Stopped in just before 9:00 pm on a Wednesday night looking for a slice or two. Outside was lit well with the open sign on, so I walked in and took a look at what was left at the slice bar- not a whole lot, so I picked a slice of white. As the staff was cleaning up I waited for my slice then took it to go. Staff was welcoming, by the way. Pizza was reasonably priced and very good. They serve a nice and thin NY style, maybe could've used a bit more garlic, but overall slice was very good. If I'm able to get back earlier in the day I'd like to try a plain slice. I'd recommend their pizza based on this visit. read more

Upon eating my pizza I bit into a twist tie (the plastic with metal down the middle that is used as a closure to a bag of bread) I called the restaurant and told the lady who answered the phone. She then put the phone down and told her boss Will (I believe he is the owner). (I heard the entire conversation because the phone wasn't on hold). She was mortified and did not want to repeat to me what he said but he insisted. Her boss told her to tell me that the people who made the pizza have clean hands and they didn't touch my pizza and the dough was near where the bread is and to also just tell me sorry. That was all. We LOVE Milton's. We order for delivery often; they have a good product at a good price and they are consistent. Fantastic wings, get them well done. Pizza is authentic and not cheap ingredients good cheese. Hoagies and cheesesteaks have always been above average. We came out from Delco and know what's acceptable as "passing" in ChesCo. Milton's surpasses those expectations. Those delivery guys take the extra step in getting up our steep driveway, even in snow. Talk about throwing in extra effort! I've been ordering from Milton's for 10 years and won't ever order from them again. Monday I picked up a sausage pizza and 3 of the pieces had no sausage at all. The rest of it had very little sausage. Today I ordered a Ham and Cheese grinder and here's a picture of the tomato end that was on half of the grinder. I am not using Milton's again. There is limited delivery in the area. Milton's is ok. Pretty much typical pizza shop fare. The delivery drivers are friendly. Where they fall short is the phone staff. There is one person who consistently acts as though taking your order is a inconvenience for her. And when you get her you may find that your order is wrong. Example: a spinach pie which doesn't have sauce was delivered as a red pie with spinach. A CHICKEN cheesesteak showed up as a cheesesteak. When you call to explain the error they want you to do the work to return the food and pick up the new order. You also have to watch out for their prices because they will not match the prices in the menu or online. read more

Pizza, cheesesteaks, hoagies, and wings are very good. Friendly staff and clean inside. Their buffalo chicken pizza is awesome. Regarding the delivery - they sometimes forget to deliver sodas when ordered. Also, they don't have banana peppers. Instead, they use jalapeños- not what most people are looking for on a hoagie, IMO. I have worked in restaurants for 8 years now. I know how difficult it is some nights. However, I placed the order at 6:55 pm. At 7:35 I got a call saying that the crab cake I ordered 40 minutes ago is not available. So I ordered something else. At 8:15 the order finally gets to the house. Might I add, my House is only 6 miles away from Milton's. How did it take an hour and twenty minutes for the order to get to my house? Horrible service. But the foods good. Meh. Food tasted good. Concerned about the food safety. The kitchen is pretty much open and you can see most of what's going on in it. One cook handled raw chicken with his bare hands, then took a towel, wiped his hands and left the towel on the prepping table. Cooks are supposed to wash their hands. BTW, why not use gloves? On a Second Note I got charged 12% more than what declared in the menu and wasn't even told about it at all, not even at checkout. Furthermore, I have even left them a tip. That was stupid of me. The first time I ordered from Milton's they were great. They delivered in the snow storm and we were snowed in, so the driver had to walk up our street to deliver our pizza. Ever since then, every time I've ordered from Milton's, I've had an issue with my order. Several times they've forgotten my sides or prepared an order incorrectly. Sometimes they forgot whole items that I've paid for. I usually order through Grub Hub, which I doubt is part of the problem because other restaurants don't seem to have an issue properly preparing my order. Every time I call to make a manager aware of my issue, they offer to either run an item over to me (which I usually decline because they take forever and the food is cold) or offer to take $ off my next order but then have an issue doing so because I order through Grub Hub. At this point I'd rather order from any other pizza place but Milton's. read more

Not a bad place, also not exceptional. A little pricier than options out of reach on a lunch break and I bet that's why. I've eaten here 100+ times out of convenience and they've forgotten items on pick up orders and unlike other stores did nothing as a gesture of kindness. For example, I got a large salad order and got to work and they forgot dressing. I went the next day and mentioned it checking out and the owner was ringing me up and acted like it was no big deal and ran my card for an $8 salad and when he realized he forgot to ring up my 99¢ chips he beat me up about not running my card on an order for 99¢! Ordered 2 salads ( 1 was Grilled Chicken Caeser Salad) small cheese pizza, bruschetta and fried mushrooms for delivery. I wad told it would take 30 to 45 minutes. My credit card was charged within 15 minutes of calling. I had to call back an hour later to find out where the order was. I was told that it just went out for delivery. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get the order. I received everything, except the career salad did not come with dressing. The pizza was stiff. We ordered from Milton's quite often typically the food is decent however the delivery time is atrocious. They promise 45 minutes and it often takes twice as long. The most recent time we ordered from them the one Stromboli was of average size and the other Stromboli it was a good 3 1/2 inches shorter and not nearly as full. When I contacted the owner about this he told me that the reason I was used to it having more pepperoni in it was because apparently his employees were putting to much in. No offer to replace it and basically told me that this is how it is. Will no longer be doing business with them. read more

The people answering the phone are horrible. They've messed up our order numerous times and the food isn't all that great. I've had better.

My order was supposed to take 60-70 minutes. At 75 minutes I called and was informed 10 more minutes. At 1hr 40 minutes it showed up. Cold. And missing a sandwich. The pizza didn't have the one topping ordered on it. When I called to tell them they forgot a sandwich they and requested a refund they said they would drive the money to me. They called back a few minutes later to say they would refund on my card. The driver asked me if it was his fault. I'm not sure how I would know that.
