Worst florist ever!!! I hired Linda from word of mouth and was very displeased from the very beginning. ALL the signs were there that I should have not hired this woman but against my better judgement, I did. She made a bunch of promises she could not, and did not keep. Aside from her lack of communication from 6 months before my wedding day, she failed to come through. I had to constantly call her for updates, as well as email her and she would return my call days later, with excuses that her daughter had her cell phone. How professional!!! I was supposed to have water in my vases with floating orchids and I did not receive that. When I arrived at the reception hall, I was pissed to see there was absolutely NO water in the vases and the vases were dirty!! Yes, DIRTY!! She didn't bother to clean the glass vases or put water in them. My bridesmaids bouquets were skimpy and the roses looked dirty and old!! My bouquet looked absolutely childish. Looked like something I could've done myself as a diy project!! She was never able to show me pictures of her work. Every time she was supposed to show me, she would say "something is wrong with my iPad". At that point there was nothing I could do! She was a disaster!! Please DO NOT waste your money on this lady!! She should not be in business!! She never called to see how I liked her services because she already knew she had not delivered. I tried contacting her after my honeymoon. So prior to my wedding day, I would have given her 4 or 5 stars. Linda is rough around the edges but she knows her flowers and was half the price of any other florist I came across. My wedding planner couldn't believe her prices and came with us to meet her because it sounded too good to be true. But her prices were real and the flowers were gorgeous. The reason I am giving her 2 stars is because she lied and told me that she only did one wedding a day but she actually did my husband's partner's wedding the same day. I could have lived with that, but she also charged me extra to come decorate my cake, which I paid in advance and she never showed up or contacted me. This was after she harassed me for the final payment when I had already sent it but she had not yet gotten it by mail. My daughter hired this person for her wedding after reading the other review. She was supposed to deliver to our home, however, she never showed up. After multiple phone calls my husband went to her house where she works from. Someone there called but she had an attitude because she thought it was the next day - hello, read your contract. She was upset because she was closing on a house - again not our problem since she agreed to the contract. She slapped something together but it was very disappointing and because of her we were an hour late meeting the photographer who was also on the clock. The table arrangements looked like a Christmas arrangement with evergreen although it was not a December wedding. The men's boutonnieres were like big nearly opened roses. My daughter used Miller's Florist for her wedding flowers this month. This is the WORST florist we have ever, ever used for anything!!! They did the colors totally wrong from those agreed upon! The mother of the bride's corsage came out of their box and fell apart! Everything was cheaply done and terrible!! I hired Linda on a referral from a friend who had a wonderful experience, unfortunately, my experience was awful. Second to my dress, flowers were the most important part of my wedding day. Since Linda and I visited the greenhouse and picked out the flowers that were to be used in the bouquets and centerpieces in person, I figured that this was one thing I would not have to worry about going wrong. I should have known better when she asked for the balance to be paid BEFORE my wedding. When I walked into my reception, I was shocked- the centerpieces were so wrong that I honestly thought they had dropped off another bride's centerpieces (wrong flowers, wrong colors, tall centerpieces when I specified that all of them were to be short). After numerous phone calls- which went unanswered, I never got a return phone call from her. She had her money, so clearly she didn't care to follow up with me. You wait your whole life for your special wedding day, and to have it tarnished like this is utterly disappointing. Yes, the pricing was good, but you get what you pay for. read more

This staff is very unprofessional. After the initial meeting we paid a deposit and signed a contract, that the main florist and her staff ended up losing. After trying to contact her via email for a week she confused me with another bride and admitted that she lost my paperwork. And the paperwork she gives clients is not typed out and has words that are scratched out and written on top of. Very unprofessional. My final consultation was spent going over everything we previously discussed and she still got it wrong. I was never able to see what my flowers would look like. I wanted a cascading bouquet, that I paid for. The main florist showed me the picture and everything but when the flowers arrived on my wedding day, it was all wrong. My bouquet was not what I wanted. My color was burgundy and she sent my bridesmaids bouquets with purple ribbon. Then wanted to argue with me that the tag on the ribbon said burgundy. A professional florist should use their eyes and know that purple and burgundy are no where in the same color family. My husband and I were very unhappy with their services. The main florist wanted to blame my paperwork being lost on her daughter-in-law that she calls staff, but the responsibility of who keeps up with clients' information, deposits, and contract should not be the clients concern. My bridal bouquet and my bridemaid's flowers were gorgeous! BUT Linda didn't show up until 3 hours after we got to the venue, so we didn't have any of them for photos. She claims the manager of Chataue Bu Sche said he wouldn't let her in but myself, my husband, the bridal party, the DJ and my grandparents had been there for 3 hours before she waltzed in. should have been a red flag since she DIDN'T show up to our second meeting! She said she had a family emergency and blamed her daughter in law for not calling us.. we drove in total 2 hours to meet her (we live in elgin...) and then waited an hour. -She called the other bride at the venue a "Bridezilla" to me, and laughed. (yeah I got that one on camera...) Really professional. We Ordered: centerpieces: a medium glass bowl interwoven with calla lillies and amathyst ribbon, grey stone at the bottom, and orchids floating in water on top of a mirror with two tea lights on corners. We Got: centerpieces: a medium glass bowl with calla lillies and purple ribbon, some brown rocks, and a floating RED tea light. (it looked awful.) We ordered: Our Trellis: she said and I quote "It will be FULL of flowers, top to bottom, I hate when people skimp ya'" and laughed. and showed us a picture of what she would do. We got: three bouquets of flowers, two on each side one top middle, connected with about 8 yards of tooling. To sum up: She missed our second meeting with out a call, she showed up 3 hours late to to wedding, she didn't deliver what we signed out contract for, and bashed other brides to me.
