I entered the store and found the shelving units (what I originally came to shop for) but didn't see what I needed. No problem. I then looked at the patio features and saw a glass-topped table with four chairs and an umbrella. A closer inspection revealed a sign on the umbrella that read "$129". (I may be wrong in my memory, it may have read $125, but that's not really the point.) I haven't priced patio furniture lately, but I thought that price was too good to be true, and thought it pertained only to the umbrella. But there were two stacks of boxes behind the display, containing the whole set. A young male associate walked past me, and I asked him if that price was for the umbrella or for the whole set. he said he didn't know; he was from another department, but he would find a garden center associate. It wasn't long before the garden center associate showed up and scanned the boxes and told me the price for the whole set was in fact what was on the umbrella. (In this time I had looked at Walmart dot com and saw a similar set for $380, with free shipping.) I told him that if it would fit in my tiny SUV, I would buy one immediately and take it home. He replied by saying that they deliver. Then, a member of management walked up. He also stated that the set was that price, and in fact they could deliver - but it would be a $35 fee. No complaint from me. He also said that it could possibly arrive tomorrow or the next day. I was then told to go to the service desk and place a delivery order. And I did. The clerk at the service desk was as friendly and helpful as these other three associates, and she guided me through the delivery process. It arrived two days after. TWO DAYS. Everything was as expected. You can bet that I will drive the one hour distance if I need items from Home Depot in the future, even though La Grange is only 30 minutes away and I'm in that town twice a week. STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The rep explained the services available and helped me throughout the process. I asked if I could get a photo of the arrangement and the rep was able to send me a photo to my phone. Between the $99 arrangement, $12 delivery, $8 service fee, and taxes, the total came to $130 -- and what she received didn't match what I paid for nor did it match the quality of arrangements seen in previous customer reviews. The website shows a full, round bouquet with blooms built up on all sides. What arrived was flat on top with a single sprig sticking up, and lacked fullness all around. When I asked my sister for more photos -- hoping the first ones were just a bad angle -- she had to look down to see the flowers, since a large hydrangea bloom was sunk in the middle of the arrangement to take up space. It's simply not what was advertised. I've attached photos of what was advertised vs the product so you can see the difference for yourself. I order arrangements for occasions like this often and don't mind paying for quality, but this felt like amateur hour compared to the website photo. On the plus side, my sister loved the surprise and said the flowers smelled wonderful -- I just wish the arrangement itself matched what I purchased. There was an option to "tip" the florist. Probably should have done this to get some inspiration put into it.

Something was on the back of these leaves. It looked like they were just thrown on there.
