When I figured out they had a st charles location I was happy because it was closer to home. The car was overheating so I took it to them. The said they ran a pressure test, it was my head gasket(s), and would cost me $6000.00 to fix. I then took it to another mechanic who ran a pressure test that clearly showed it was just a water pump and it cost me under $500. So they either never ran a pressure test, and just made something up, or they have no idea what they are doing! Either way, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money.

I recently had some costly repairs done, the prices were comparable to other places. An out of town mechanic put aftermarket alternator on my vehicle a few years ago, and unfortunately it was not compatible, and the only warranty offered was for another aftermarket part, which was unacceptable. These mechanics know what is needed and make the right decisions for your specific car. I had no other issues with the alternator, and am confident that the recent replacement part of the crankshaft and its components will be reliable as well. Our truck also gets serviced and repaired at Autotech, and no problems. A loaner was provided at no cost, and they have provided transportation when needed as well. I recommend this business often because I've never had any problems.

No names are going to be named I just wanted to make everyone aware of potential criminal activity . Ofallon Garage employed a professional credit/ debit fraudster who is still currently working there. They store the credit card information for months then will use it later, long after the time of a purchase made at Ofallon Garage so the unsuspecting victims wouldn't know where the charges came from. The owner is well aware of this is knowingly having the fraudster dealing with your sensitive data. I've heard of multiple people having fraudulent charges occur on their account. I just wanted to give a heads up to my community.

After the mechanic took a look at it, he couldn't figure out the issue and said I would need to take it to a GM dealer. Turns out the mechanic found some wires he had no idea what they were and cut them out. These wires were part of the after market remote start that was installed by another shop. I brought this concern to the shop manager and he said they wouldn't charge us for "looking at it" but they weren't going to fix anything. We were also told that the mechanic who worked on it doesn't work for him but rather works behind the shop. So not only did I pay to tow it to the shop, I had to pay to tow it to a GM dealer to fix the mess they had made cutting the wire harnesses and then pay another $1000 to install a new remote start system all cause they were incompetent, shady and screw people over. I will give them credit for making it look like they were being nice and not charging us to look at it but really they were making sure they couldn't be held liable cause with no charge, no official service was provided and according to the shop it was taken to the mechanic who worked on it "doesn't work for them". Please do not put yourself in that position to be screwed over or taken advantage of and ripped off by OFALLON GARAGE when there are other reputable shops like AUTOTECH or LENS or LTS or MEYER AUTOMOTIVE in the area. Fail to respond to phone calls I did not hear from him until Friday and that's after I made a post on yelp and his website on Facebook other than that, he would not respond to text or phone calls. I've had to spend over $1500 to get something repaired that should've been covered under warranty because it was slowing and stopping my business, and due to his unprofessionalism and miscommunication, he makes unprofessional upfront, but when it comes to honoring his service, you can't depend on him.
