It was nice to walk around the property and walk up to the pond. The people who run the place were great! We even had our fridge go out on us and they had an RV repair guy to call. They were very helpful! The location is great! I highly recommended bringing your own food and grilling out since most of the restaurants and bars around are not the best. The campfire meals is such a great experience at this place too. Plan ahead for your trip into Glacier National Park and make sure you have all your driving passes and day passes to where ever your going. Or make plans to go into the park after 3pm when it doesn't require passes. There is so much to do in Glacier that this is a great place to stay for exploring the West Side! I know what Montana can be like in July So I was stressing about local family not being able to fix it for me. The first RV repair I called said they were booked out 2 weeks! But they were nice enough to give me 2 referrals to call. The first one I called was a winner. It's called True Montana. Shawn picked up immediately and said he could be there a 11:30 to check it out. About 2:30 Shawn called me and said it was all fixed ! I was so happy. I came in the shop and found the batteries at 0%. They said if I didn't want my batteries dead I'd need to get a solar charger. This just didn't make sense since I left the rig in their care for several weeks. At least own the fact that the batteries were nuked!

The water in the swim zone is shallow enough so little kids can relax and be safe. There are lots of minnows to catch in the water along with decent sized fish in the boat doc area. The only things I have some concern about is all of the children that are little and unwatched and zooming around while cars are driving. I know that is not this places fault but if you bring little children you should definitely watch them. Also, quiet time is at 10:00; the kids are still out running and screaming at that time. I feel like more of the parent supervision should be emphasized more but otherwise great place! Really well maintained and yes the campsites are a little small but it's super cozy and really a great trip to go on and relax.

I felt safer here then any other campground. The energy here was so positive in many ways. They have the cutest little cabins right on the lake! This place has it all! It really is a perfect little family get away! Perfect for the kids! They loved playing in the lake!!!! I have nothing bad to say about this beautiful place!!! Really enjoyed our stay here!

The General Manager reached out personally after my initial review to apologize and issue a credit. I really appreciate him taking ownership and making things right; that level of follow-up goes a long way. ​That said, rates still feel steep for what's offered. I get that West Glacier is high-demand, but charging $4 a wash and $3 a dry on top of a $1,200+ site fee feels like nickel-and-diming. Good management, but definitely overpriced for the amenities.

They have everything, it's organized, and there is practically no limit to the amount of great features here at west Glacier KOA. First off, they have a great high class restaurant right on the premises, they serve breakfast 7 days a week and dinner 5 days a week, including steaks and good stuff. Yes it's pricey, everything is 3 miles from the west glacier entrance, but this really is a one stop shop. Also the trailer spots have a table, 6 chairs, an umbrella, and a huge concrete slab to enjoy. Plus TWO dump station choices on each side of the spot. It's super nice to have that slab. They also had a gas grill! We used it plenty. Around 4 pm all guests get a text message from the staff with the evenings offerings. Here's the last one I got: Hey Campers! We've got an exciting evening lined up for you: 5:00 PM - Dinner is served at the Café 5:30 PM - Join us for some creative fun at the Activities Tent 7:00-8:00 PM - Birds of Prey Presentation: meet amazing birds, falcons, and owls in the Activities Tent 7:00-9:00 PM - Enjoy live music by Mike Boucher in the Bear Garden Plus, don't miss out--Scoops will be serving up tasty ice cream treats all evening long! And the ice cream shop is amazing too! The only thing the place could improve I think is the store. They could have more grocery items and less souvenirs. And the only other thing is they don't let kids in the hot tub. There were two pools? One was for families and the other was for "adults", and that one had a hot tub. Having young kids prevented me from using the hot tub at all. Our family met us there from out of state, and they got the cheapest cabin, and beware that those least expensive cabins come without a bathroom inside! But overall this place is whole and complete and is perfect for families! Also there's TONS of fun activities near the campground. Not just GNP for going in but there's tons of other activities within 10 miles. And using the app to get going to the sun tickets isn't too bad. We tried and both me and my family member got tickets in the group we wanted. You just have to be online at exactly 7pm on the recreation.gov app.

We are traveling with another couple in their own RV. We booked a stay at Beargrass lodging and RV…read morein January 2026 for a stay in July of 2026. We picked 2 sites that were next to each other, were big enough for our 35 foot rigs, and had room to sit outside and enjoy each other's company. When we arrived, they had moved us to different sites that were far apart from each other and had hardly enough space for our rigs, and absolutely no space to gather outside. My husband and I had to park our truck 3 ft in front of our door where we would typically sit outside and our friends were smack up against the back of a cabin, so no place to hang out there. We were first told they moved us because someone else couldn't fit into the site they picked. Once we discovered where we were placed and that we hardly fit, we complained and were told that it was the website that "optimized" the grid. Since there were other people in the sites we had originally selected, we asked for a discount as we didn't get what we paid for. The staff person said he would call and talk to the manager. Soon, he relayed the message that it was all our fault because there was a box we were supposed to check if we wanted to guarantee our selected site. We went back to the website and did a whole walkthrough of the booking process until just before you actually click to submit the payment. No check box. So they lied again!

Close to Glacier National Park and nice trails close by for walks. Our pup loved the expansive dog park. We were happy with the laundry facility and free ice was a bonus. Stay here. You won't be disappointed!!!
