At first glance Millers AFC appeared to be a perfect home for my mother . The owners promised to provide mom with all her needs and care for her in a loving manner . Unfortunately appearances are deceiving and words are cheap. Mom stayed at Millers less than 1 year. During that time she was verbally intimidated by the owner Sheila at least on 2 separate occasions. I am certain additional abuse occurred that remains undocumented. My heart breaks at the thought of my mom and the other residents had to live in fear each day. Our family reported the abuse to the State of Michigan ,and Millers AFC did get cited for intimidation. Please think twice before placing your loved one in their care. read more
