I cannot even stand up due to the pain. I have lived this way for the past 12 years of my life, and as I age it gets worse due to this, my doctor gave me a handicap plaque. I try not to use it as I am a very stubborn person but lately my pain has been increasing with each passing day. I am on multiple medication's and some days they just don't work. With that being said on Friday, February 21 at 8:20 in the morning I stopped at this location before work because I wanted to see if I could just pick up some sort of topical pain pad to try to help while I was at work and a bag of sugar-free candy. That was my intention. But due to the insensitivity and the discrimination of your employee, my entire day was destroyed.. I pulled into the lot. There were no other cars around. My pain was very severe so I did use the handicapped spot right in front of the door because I was having a hard time moving around. If you look at the camera, you can see that it takes me a little bit longer to get out of the car . You can also most likely see the plaque hanging from my rearview mirror. I saw a man walking in I won't say a gentleman because he is not in any way shape or form. I saw him watch me as I got out of my car which immediately made me uncomfortable. He stood at the front door, not going in and as I started to move around my car, he said something and I asked him to repeat what he said he said in a nasty tone " why do you need to park there when there's other spots go move?"? I asked him a third time to repeat when he said because I couldn't believe someone had just said that to me I looked at him and stated do you not see the handicap plaque in my car he then panicked and started to say oh I'm sorry I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I thought and I said I don't care what you thought. Keep your mouth shut. If you don't know what you're talking about. He tried to say sorry again. I told him to keep it moving because at this point I was furious. I thought he was just another customer as I walked in. I heard the cashier say what are you doing here today? You are off. It was then that I realize that he was an employee and boy was he moving fast to get away from me because I think he knew that I had just heard that. I immediately walked over to the cashier and asked what his name was that I wanted his name because I was going to log a complaint she didn't bother to give it to me and instead called the other manager, who then came out and I said what it happened. I believe his name was Mateo or something with an M or an N because they wouldn't write it down for me. He was a man of either Spanish or Arabic descent. That's the only description I can give you so the other manager gave me barely information and I told her that I was going to lodge a formal complaint. She then proceeded to say to me. Oh well, he's really not like that he doesn't discriminate. at first, I was not upset by this, but how the day went on, and I explained the situation to my coworkers they said that she was just as bad for saying that and I'm a little shocked because she was a woman of color so she should know what it's like to be discriminated against Due to the whole situation, I was unable to even work the entire day because when I get very stressed out my condition, flares up even worse I could barely stand up by 12:30 and was in the bathroom crying from the pain at my job. This is a serious matter. This is a violation against the handicapped act . This person should not even be employed in a pharmacy unless he is a stock boy to be honest, but apparently he is one of the managers so I guess you set the bar very low for your employees. Your company needs to look up the handicap laws and you need to have some serious diversity training with your employees. This was an absolute disgrace and I would never use another Walgreens store in my life. You should be ashamed of the people that you employ. I will be sending this entire post as an email to the company because I want this matter addressed.

My main complaint is that they need to employ someone behind the pharmacy counter who can speak fluent and clear English. The cashier/clerk who was there today did not understand either of the basic questions I was trying to ask her and looked at me with a blank stare. She then got annoyed when I seemed frustrated with her. The clear plexiglas shield in front of the register is not helpful either and further impedes communication, forcing customers to yell through the plexiglas so everyone behind them in line can hear their business. Most other pharmacies do not have these shields anymore. English should be a prerequisite for all pharmacy employees. I am too frustrated to deal with this and I am taking my pharmacy business elsewhere.

I just spoke with the pharmacist two days ago about my husband's prescriptions, and they delivered them to us. I called today about having mine and our son's delivered, and WALGREENS answered the phone. I was given NO notification of them closing. NO MENTION two days ago. A also received their monthly newsletter in my email just LAST NIGHT. Again, no mention of them closing the doors. When I spoke with the pharmacy tech at Walgreens, she told me today is the first day and many people are surprised as I am. How incredibly disappointing. What poor customer relations. We were in shock when trying to refill a prescription today on 6/27 and having Walgreens answer the phone. (Automated answering machine of course!) We had no idea that T & C had closed it's doors and frankly, it was very unprofessional of the owner to leave all their customers scrambling with no forewarning. We actually learned of this closing by reading the previous review on this website, just today. Sorry to say, it certainly has left a bitter taste of things to come, like big box retail and online pharmacies. I gave it 5 stars for what Town&Country used to be.... certainly not how it turned out in the end.
