Arrived at 12:00 pm and thought ok, will wait until 12:15pm allowing for CP time. Walked up to the door and found a note attached to the door that stated: We are closed today. Sorry for the inconvenience! Well guess what Me too!! You have a Website, which was checked prior to leaving home, to verify hours and get correct address for directions. Your organization had the perfect opportunity to indicate that the Museum would not be open 9/28 until........ If you cannot be held accountable for the hours you have posted, you need to add a disclaimer to the website that states the hours posted are subject to change and please call and verify that location is open prior to visiting. Today I lost 4 hours of my life that I cannot get back and $22.00 worth of gas, because your organization was negligent using the communication avenues that was available to you. I cannot review the content of the building, however the outside is just as pictured, however the professionalism is a 0 for me. Not sure if I will be back or not, although the cost to enter is nominal, I feel like any future visit from me needs to be absolutely Free!!! Sad!!!

The entrance is really on Bryan Avenue (not 26th St), and when you walk in, it's a little hard to know where to go. Walk all the way up the stairs and in the door, yes even though it doesn't seem right you ARE in the right place. The moment you open the door, it's like you step into another world. This is a very eclectic theater experience that makes for the perfect experience. I saw "Othello" there on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. It's an intimate theater experience with a great vibe and great cast. You can tell that a lot of love and care is put into everything they do. During intermission, take a break and grab a drink (donations only) and take a seat on one of the many couches, grab a book and enjoy good company. This is a MUST visit for an intimate theatrical experience :)

There is NO BEER OR BOOZE here so be forewarned. I understand it's a university campus so that might be the reason. Booze up before you head down to your show (or sneak some in, you ninja!). Also only vending machines reside on the first floor with no options for appetizers or wining & dining time. If sitting in the balcony (any of them) you may notice the sound not carrying all the way to your seats. We had a hard time hearing Jerry and the comedian who opened up for him. I wasn't sure if it was the sound system or if it was how far back we were in the top balcony. Either way, it was a struggle to hear some of the jokes in between the audience laughs and any commotion happening near our seats.

The biggest challenge is the restroom situation--there are only two small restrooms, so a little strategic planning during intermission is helpful if you want to avoid long lines. One thing I really appreciated was the concession pricing. The drinks were very reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise compared to many larger venues. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to enjoy another show in the future.

I've also heard horror stories coming from employees saying Jared doesn't give attendance points to people he likes and Mike leaves them out to dry when they are understaffed. Things like this can't be happening when the dues we pay are so high and keep getting higher for the same quality of service as it was before. The course is beautiful but hard to play. The blue shirt guys are up your butt 24/7 trying to help whether it is intentional or forced orders nobody likes it here. Jared Owens needs to go back to school and learn a new profession

Normally our trip is after the time change and did catch the course in a seasonal sanding but the conditions of the greens even with sand made for quite a challenge. The rooms are 6 star and the food is comparable. Wine list is excellent and well stocked (no shortage off '07 Silver Oak Cab). Caddies were a new component and not experienced but most of us had played the course so was not an issue. The course has 3 five pars and 3 par 3's on front side. Great course for gamblers and fair to the shorter hitters. Clubhouse is off the charts, locker rooms are the best ever and the staff is not in a hurry or overworked. We were the only foursomes on the course the two days we were there except the A&M golf team. Possibly the best golf/dining/lodging experience ever and certainly anywhere in Texas.

It seems someone thought it would be a good idea to have all of the seats on stage. That would be fine, except the tickets I purchased on line indicated I had reserved seats. And, because the system would not allow me to leave a "single" seat, I actually purchased 5 seats even though there were only 4 of us attending the show. Because everyone was seated in the stage, seating was "first come first served". It appeared the friends and family of the cast had a heads up, because they all seemed to sit on the front row. The front row had an advantage due to the amount of the play conducted in the stage floor that was not visible to the rest of the audience. Compounding the viewing issue was the placement of a curtain/barrier that made it even more impossible to see the action on the floor from seating beyond the first row. In short, we enjoyed the show but were very disappointed in how the ticketing and seating was arranged. Had everyone been in the regular seats, there would not have been a need for the barrier and thus it would have been more enjoyable for this family.

She says that "everyone is an artist" and if she can make MY work look good, then anyone can go in and have fun with her. PLUS, you can bring your own drinks and food with you, so actually...maybe it was partially due to the Maker's Mark helping my inner artist come out! :) They have classes all the time for kids and adults, and new painting options are constantly being added. Give DEGALLERY a shot, you won't be sorry.
