Then I called Hood Dental. Lauren answered, and even though she couldn't get me in that afternoon, she rearranged the schedule to have me seen first thing Monday at 8 AM. She took my information over the phone and sent a text link to complete my paperwork in advance, so there was virtually no wait when I arrived. Evelyn and Dr. Sarah took over from there. They were patient, skilled, and even kept things light with a good sense of humor during what was a stressful situation. After about three hours, I walked out with a tooth extraction and a temporary bridge -- looking completely presentable for my interview the next day. You would never have known what my smile looked like just days before. The care, the responsiveness, and the genuine effort from Lauren, Evelyn, and Dr. Sarah made all the difference. First noticed that the mold she had made was literally making my teeth crooked. I stopped wearing it at night and brought it to her attention. It was the first time I realized she could not take constructive criticism. The final straw was when she purposely released the lever on my chair without telling me and it aggressively sat me straight up to where I felt like I'd lost my breath. It was clear that it was aggression and I should've pressed charges. She's very passive aggressive and I think a lot of her reviews come from people who aren't paying attention to the details. Since leaving her, I am more aware of the damage she caused to my teeth and now have a dentist who can take constructive criticism and learns from it. That's the hallmark (or should be) of any person who wants to both grow and learn and I did not find it with Dr. Courtney Jones, D.D.S. Worst. Dentist. Ever.
