges and a very good spot and I think they have a good thing going. My only comment for a little improvement, given how not busy it was, I did feel the service was a little slow. But definitely attentive and friendly once on point. read more

We came in for a meal with the family. We were greeted right away and seated very quickly. The location has recently been reorganized, with a speakeasy towards the back where additional seating used to be. We were with the kids, so we stayed out in the dining area since the speakeasy is strictly 21+. So that will have to be something to try on a future visit without the kids. I was not too hungry so we all shared the scotch egg, which was prepared very well and brought out quickly. I also did the garlic shrimp and lush mush. I did not think the garlic shrimp was very garlic flavored at all, but the shrimp was cooked well. I thought the lush mush would have more of a blue cheese flavor to it and a little thicker sauce. Good flavor, but nothing that really that was super amazing. Staff was all very friendly and the meal was enjoyable to be able to talk and enjoy time with family. read more

What a beautiful job they did redesigning the interior of this space as a Victorian-era English pub! From the amazing ceiling to the Victoria artwork to the perfect lighting levels, they did everything just right. There is also an amazingly cozy speakeasy through a hidden entrance! The menu is a mix of English pub food and American sports bar. Service is extremely attentive, so I'm sure this place will be a big hit. read more

This is a combined review of both the restaurant, outside bar and Darwin's speakeasy as we've visited multiple times since the rebranding. Each visit has been great - with a few stand out features. First, who knew English curry could be so good?! Seriously, get a side of it for dipping even if it doesn't come with your meal. Next, the speakeasy...we went on a calm Friday evening and had it to ourselves most of the time. There is a special drink menu for this area and the famous biscuit cocktail with linzer cookies was so delish! Also, the bartender Mark was super efficient and went out of his way to make the most perfect NY sour. As for dinner, the fish and chips were hot, crispy and a huge portion (probably enough to share!). Overall, the service and food are a great upgrade to the prior restaurant that occupied this space while the hometown, cozy pub feel remains intact. read more

We stopped here for dinner. It was myself, my daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters. We were looking for some traditional scotch eggs, and while the eggs were OK, they were definitely not tradition scotch eggs. I ordered bangers and mash, and did not really care for the bangers. Eat most of the meal home and it was eaten as a left over by my son-in-law. My daughter had a shrimp appetizer, and the table had shared the scotch eggs. The girls split the steak. My daughter said the shrimp were good and the girls enjoyed their steak. The waiter was friendly and gave us great service The place was clean and really cute. As we were a little disappointed in some of the food next time we will order something different and continue our search for the traditional scotch egg. read more

Just returned from my first (and definitely NOT my last) visit to this wonderful, and somewhat new, restaurant/pub that has taken over a former establishment. I'd never been to the 'original' eatery, so I have nothing to compare on the changes, but this place is visually stunning. Pair that with a delicious meal, and VERY hospitable service, and you end up with a winner indeed. A temporary kitchen challenge meant that a very few menu items weren't available, but that might have played in my favor, as what I ordered ('Pasta Two') was perfection. The smell on arrival was amazing and even caught the attention of the neighboring diners. The portion size exceeded expectation. Numerous tender shrimp on top. The amount of garlic seasoning and texture of the broccoli made this very picky eater smile big time. I almost could have used a spoon to finish that last bit of delicious white wine creme sauce. Owner Marcus and a very friendly bar tender, Lindsie, were welcoming and attentive throughout. I came at a time that was not overly busy so I had the opportunity to ask some questions about the place and menu. I chose to sit at the bar, and that was a great choice. Fellow diners to both my left and right were having an enjoyable visit as well. I don't know who made the final choice of lighting in this pub, but it was perfection to me. I looked around and it seemed to be the same everywhere. Well themed, yet bright enough to read the menu with ease. Greatly appreciated. Heck, even the font on the menu made things easy. I see zero reason for this pub to not be a total success. As they continue to grow they'll choose to make changes as needed. I have nothing to suggest. I'm a fan right away. 'tis a bit of a drive for me, but I wanted to visit as soon as possible and can VERY easily recommend Two Bridges Pub to others who find themselves in the area. Go!! Enjoy!! read more

Been to Two Bridges three times now, and the amazing waitress Izzy waited on us all three times. She makes our night and is a strong asset to the Two Bridges business! The food is delicious and offers a variety but the staple falls back to English pub food like fish and chips, shepherds pie, bangers and mash, scotch eggs, etc. With more than enough to fill up on! Two Bridges is the best iteration of Lub in this location so far. But, still 3 stars, but HAS the potential to be the much needed quality Pub in West Orlando. Wings were good but buffalo sauce was bland. "Lush Mush" appetizer was amazing! But comes with 2 crostini's and should come with half a baguette. Charge $1 more and add the bread. Scotch egg was perfect. Fish and Chips - excellent. Shepard's Pie - excellent. Chicken Tikka was spicy, large portion, but not curry. Bread was good but not Naan. Steak and Ale pie was huge, deconstructed, pastry was perfect. Meat was overcooked. Needed twice the mushrooms and half the meat. Seemed understaffed. Like I said - great potential. I had high hopes for this restaurant after the Hagan's renovation! Came in on a Friday afternoon to try and take advantage of any Happy Hour specials. The only special they have on Friday's is $2 off burgers (no biggie) so we split an appetizer, the Sausage roll, and a side of the curry fries. The sausage roll was very unflavored and bland. Think breakfast sausage inside of a frozen pastry. It came with a side of store bought mustard. Would not order again. The curry fries were better, but the sauce was super thick. The fries themselves could benefit from a double fry. They were really thick and not crispy. The inside looks cute and like a British pub, and you can tell they put some thought into the little speakeasy area which is open on Friday's and Saturday's. This was a difficult one. The place looks great and we were greeted right away and promptly seated. Staff was super friendly and let us know that there were a few items that were not available. We did an order of the scotch eggs and they were great. Tasty severed hot and well prepared. I went on to try the classic burger which unfortunately I was a little disappointed. The burger seemed very dry and overcooked to me (I ordered medium) and I did not notice on the menu but it was prepared more like a smash burger so it was a bit crispy. Despite the burger being dry there seemed to be a lot of grease coming from somewhere. I did eat it and it was ok but just not personally enjoyable and for a $19 burger I was hoping for something a little better. The thick fries that came with it were fine but they might not have been freshly prepared as they were warm but did not taste fresh. I asked everyone with me how their food was and consensus was it was "OK" . Again the service was fantastic and the place looks great. Our bartender, Jaylen, was friendly, offered samples, shared recommendations, and kept the conversation lively. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Walking up just makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world. My friends and I went on a Monday night for trivia and it was such a great time! The atmosphere makes you feel like you've stepped into a piece of London's history. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the most hospitable host (Mark), who was both very inviting and welcoming! Everything we ordered, from the food and beer on tap were delicious! I recommend to everyone if you're wanting to "jump across the puddle" for a night out of good food and fun! 2 out of 5 meals were good. Rather than improving it's getting worse. Chicken tikka masala was like runny porridge for my last supposed meal (the first time it was amazing.) Literally, somehow the chicken had no flavor & the rice looked like it was in water 1/2 the day. It was the worst food anywhere I've been in the world the past year. No way this should have made it out of the kitchen. A classic burger served all red inside (not medium well) with fries that were either still frozen or really cold inside. Service is excellent but the kitchen seems to be a fail. Would be nice to eat a real meal at the bar and have a beer that is the size it should be for an adult male versus a beer that would fit nicely in a girls hand. read more
