Gave them a call with what I was looking for, they had elastic material and had it sewn together before we got there. Parking lot was packed on Saturday from what was a sewing class. It's located in downtown Alex City, which is also a fun spot to come and explore. It's next door to Carlisle's Drugstore, one of the few remaining old style drugstore fountain / deli setup. We did that probably a dozen times, spread across our stays around Lake Martin. As we were departing the area this week, my lady wanted to get her sister a garden ornament, so we popped in. The management/owner(s) need to find a way to alert passersby that there is a plethora of neat stuff inside. Crafty stuff, touristy stuff, paddleboards, Big Green Eggs, and who knows what else. We were pinched for time, so I didn't have the opportunity to wander hither and yon, but if you're in the area, you could while away some time here. Nice folks and a very clean bathroom. Pick up a Lake Martin shirt or three, wander around and ogle the concrete statuary and wonder who would install that much gaudy in their yard. Although the life-sized Great Dane figures were cool. If I had a suitably-sized abode, I'd drop one of those things in the foyer or on the porch.

My mom and step-dad are building a house and wanted sinks that really stood out. Owen, Bill, Austin and Jimmy all stopped what they were doing and gave us their full attention. They were moving these heavy petrified wood sinks around and never once lost patience with my indecisive mama hahahah. This is a hidden gem and do most of their business with big companies, hence their reason for not marketing to retail customers but they do welcome it with open arms. I HIGHLY recommend having at least one talking piece in your room from this place. It is absolutely incredible!
