I reached out to a few different mechanics looking for quotes on some work I was needing done on my 2004 Mini Cooper, a car, I learned, not many mechanics are willing to work on. Those that do work on them know they are among a select few that can and they exploit that fact by charging you an arm and a leg. I was pleased with the very fair estimate that I received from Remington tires and made the trip out to see them. While going over my car I was called and informed that the work I asked them to do was not required, instead I needed a separate part. I asked them if they could still take care of it and they did. They were even able to keep the cost (aside from the higher price of a caliper vs rotor) the same as they quoted me. On top of that, they informed me of another, potentially dangerous, issue I have with the car that needs attention. They were generally concerned for my safety, so much so, they even offered me a ride back to the city if I wanted to leave it with them. Needless to say at this point, I will absolutely be returning to Remington Tires for any and all of my auto needs. You should definitely bring them your business, you won't regret it!
