There is a table in the doorway where you place your order, and I can see inside there's counter seating, but no one is permitted past the doorway table. Outside there's minimal seating. So I order a turkey sandwich, and there's only 2 choices of bread: sourdough or wheat. When I get the sandwich, it's so small. There's a few slices of deli turkey like you can get from Oscar Meyer, lettuce and tomato. It's a sandwich I could have made. Maybe their other items, smoothies, laulaus, wraps, are better. Millie's is one of my go to pre and post beach day place to come. They have the best wraps, salads, and smoothies. My all time favorite is the Kona mud pie shake but the Li hing mui mango smoothie is a close second. Service was friendly, but be aware if coming with a group, it could take a bit for food to come out. We weren't in a rush - so it wasn't an issue, but it did take about 25 minutes for our group's sandwiches. I had the Kalua pork wrap, which was delicious! I've visited Millie's for take out several times now. I'm a bit of a creature of habit so I order the Pastrami Sandwich on Wheat. I really enjoy it. I add a bag of chips with it as well. The service is always friendly and helpful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish there were more a variety of sandwiches and some other options instead of just lettuce and sprouts. Those are minor complaints. I do wish there were a little more meat to the sandwich as well. It could just be pandemic problems and I get that. Limited menu and options. Once we hopefully return to normal, I'll update this review. Overall though this is a pretty solid place and my coworkers really like it as well. This ia a great quick stop near the airport. We ate lunch here on our way to Richardson Park before heading over to the Volcanoes National Park. They have really solid, simple sandwiches. Simple ingrediants, but fresh so it makes for a great sandwich. The Roast Beef that I ate in 5 seconds comes with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and sprouts. The sandwich was loaded with sprouts and lettuce (if I recall correctly) really fresh tasting. The chicken salad itself was okay but really could have been better with some celery and onions. But overall, for price, not bad. Shave ice was just okay. It's very icey. It's not the usual fine ice that most other shave ice places use. So the syrup pretty much just drains down. You don't get a blast of sweetness. I wouldn't give it a second thought to pass next time. Staff is always friendly and there is plenty food options; so I'm sure anybody can find something they'd like. The environment is very laid back with music playing at perfect volume and you can either eat in at any of their 3 4-seater tables, 1 2-seater or they have a little single-seat bar stool type of set up against the wall which also has jars filled with Lego pieces for kids to play with and jars filled with Snapple lids featuring fun facts. You can also take out but keep in mind everything is freshly made to order so either call-in your order or be mindful of the wait time and expect to wait a little when ordering to-go cause for 2 chicken wraps I waited a little over 10 min. even for being the only customer in there at the moment. This isn't much of a bother to me but just letting you know it's not a grab and go type of situation. I've been here numerous times always ordering their wraps. My favorite is the Sweet Chili chicken which has chicken, lettuce, carrots, red bell peppers, cucumbers, bean sprouts( I order mines without which is just personal preference) and it has a sweet chili cream cheese spread which is so so yummy and it's served with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping (I always order and extra side of the sauce cause I feel 1 is not enough for the entire wrap). She mentioned that this place had refreshing wraps and refreshing sandwiches. What I ordered: - Kim Chee Vegetarian Burger - Protein Style --- (1/5) This was a miss for me. I wanted to try something different, I love kim chee but it does not go well with a veggie burger. - Frozen Hot Chocolate -- (2/5) It tasted alright. But it's not like Serendipity's. My friend ordered the wrap (sorry I forgot which one) but she had tried several throughout the year and said that she enjoys them all and it's her go to place for refreshing food. My other friend ordered a Pastrami Sandwich and she enjoyed hers as well. I liked some of the decor. The wall of records with the jukebox was nice. Along with the mirror on the wall for dorks like me to take group selfies. Makes for a fun time while waiting for your food.
