We LOVE this place! Yes, we are one of the people that got a Pandemic Puppy so we went looking for someplace that could help us socialize our 'Shaggy Dog'. We started using their pet grooming first. Nikki is the absolute best! She has taken our nervous boy and works with him to help him look his best. That brings me to their amazing Doggy daycare. This is not just a kennel you drop your fur-baby off at. This is all out playtime with different activities and a lot of interaction. They take tons of photo's and post them online daily. If the weather is bad, the activities come inside. In the summer, they even have a kiddy pool outside! Shaggy is in small dog play and from the pix, has so much fun. When he gets home, he is exhausted but happy. Their boarding facilities look topnotch as well and we will find out next month how our baby likes having a sleepover! read more

We always use Milton Manor because they take loving care of our furry baby! We recently dropped her off for a week stay while we went to Vegas for our daughters wedding. On the morning of the wedding I get a text with the attached photo! How SWEET! They put a vail on our girl and took a photo to send to the bride. They are the BEST!!! I love Milton Manor. I've been boarding my dogs there for over 9 years and I never want to leave them anywhere else. The dogs are happy to be dropped off with people they're familiar with and happy and tired out when they get home. Everyone that works there has been kind, helpful and accommodating. I feel like they love my dogs as much as I do. The facility is always clean and all of the animals look happy and cared for when I see them. This was our very first time boarding/lodging our two Frenchies, so as you can imagine we were very nervous, but not about Milton, just anxious about how our pups would do. We came across Milton just doing your standard Google search - the reviews sounded amazing and the place looked very clean and comfortable for the dogs. When I called to inquire for more info, the staff was very friendly and informative. We booked a medium luxury suite which was the perfect size for Auggie & Moose - along with all their toys, bed and a crate. There is a live-feed that you can stream from your phone and I was able to see how my pups were doing whenever I wanted. Our older Frenchie, Auggie, isn't as outgoing as Moose, and so there are multiple services we could add-on to make sure Auggie was as comfortable as possible - for example, cuddle time, more walks/play time, an ice cream sundae treat and a late night walk. These services allowed us to keep their routine as close to usual as possible which was important (with the exception of the ice cream sundae, which was a nice treat). I would recommend Milton Manor to anyone needing a clean, fun and loving place for their dogs to stay while they're out of town! read more

We absolutely love Milton Manor! When we first got our dog we knew we would need a place for her when we traveled and for the day to day times if we couldn't get home. Our neighbors recommended Milton Manor to us as they have brought their dogs here for years. From the very first interaction we have been so happy! It is the perfect place to bring our dog. Our dog absolutely loves going to Milton Manor! When she goes to daycare she bolts to go inside to go play with her friends. We love how they always take a lot of pictures of the daycare group and post them on facebook so we can see how much fun she had. We have had her stay on the boarding side for 1 night to up to 9 nights. We love being able to watch her on the video cam. We have peace of mind knowing she is being taken care of and safe. We were referred to Milton Manor for grooming of a long-haired cat. Nikki has been terrific and has given us lots of great tips. We needed care for the cat while we traveled, looked into what they had to offer, and gave them a try. The cat had his own room, his own window to look outside, a glass door so he could see people, and the opportunity to go out into a larger space while his litter box was cleaned. Upon our return we got a nice summary of how he was during his first boarding experience and how he handled it. Hi everyone, I brought my Standard Poodle in October for a three and a half day stay plus a grooming at the manor and, it wasn't the first time. Before, I wasn't that trilled with them but, considering that they are not too far away from my house, I returned there. But, in October, when I got my dog back, he had four different cut on his body ....two on the legs and two on the ears..... probably made with the electric razor??? Plus, even I gave my recommendations before I left, which were to leave the hair on the ears long and the ponpon on the tail the same....they "still" shaved him to the skin. They even took the time to call me while I was 8 hours away on the ocean fishing and which, I could not receive the call other than, getting the message...yes, I had told them before I left that the hair on his body had missed some brushing but, the tail and ears were done every two days. Anyway... a decision was taken to shave him to the skin all over his body. That made him shiver constantly.... I had to wrap him in a blanket when he would go to bed (still do it) .... he wants to be right beside the fireplace when I'm burning wood.. and imagine... it has been 5 weeks already......they traumatized him to a very high level! That's a sad story!!! And to put the cherry on the sundae.... I made a complaint and send it to their email address on their site... and no one ever took the time to reply nor to appologize so, it gives you an idea of their professionalism. This place was fantastic! Worth every penny and honestly the pricing is right in line with everywhere else I checked after my horrible experience with the Pet Lodge in Glenville (see my review for that!). I booked a small suite that had indoor/outdoor access (I bought a green area rug from Lowes that resembles grass for the outdoor area so they could potty there 24/7. If you call Lowes and ask for the carpet that looks like grass they know what it is) for my 2 dogs and it came with webcam so I could check on my boys the whole week I was in Florida. In addition, they take them to an outdoor area for play and potty twice daily for 15 minutes each time and it has a pool for them to swim if they wish. They smelt fine leaving there after staying from Saturday to Saturday, not like the barnyard they smelt like leaving the Glenville Pet Lodge after a less than 24 hr stay (still bitter). You need to board your dogs, go here. You will not regret it. read more

Love love love Milton Manor!! All of the ladies are wonderful! The kennels are clean, my dog comes back clean and healthy, and well played with! They have so many activities you can add on for each day, including hikes and daily pictures (these are the only extra services I have used, and love them both!). We always choose an indoor/outdoor room which our dog loves!!! It is an indoor room, with a doggie door gate to a small running kennel space outdoors. All of the dogs are individually cared for. We had an awful experience at another place near clifton park- and I was hesitant to leave my dog anywhere ever again. Milton manor has restored my faith!!! If my boy had an accident in the kennel, they clean the kennel and anything that has been messed on, including all of the bedding, toys, blankets, and whatever else I have brought to set my boy up. They allowed me to come back and set up his kennel for him, which made me feel so much better seeing where he would be and setting it up how he likes his things. Their prices- for what you get - are more than reasonable!!! read more

My husband and I just got home from picking our two dogs up from Milton manor pet "spa", we just moved to Saratoga Springs and quickly found Milton manor. They spent 3 nights in boarding that came to a whopping $421 dollars! We just moved here from Boston and have paid much less for boarding and pet services and that was being in a major city. Our dogs at any boarding place we have taken them too, we're given day care from 9-5, here at Milton manor they were given two or so small walks and the rest of the time they spend by themselves doing nothing. If you wanted to get them a little playtime, say an hour of playtime a day, be ready to spend an extra 80 dollars a day. Upon arrival we said we were there for our two dogs and the women referred to them as mouth 1 and 2 and told us they are very loud, which was completely unnecesssary especially when your dropping over 400 dollars there. Our dogs are currently filled with energy and clearly have been deprived of attention. We will not be going back, I am very upset for my dogs. We do not recommend this place. read more

I dropped my dog off here for 10 days during the off-season. The place is nice and clean. My problem is I brought my dog's food that she normally eats in pre- packaged Ziploc bags and I left instructions. They were supposed to feed her breakfast and dinner each day, 2 bags per day. When I went to pick her up they saved all of the empty Ziploc bags and told me she ate everything, she NEVER eats every meal everyday. They threw away all of her unused food, which is very expensive instead of just returning it to me. I believe they weren't comfortable telling me she didn't eat everything because it would look bad on them. Then when I checked out, their credit card machine asked if I wanted to leave a tip. The girl the day I picked up the dog looked at me and inappropriately tells me, "You don't have to leave a tip if you don't want to." Seriously, I paid enough money here, they get an hourly wage and it can't be too bad because the other girl, Cassie said she had been employed there for 15 years. Anyway the only bad thing I have to say about this place is I KNOW they threw out the unused dog food I brought there and I am ticked off because that food is expensive and they lied to my face about it. I found a smaller more reliable boarding facility with a mature adult running the place. I have not been back there since. read more

If you want to have your pet come home with an injury (and a large vet bill) that they want to pass off as having happened from your other pet that is in the same run, then this is the place for you! The most wonderful on Earth to bring your family member for Grooming, or Boarding. The staff here are truly keen on being involved with the animals. They care, are gentle and yet smart enough to avoid being bit. Lets face it when little Sammy or Johnny are away from home they get nervous and might even get nippy. These staffers are wondeful with the pets. And you can even watch your baby on WebCam via any computer no matter where you are vacationing as long as they have internet you can sign in and peek at them live. The Groomers are wonderful, caring and gentle. A tad rushed at times but that happens when you are really good at what you do. I would recommend getting an appointment in advance and if a Holiday is approaching might want to book that visit about two weeks ahead as I'm sure the week prior is already booked. Just try it... you won't be disappointed. Give instructions however when Grooming a long haired dog or the feathers will be trimmed off, be informational as to what you want up front to avoid displeasure later. read more
