This time, we had issues with our doorbell. Jeff R. came out within the time promised. He was very nice and respectful. We sorted out the issue, it was fixed in an hour, and the charge was the minimum at $165. Overall, two great experiences with Best Electric!

The first time was okay, I let him inside (during COVID) even though he was doing outdoor work so he could see the space. He never wore a mask, didn't even have one, and no shoe covers either. The next time I asked him to wear a mask and I had to provide one to him. The next time (yes, this has been almost two months and the project still isn't complete) he showed up to the job with a dead drill? He needed to plug it into my house to charge, and then just sat in his van half an hour letting it juice up. We wanted two over-door lights and two outdoor outlets put in. He would leave siding open on the house showing the insulation and then leave for days at a time, even during rain storms. The last time he came over he slammed so hard that the plaster wall cracked INSIDE the house! We had two switches to be fixed inside, he did one then sat down and said he was too tired for the day and needed to go home. So he just.... left? Still hasn't been fixed. Now it's been three and a half weeks since he "finished" the project and guess what? The switches for the outdoor lights are swapped. One side of the duplex controls the other side's outdoor lights and vice versa. We've been calling this whole time to get him to return and fix the work, but no one has showed up.

It looks like they will do heating, cooling and plumbing throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, (and possibly) Washington counties. I would definitely recommend!

While I was not crazy about Pam in our initial interaction, she got better over time. After comparing multiple bids, I selected Seider, their Daikin Central Air unit came with an almost unheard of 12 year parts and labor warranty. With a little back and forth with Todd on a time for installation, we were all set. Pam and I scheduled the day and time and sure enough, the installers were there exactly when Pam said they would be. Just two minor quibbles that prevented five stars here: 1) After installation, the installers left behind some screws on the floor that I naturally stepped on in stocking feet several days later. 2) The electrician asked before using my bathroom, but did not feel the need to wash his hands afterwards. Everything else was great and I would use them again in the future.

What did I not like? 1) Tech that came to my house spent 2 hours looking at my circuit breaker box and plugging a device into a few of my outlets, talking about a concern with "voltage drop" that might be cause of garage power outage. It wasn't, but he was looking for other services to sell me. Never quoted me for the service I needed done. 2) Supervisor came by 2 hours later to re-inforce the "voltage drop" concern. Gave me a quote. Quote included surge protectors for each circuit box that I did not ask for. After surge protectors removed from quote, it was still $4400 more than the quote of the company I ultimately hired to do the work. Tech and supervisor both got their boss (same guy) on speakerphone to discuss voltage drop concern. Would cost $200+ per outlet to repair and still not guaranteed to resolve voltage drop concern. Very suspect operation. I will never call this company again for anything. If you do, be sure to get multiple quotes from other companies.

HVAC went on vacation and never called back and after a month of emails i finally received the electrical estimate. I asked for an ETA on the work and if it possible to add one outlet to the job, but if the outlet delayed to proceed with the quoted work. No responses for a few more weeks. Frustrated i called to speak with the office and request a refund. Was told I would be called back. Fast forward to the next week and no call backs, i call again to get a refund and am told that the person able to issue the refunds is aware of me , and im on her list but she hasnt had the time to call me back yet. as they are short staffed in the office and noone else is able to assist. Finally am escalated to someone named amanda who informs me that the person reponsible for refunds will try and call me back within a day or 2. Based on previous experiences, im not hopeful at this point. I hear they do good work BUT with customer service like this i cannot recommond their services at this time.
