We had the best time at our little cabin in the woods. This place well exceeded our expectations. All the little touches made everything extra special. Upon arrival we felt right at home. We walked in to great music on the CD player and were blown away with the basket of goodies. This place has the best scones and jalapeño muffins I have ever had. The fridge was stacked with drinks and snacks as well. We took a little walk everyday around the property and found all kinds of cute little trails and touches every time we explored. The staff is friendly and nice. They communicate through text and are there with nothing you need. They leave you alone unless you need something so you can keep your privacy and romance at it's highest. We definitely want to go back and stay in every cabin at least once. read more

Pictures don't do justice on how amazing this place is!!! We were celebrating our honeymoon and this is was the perfect get away to disconnect from the world!! We stayed at the batts ferry! It has its own parking so you don't have to do no walking and leave your vehicle. You don't have to check in the place is ready for you when you walk up to the door! They welcome you with some music playing! The tub is Amazin and it fits 2 People with plenty of room! They really put love to every detail!! Get ready to disconnect from your phone there is minimal signal. No tv and no wifi! My opinion perfect for a couples get away! We stayed 2 nights and had plenty of snacks and drinks to last us! There is plenty of restaurants close by! We just loved it so much We picked up dinner and went back to finish the night with a glass of wine in the tub! read more

7F was amazing and we could not have asked for a more perfect evening for my son and daughter in law's wedding on New Year's Eve. The venue is so beautiful and every area has been thoughtfully planned with many photo opportunities. We also reserved the cabins - each one is unique and charming. The suggested vendors were easy to contact and each one was excellent. I highly recommend 7F as a venue for any event and as a weekend getaway. DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP!!!!! They absolutely wouldn't communicate with me. I called on numerous occasions, to be told that a manager would return my call. I emailed...crickets. I SHOWED UP IN PERSON AND MET THEIR EMPLOYEES...still wouldn't return my calls. You do not need this kind of service for your wedding. It is stressful enough. Very pretty place but getting here was crap!! First you would never guess this place was behind an elementary school on a dirt road, then the gps told us to turn into which looked like a residents which then we were like maybe it's behind it which it was but we had to go into another road to get there which you would think for being a wedding venue kind of and having people always coming and going that they would add a concrete road... my poor tires. The parking sucked here, so people were squeezing finding random spots. First impression when saw place was good, it was quaint and cute and good for a small size wedding. If you had to use restroom you had to walk kind of ways to get there which sucked but if you have to go then you just got to suck it up and walk to long ways lol Overall for this place it was pretty nice! read more

Most people see four or five venues before deciding which one will host their big day. For Autumn and I we saw one and that was 7F Lodge. We didn't have to go anywhere else! Lisa made us feel so welcome and was the perfect resource for everything wedding. She knows all of the best vendors and 7F Lodge offers amazing packages with All Things Planned. Our wedding was the best day of our lives! Everything was beautiful and we couldn't have found a more magical place. Our family enjoyed their stays in the beautiful honeymoon cabins! When I found out I would be attending a Texas BBQ at the 7F Lodge, I was expecting to arrive at an old lodge with animal heads on the wall and meeting people wearing big hats... you know, like in the Flintstones. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at a beautiful country oasis. I did not stay here, but toured the lodge and poked my head in several of the vacant living quarters. They are all themed - Mexico, Paris, Spain, etc..., and beautifully designed. It is definitely cozy and great for a weekend getaway. There is also a spa and a wedding chapel. The chapel is tiny and can seat about 15 people... the best way to describe it is pristine, but cozy. It looks like it was built about 100 years ago, and would be perfect for an intimate country wedding. The lodge has a fantastic catering menu. We had the cowboy bbq, and it was fantastic. It was very HEAVY... but completely worth it! Happy times. read more

You have to see this place. It has a little white chapel, a pavillion, a huge covered deck area, 7 cabins all with different themes, and 3 new ones on the way. This place is amazing. I had my wedding and reception here just last weekend. We had guests staying in each of the cabins and my husband and I also stayed in one. The staff is amazing and so helpful and friendly! Many of our guests will be returning to stay in the cabins and to have their own events at the pavillion. 7F Lodge is romantic and secluded and just the perfect place for almost any event!!!!! The cabins are incredible too! You have to see each one because they are so unique! I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with 7F and all of the staff there. We recently attended a wedding at the 7F lodge, the pictures on their website made it look inviting, and it certainly was! From the quaint little bungalows to the wedding chapel and reception area....it was all so lovely. You certainly can't judge a book by its cover, we were booked in "the barn" and that was exactly what it looked like from the outside, but once you stepped inside it was so lovely and romantic, large bed and a heart shaped jacuzzi tub! There was a basket with fruit, cookies, pastries, candy and snacks. The fridge had soft drinks and juice, the tiny kitchen was just enough to warm up our muffins and make our coffee. We definitely will make the 7 F lodge a repeat if ever in the College Station area. read more

Decided my wife and i needed to get away for a day and a night so we picked 7F. This place is nice and secluded away from the busy College Station life and is beautiful area. We stayed in France, which is a French themed cabin tucked into the trees. Beautiful cabin and beautiful decorations. We had a blast during our stay and was nice to just relax and breath for once. Friendly staff on the phone and enjoy that it is self check in basically where you go straight to your cabin and get to relax. Enjoyed the breakfast basket and pastry box they leave as your breakfast and we will definently be back here in the future. read more

7F Lodge is a wedding facility that has old rustic Texas shacks done up real fancy and cool. We stayed at the Sugar Shack which is New Orleans roadhouse themed. Its a two room planters shack, with a disco ball and an electric guitar in the living room. The bedroom is red and there,s a hot tub. The old Ford truck parked in the frontyard is electrified. It was sooo cool. read more

7F purports to offer itself as a venue for weddings that run on the rustic side. It's definitely rustic, so rustic that if any of your guests are elderly or have any mobility issues, be prepared to have extra help on hand for them. Parking is on a graveled area with uneven terrain. There's a path laid between the chapel and the building with the restrooms, but the stones are uneven. The women's restrooms, all two of them, are not accessible at all: not a SINGLE grab bar exists, and there aren't any doors: the two toilets have a curtain for privacy. The sink is old school and no way could a wheelchair user function there at all. It's very disappointing that more than 20 years after passage of the ADA, businesses can get away with this. read more

No TV, no wi-fi and no telephone...We had an extraordinary romantic weekend celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary at 7F Lodge's Sully's Place with an 80 sq. ft. dance floor, complete with a loaded 1959 Wurlitzer Jukebox and neon bar signs allowed us to dance way past "last call" making this one of the most unforgettable anniversary celebration to remember. 7F Lodge and Events - Wedding day - Bed & Breakfast Near Me - College Station, Texas

We used 7F lodge as our wedding venue. It was perfect for what we were looking for and held a lot more people than I was expecting it would. They do a great job reminding you when payments are due and making sure you know they are available to answer your questions whenever you have them. It was wonderful to be able to stay on site the night of. It saved us money on transportation for sure. The Sunday house, for the girls to get ready in, was absolutely perfect! And so photogenic. The only thing I really can complain about is the groom/groomsmen situation. Cabins are available to rent, and there are 5 required cabins if you rent the venue on a Friday-Sunday. BUT you can't rent them the night before (ie; if I want to stay all weekend on site, I'll have to rent a non-required cabin which is both more expensive, and doesn't count toward your "required cabin" quota). Also, the cabins aren't technically available to get into until 3:00pm, and you have to be out by 11:00am the next day. SO, without a place for the groomsmen to get ready on-site, you have to rent a non-required cabin from Friday-Sunday for a Saturday wedding, otherwise they would need to get ready off site. It all worked out, and the venue was for sure more affordable than many other places around town, but they have their own little ways of making their money, so just be aware of that when you see the initial low price! I am still so extremely happy we held our wedding out there. We were able to rent out all the required cabins to family and friends, who all really loved the venue and the cabins! read more

I made a reservation for a wrong date but the kind lady , which I forgot her name, set the cabin up for us at night without charging extra. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful ranch. Our stay at the Barn was short but had us planning a return trip before we left! Though my wife is more the B&B connoisseur, I was sucked in by the charm of this place. Privacy is king at 7F and though located moments away from Texas A&M we felt like we were a world away. The enclosed outdoor shower was refreshing, and though we didn't try the hottub, it all seemed spotless and inviting. The treats left by the 7F staff did not disappoint! The pastries, coffee, juices, etc were a welcome treat and started our day off right. We also noticed that they seem to have a small wine store next to the tiny office, but it was closed when we came in. For our next visit we'll check on the hours or just bring in a bottle of wine or two to enjoy in the room. 7F does provide glasses, plates, etc. The rest of the room was equally well done. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sitting area was an inviting place to chat or read a book. All in all, it was a perfect spot to relax and get away from it all. We'll be back. read more

It is pretty out there and the cabins are pretty too. However they are pretty pricey on everything. More than double on the catering, more than double on most venues and offer less services (everything is priced ala carte) and double the price of a nice hotel room in Bryan. However, it is secluded. But don't be in a hurry to get your deposit back, if you get it back at all. They have items in the rooms that are of "sentimental value" to the owners and they really want to price those out of the park. We had something in one of the rooms come up missing (possible $25 item), they wanted to deduct $75 from the deposit due to "sentimental value". It was found and returned. But still no deposit has been returned. I paid it 7 months before the event and it has been over 30 days since the event. Plus, they tell you it is a 48 hour rental, however, you get less than 48 hours for your $7000 price tag. And if it is not cleaned up by the time THEY want to start cleaning up, then you get another $200 deducted from your deposit. It's like they punish you if you don't pay the $250 clean up fee to them. They are not a great venue to deal with. If I had known then, what I know now, my +$7K would have gone locally and I would have paid for more decorations, flowers etc... Their flowers were not blooming well and they had not picked all the dead blooms off the rose bushes. Also, if you are allergic to feathers, better stay away. There are feather mattresses and pillows on every bed. My husband wheezed all night. We kept his inhaler handy just in case. There are no phones and no TV and no emergency alarms to pull. IF you get cell phone service, then that is the only way to get a call out. read more
