Disorganized and cluttered place. I don't recommend the grooming services whatsoever after my experience. ​The cramped and back room where they attempt to groom multiple dogs is far from a clean or stressfree environment. Paperwork was not given prior to appointment and important questions were not asked at all. I had a feeling in my gut to hang around for my pups first grooming experience here and I'm glad I did. Watched the camera feed to see my dog in the back room just hanging around for 15 mins before they attempted to put him on the table. He didn't react well to being in a new unfamiliar place with strangers who barely acknowledged him. Both groomers were busy with other dogs so I'm confused as to why they took my pup back if they didn't have the time or attention for him. I was happy to walk out of here before they even got to grooming my pup. I'll make sure to do more research to find a groomer that can handle anxious pups. The owner of this establishment is extremely rude and should rethink their approach to handling customers. I'm not sure how this business has lasted with such poor customer service. If your disabled do not I repeat do not bring your business here they do discriminate! Let me give you my experience! I made my booking a month in advance I was having some health issues and had to change the appointment yes they were accommodation! Anyways I made it the day of the appointment despite glad my face turning purple from an ear infection from post opt surgery! They said they appreciated I didn't cancel the appointment because they don't like it when people cancel last minute I legit could of died but it's more important they make there money they knew I was disabled bc I was dropped off in a disability van bc I can't see well enough to drive anymore ! Anyhoo my dog got groomed I peaked in a few times he was very well behaved this isn't his first time at the rodeo ! Anyhoo ! They told me the price before I arrived was going to be 55 dollars I was going to add a five dollar tip now I am disabled meaning I am on disability do you think I said hey God make me disabled that would be awesome give me a ton of traumatic experiences and make my life pretty difficult no I did not do you think I said make my 20 fun but difficult 30s descents and 40s so far have been kinda hell anyhoo I am not sure I haven't died and been sentenced to hell yet anyways so then I get they are like your dog bigger then we thought it's gona cost more over the phone I stated he was a Morkie and 30 pounds they quoted me 55 dollars I am on a budget I work on call bartending and on call modeling but it's just that on call a few extra bucks when I can get it other than that I get a monthly income I need to budget their appointment was at the end of the month and they told me a certain price which I budgets when they cashed me out it was for 67 dollars way over what they quoted me and I only had like 4 dollars to tip now rich people were coming in tipping 15 dollars sorry I wasn't like hey God make me a rich asshole not that all rich people are asshole but you get the gist anyways so they said they wouldn't groom him again and bc I don't drive and j was just browsing around the store I don't know if it was an employee or the owner but he came and was stern and like can I help you and kinda accusatory way and staring me down like I was stealing which I have never stolen anything in my life hand to God so he made me nervous even though I wasn't doing anything wrong I was waiting for my dog oh they said my doh wasn't welcome back and I think it was based on me not tipping 15 dollars buyer beware !! read more

Very cold , non personable environment. Prices are ok re: retail, but do NOT use the groomers! Not clean and crowded. I don't see how this place stays afloat as the service is not good at all. With so many options, don't waste your time with this business. read more

The Pampered Pooch & Pals will always go above and beyond with their services, they always seem to make you feel at home no matter who you are. If you approach them with love and kindness they will always return the favor in abundance!!!! They have a top of the like grooming facility, dog daycare, a self bathing room, a beautiful retail store for all type of animals and an excellent trainer. Their whole staff is so knowledgeable and never seems to fail me. It just baffles me to read some reviews people leave and to see the absurd amount of entitlement and blatant insanity from some of these people. you guys keep doing what you are doing because the community loves you guys! I visited this business to get nail trims for my dogs. I had an appointment. I parked in the spot between the two cars in the photo because it was the only spot in the shade. I saw the car on the left parked illegally and thought to myself geez what a jerk. I called to make sure they were ready for us since I was early and I needed to leave one dog in the car for a few minutes while I took the other one in. They said they were ready and as I started exiting my car a man came out of the building with flailing arms yelling at me to move my car. It turns out he was the jerk with the car parked illegally. He said I'm the owner and that's my car. I'm parked there on purpose. If the man with flailing arms had talked to me respectfully and in a calm manner, I wouldn't be writing this review. I called back and let the staff know I'd be cancelling my appointment. Actions have consequences. I'll be taking my business to another establishment where customers are treated with dignity and respect. read more

Pampered Pooch & Pals has been a Godsend for our three dogs. I had been looking for a local groomer and had not found any I was happy with because they all needed reservations months in advance. Pooch & Pals has an easy online reservation system + walk-in services available too! The facility is clean, organized, and every time I have visited, all of the poochies look happy to be groomed. My parents love this place for their doggie day care! Two days a week their pup plays her heart out & comes back ready to sleep all night; the staff has said she loves to socialize with the other dogs & is one of the more active pups there, so this is great for her since my parents only have a cat at home, no other dogs to tire out or play with this one. My mom loves the staff; pick up & drop off is so easy for her and their mannerisms are fabulous for pet care. read more

Rob & his team know & love dogs more than Any business around except our vets perhaps & it's a close tie. Rob has an extensive history In dog show & now dog training-/: we have Brought dogs with difficult behaviors to him & he helped our human & pet family tremendously. His classes are medium sized. I've seen Rob take a shy or mildly aggressive Dog into his guide & that dog is happily heeling in a fraction of time. We have been coming here for 14 years & keep coming back. While this store has a convenient location, I won't be returning. The store is doggie centric, but it was the conditions of the fish that I found to be concerning. There were dead floaters in some tanks, as well as several completely unoccupied and only partly filled with water. The tanks in general were low on water and generally unclean, the fish looked sickly, and small. read more

I can attest to the professional services I have received for my little multipoo, the owner Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me to choose a diet program for our dog. This boutique shop carries many products not available from the box stores. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend their services. PS the only people I see, who complain about groomers, don't take the personal responsibility for the daily care required of the high maintenance breeds. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I pulled into the parking lot in the middle of a snow storm only to realize the store was not yet open. I had an accumulation of snow and ice on my front windshield so I decided to scrape the ice off before getting back on the road. A male figure came outside and asked me if I needed help with anything. When I told him I was okay and was just trying to clean my windshield off he told me that I needed to do it somewhere else and subsequently told me to get off his property. My wife and I have been monthly customers at this establishment to buy supplies and supplements for our elderly dog, but we will surely never return after being treated like this. read more

She is totally professional in every way; she is always friendly in welcoming you, accommodating any special requests you may have, but most importantly she exudes the warmth and friendliness that our special furry friends need to make their visits with her a wonderful experience. It isn't often that you find an owner as honest and helpful as the person running this pet store. He carries many high quality dog foods and specialty items. I've been a customer there for quite some time. I ask him questions almost every time there is an issue with one of my 3 dogs. He always does his best to help us find the right solution. Dropped of Max our Schnauzer, after we were told she had done several schnauzer cuts and not to worry. I was even going to show her some pics before hand, but she insisted she knew what she was doing and not to worry.Well we go back and its not even close. She tried to back track and fix what she had done and complained about having to spend an extra 15 minutes trying to fix him. We left unhappy, but still paid. My wife goes back 2 days later to talk to her, but was told she wouldnt be there until the Saturday. The owner Mike spoke to my wife and said he has nothing to do with the grooming and she is separate and to come back when Jen the groomer is there. My wife goes back on Saturday and is treated rudely and poorly by both the owner and groomer. She maybe able to cut regular dogs, but not specialty dogs. If she had been up front in the beginning, we would have found someone else. She also said that no other Schnauzer owners have ever complained about her grooming. Max looks like another breed and not even a Schnauzer. Now we have to go somewhere else and pay again to get him groomed the right way. Would not recommend them. Customer service isnt good either, and thats why we stopped going there a long time ago. Somethings just dont change and they go through groomers like crazy. There is a reason for that.. We also went to another groomer who couldn't believe what was done to our pup. He thought it was a joke the way he was groomed. I didn't want to give even 1 star, but couldn't post this unless I selected at least 1 star. read more

I have a tip and advice! If you have a dog that needs a plain cut and average care this is the place to go. If you have a dog that requires a special cut then I would not recommend the grooming or groomer. I was told this groomer was great, however was very disappointed with the cut and service. She was not professional nor was the owner. Paid for a service and got a glorified dog bath . Neither took ownership or accountability for the huge mistake in breed cut. Customer service is no good. So much for the customer being right. They both insisted it was the right cut for a schnauzer. Wouldn't want a happy customer. read more

I am not a happy customer! Showed up today for my dog grooming and the dog groomer apparently went home for the day. I drove half an hour each way, in a snow storm because I didn't want to cancel on her. And what do I get? Not even a phone call?!?!? She told the owner that everyone else canceled on her and that she called to let me know not to come. What a joke!! I was home all day and my phone didn't ring once. I have been going to that store for a long time and I have never been as dissatisfied as I am today. Such a shame that a good business like that has lousy employees to tarnish their name. I hope she reads this review and feels good knowing that a PREGNANT woman drove all that way in a snow storm! For nothing! read more
